In order to survive in The Resident (especially on Shadow Village difficulty), the player must collect all useful itemsthat are scattered across the map. There will never be enough ammo, as well as first-aid kits or other useful materials for crafting. And lei won't hurt anyone either.

The territory on the map is marked with three colors:

Gray. Not explored. Ethan hasn't even been in here yet (and maybe doesn't have access).

Doors are marked in the same way, which is extremely useful for finding shortcuts. It is necessary to make sure that buildings and passages always remain blue before leaving them. This greatly simplifies the passage.
