Developers Honkai: StarRail announced an increase in the minimum and recommended system requirements, which will come into effect with the release of February patch 4.0. The first update of the series will include a new planet. Two-dimensional, featuring a densely populated metropolis with numerous pop-up elements, which will increase the load on RAM, CPU, and graphics card. The game will remain compatible with lower-spec devices, but doing so increases the risk of lag and image degradation.

The changes will primarily affect PC users: now a processor no weaker will be required Intel Core i5, video card GTX 1060 or more powerful and RAM at least 8 GBTo play at the same quality as before, fans should check whether their hardware meets the new requirements.

There are no changes for mobile gamers on iOS and Android platforms, as well as console owners. However, Planet Joy will add a wealth of diverse content, so all users will need to consider not only component compatibility but also device storage space.
