Hello tankers! Wotpack is with you and today we continue to analyze the answers of the developers and share the most interesting news. At one of the last streams, they shared information that there is an interesting feature in development - creation of servers with limited conditions or requirements.

When they returned to random for a week general combat chat, then the players were able to experience long-forgotten feelings: jokes from artillerymen with questions "Well, how's the package?" and already less kind responses (especially from strands) on the topic "one-button crayfish" (often more sophisticated curses were written on the nerves).
The main WoT idea generators continue to look for options for rebalancing SPGs. Previously, arta was a nightmare writing out one-shots or simply inflicting a colossal amount of damage. The damage was cut, the stun was added, but this not only did not solve the problem, but even in a certain sense aggravated the gameplay of other vehicles.
So sometimes players (especially on large and slow vehicles) they can’t even get out of the camp if 2-3 self-propelled guns fell under the focus. And besides the camp other debuffs for crew memberscontusion) and on internal modules of equipment (crits). Under such conditions the game just becomes impossible: the tank does not move, does not really shoot and FIG hits. A fight to nowhere, time wasted and it burns very badly, minus nerves.

We also provided some statistics. On average per day, one player accounts for 11% of battles on art from the total number of battles. According to the developers, this is quite a lot, but for a clearer example, we will show the number of battles for art over the past month:

And some more information for a general understanding of how many people play art against the background of the rest of the pumped equipment:
- at the 10 level 261 object takes 3rd place;
- at the 9 level M53 / M55 takes 5rd place;
- at the 8 level M40 / M43 takes 5rd place;
- at the 7 level Gw panther in 3rd place;
At lower levels, the SPG is not in the top 5, but still close enough.
Solution option
No one will completely remove the self-propelled guns, because it is needed to control the "choreography" on the battlefield (not to be standing). Therefore, it is currently being worked on server variant with special rules. For example, within a certain period of time there at all no artillery (or maybe they will make such restrictions for other classes). Against the background of the introduction of premium self-propelled guns in WoT Blitz with unique mechanics (sooner or later it may appear in large tanks), such measures look very interesting.
It would be cool if they let you choose restrictions by type, as we have already introduced a "blacklist" of cards. Block 1-2 elements and play for fun. But, unfortunately, this is unlikely.

This is information from the developers 🙂 For the experiment, they want to make a server with time limits (2 hours without art, 2 hours without land mines, etc.).
If you remove the art, you get the same counter-strike or caliber or warface, only on tracks. Besides, the next one will start to interfere with the whiners. So the game will turn into a battle of the same type of equipment, you can generally leave one MS-1. With artillery, the game has its own personality and a more realistic combat environment. By the way, the damage to allies was removed in vain - this made the game even more similar to a real battle.
Now they will introduce a server without art, then they will ask for a server without PT, then without strands. The whining will never stop.
More restrictions on the number of tank destroyers and especially aircraft should be introduced
I play on art, because the problem is with one hand, it will be unfair to remove art. I used to play on all types of tanks and quite successfully, but those who complain about art do not know how to play.
Developers 100% will not remove it. In the near future we will publish their vision of the further development of this class (this issue was also raised on the streams).
