The glowing light emanating from the wooden statue's core will both help and hinder your search for treasures and mysteries hidden within the ruins. Below, we'll show you the locations of all the chests in the area and solutions to the puzzles you'll encounter along the way.
How to open a location
Access to the territory of the destroyed university will open during the passage of the chapter "Darkness has returned to the wasteland"You'll first be able to visit the location as part of the story, and then return later to explore on your own. And while many of the chests will be accessible during the quest, "O earth, bear the suffering of all living things.", it's better to go back and completely close the map after it - this way you'll be able to collect everything in order and not miss anything.
Where to find all chests in Radiant Scar, Grove of Muses in HSR
The area's treasure layout is somewhat similar to the existing Garden of the Sages in Eternal Night. However, the locations of some reward chests and riddles will differ. You can find the following treasures on the grounds of the abandoned educational institution, where students recently studied:
- slabs of prophecy, revealing objects and passages hidden from view;
- golden fleece of absolution, giving generous prizes for finding a solution;
- thieves' spirits, stealing valuables right from under their noses;
- nymphs of creation, hiding in the most secluded corners of the location.
The area is divided into five floors:
- There are six valuable boxes on levels 4 and 3 of the map.
- On the 2nd tier you can collect nine more chests.
- There are 13 treasures left to collect on floors 1 and -1, including a secret one for "Buzzing Secrets."
Chest 1 (regular)
Start your exploration from the teleportation point Throne of AshesOnce you've reached it, look to the left—you'll see the object you need behind four small chimeras.
Chest 2 (regular)
Go down to the anchor Smoldering Butterfly and pick up the box next to it.
Chest 3 (regular)
To reach the treasure chest in the room northwest of the teleporter, possess Bartolos using the portal next to the door and absorb the required object on the platform in the center.

While still controlling the Thief's Spirit, ascend to the second level of this room. The chest is located behind the doorway to the west, near the stairs.

Stop controlling Bartholos and use the cogniflower to descend further. This will require the prayer shrine near the entrance. The shrine is next to the statue ahead.
To drain the water and open the way forward, block the pipe that's supplying the liquid during the Exploration mission. To do this, aim at it with the Thief's Spirit and hold the Spacebar.
Chest 7 (regular)
Run southwest to the elevator. The next treasure is located right behind it.
Chest 8 (regular)
Go down to the Golden Bough Hall teleporter. Climb the stairs to the second floor. You'll find the chest immediately after ascending, in front of the sculpture.
Chest 9 (valuable)
Activate the ram's head above the spatial anchor and solve the Golden Fleece of Atonement riddle.
Order of actions:: 1 right, 1 down, 3 right, 1 left, 1 right, 1 left, 5 right (DSDDDADADDDDD).
Chest 10 (regular)
Exit the building to the south and collect the reward from the container opposite the porch.
Chest 11 (regular)
Run along the tree branch to the next elevator and go down. Just below the elevator, collect your reward.
Chest 12 (regular)
Follow the corridor north until you reach the next room. The object you need is inside, to the right of the entrance.
Chest 13 (regular)
In the hall where the titan's heart used to be, in the very center of the location, find golden dart, piercing the shield. After recovery, it will stop on its way down and then fly away to teleport "Heart Wound", where you will be able to catch up with him.
Chest 14 (regular)
From the spatial anchor, run west. The treasure is lying in plain sight, next to a non-functioning elevator wheel.
Chest 15 (Valuable, Thief's Spirit)
Bartolos cleaned out Seamstress-rhapsode outpost He stole a butterfly display stand, leaving a Coin of Whimsy nearby. Find the dimensional rift in the air through which the thief escaped and return it. After a short conversation, you will receive 40 Star Jade and 60 Random Ambrosia.
Bartholos will leave behind a portal. Use it to complete the challenge of destroying the flying amphoras. You'll receive a valuable treasure chest as a reward.

Climb up to the hole punched by the giant beam. To the left of it, behind the shield, is a reward box.

Through the eastern corridor you will find yourself in a small room, in which the treasury is located against the left wall under the window.
Chest 18 (valuable)
There's a puzzle in the dead end nearby—the Slab of Prophecy. Place the pieces in their correct positions to form the desired pattern:
- Place two triangular pieces in the center to form a solid square.
- Place the rhombus on the right side of the silhouette so that its right corner forms a small triangle at the edge.
- Place a triangle with a right angle on the left on the left side of the outline.
- Use the right angle of the remaining shape to close the small diamond in the center.
Chest 19 (regular)
The elevator to the southeast will lead to anchor "Ruins of Tears"Move there and head right, toward the wall where the orange and blue chimeras are sitting. To their left is the desired object.
Chest 20 (valuable)
To find the next four chests, activate the mini-quest "Bartolos's Sorrows." The Phantom is located in the same room, near the elevator.
The quest should start automatically when you approach the spirit, but a bug may occur where the dialogue doesn't start. In this case, simply change locations. For example, take the Starlight Express and then back.
After the conversation, a portal will appear on the wall next to the elevator, through which you can switch to control it.
In the thief's body, find and block the two pipes that are flooding the room:
- The first one is ahead - after possessing a ghost, fly over the water and shoot it with bubble attacks.
- The second one is under the elevator - when the water level drops, fly into a small room under the elevator, from where you can hear the sound of water.
Continue controlling the thief spirit to shoot three amphoras and obtain quirk coins:
- Look for the first one under the ceiling of the room - it flies in circles, periodically flying through the arches.
- The second one is in the corridor under the stairs - it flies back and forth without leaving it.
- The third one is stuck in the boxes—use a bubble attack to break the right side of the cube, causing a glowing drop to roll out and break the barrier. The coin will be collected automatically.
At this point, you can disconnect from Bartholos and complete his quest later.
The reward for collecting coins will appear next to the portal.
Chest 21 (regular)
Go down the opened stairs and take the resources from the chest on the wooden box.
Chest 22 (regular)
Go down the stairs even further. Where the breakable boxes were, you can now grab some resources.
Chest 23 (regular)
Run forward through the arch under the stairs where the amphora used to fly and take the chest with rewards standing there.
Chest 24 (valuable)
Follow the same corridor to the southeast corner, where the Golden Fleece of Sacrifice is marked on the map.
Order of actions:: 2 right, 2 left, 5 right, 3 left, 3 right, 2 left, 1 right, 2 left, 4 right (DDAADDDDDAAADDDAADAAD-DDD).
Chest 25 (regular)
Open the iron gates ahead and take another treasure chest right behind them.
Chest 26 (regular)
Return to the upper level of this hall and open the doors in the southeast wall. The chest containing the jade is right behind them.
Chest 27 (regular)
Continue along this path to the other side of the beam hole. Turn around the stairs to find the next chest.
Chest 28 (regular)
From the previous point, climb up the western stairs. The next treasure is on the balcony in the area with the hostile memory spirits.
Chest 29 (valuable)
A little further in the corner there is a ram's skull with a reward for solving the "Golden Fleece".

Use the secret path or simply teleport to get to the teleportation point Heart of RocksThere's a Whimsy Coin floating around nearby, left by the purple thief. Approach it and find the gap in the air above the cliff through which he escaped.
After a short dialogue you will receive 40 Star Jades and 60 Random AmbrosiaBartholos will disappear, but he'll leave behind a portal to control the phantom. Use it to trigger a minigame where you shoot down flying amphoras.
As part of the challenge, destroy 15 pigs circling the spatial anchor. Once the task is completed, collect your reward.

Run south to the circular area with the elevator. The crate is in plain sight against the wall behind the elevator platform.

In the niche by the overgrown door lies another "Rune of Scapegoat" skull. Activate it to solve the puzzle.

Chest 33 (regular)
Take the elevator down in the center of the area. The final crate in this area is on the side of the elevator shaft, on the -1 floor.
Chest 34 (luxury)
An additional treasure chest will appear near the local Seamstress after collecting the Nymphs of Creation and Solution "Buzzing Secrets".
Rewards
By opening treasure chests in the Radiant Scar of the Grove of Muses, you'll receive a certain number of rewards in Honkai: Star Rail, the size and variety of which depend on their rarity. Common, Rare, and Luxurious chests contain:
