Xueyi in HSR is a judge of the Ten-Lords Commission from Luofu Xianzhou, who is an extremely versatile DPS-oriented character. The distinctive feature is embedded in the heroine's mechanics, which allow her to try on different builds - through acceleration of critical indicators, or through increasing the effectiveness of break. In the latter case, the rotation is mainly based on the constant activation of a ultimate that ignores the types of vulnerabilities of enemy targets and quickly depletes enemies' toughness bars.
Thus, the girl is able to take one of two possible positions in the team - the main damage dealer, whose main abilities are her skill and ultimate, or a secondary DPS support, playing off the ultimate and bonus attacks tied to Karma charges.

Hero's story
Xueyi is one of the judges of the Ten-Lord Commission of Luofu Xianzhou, responsible for finding criminals. Many years after her death, she came back to life, haunting a puppet body to fulfill her mission. Tireless and emotionless, with a chain and Marasunder Awl in hand, she pursues criminals, and every enemy she chains allows her to gain half a day of life.
As a human, she was influenced by Mara and did many terrible things. However, the Commission allowed her to atone for her sins by hiring her as a worker. This is how she received a new body, as the girl's true flesh had long since turned to dust. Has a clear bond with her younger sister Hanya, which now also carries out karmic judgment.
The sisters' most vivid memories are shown in the light cones "Under the Blue Sky" and "Return to Darkness." The first weapon depicts their childhood, when "they still had smiles on their faces." The second is the moment the real Xueyi died and the most pivotal moment in Hanya's life.

How Xueyi's skills work

As a follower of the Path of Destruction, the Ten-Lord Commission Judge's skills focus on single and multiple target destruction. She specializes in reducing enemy toughness to increase damage output. In addition, the puppet girl can perform bonus attacks after repeatedly depleting the stamina of her targets.
Active skills
"Summary Execution" technique | Explosive Attack
Performs a strike and deals quantum damage equal to 80% of ATK to all targets at the start of combat.
Basic Attack "Mara-Sunder Awl" | Single Attack
Deals quantum damage equal to 50-130% of ATK to the selected target.
Deals small damage to one target. Adds 1 level of Karma status, if the target has a quantum vulnerability.
Skill "Iniquity Obliteration" | Explosive Attack
Deals quantum damage to the selected target equal to 70-175% of ATK, and quantum damage to adjacent enemies equal to 35-87% of ATK.
Deals damage to one enemy and minor damage to nearby targets. Gives up to 4 levels of Karma status, if the opponents have a quantum vulnerability.
Super Ability "Divine Castigation" | Single Attack | Energy: 120
Deals quantum damage to the selected target equal to 150-300% of ATK. This strike ignores vulnerability types and depletes stamina. Destroying a vulnerability applies the effect of breaking quantum vulnerability. The more stamina is depleted, the higher the final damage (maximum 36-72%).
Deals a lot of quantum damage to one enemy, reducing toughness, regardless of their vulnerability type. The more the white bar is reduced, the more damage will be. Has one of the highest break rates of 120 (at the level of enhanced strike of the Imbibitor) and always adds 4 Levels of Karma.
Passive Skills
Talent "Karmic Perpetuation" | Bounce
Depending on the enemy's depleted toughness, Hanya's older sister gains Karma levels (maximum 8). Also, 1 level is given for reducing toughness by one of the other party members. When Karma is maxed out, the puppet girl immediately performs a bonus attack that deals quantum damage equal to 45% of ATK to random victims 3 times. This bonus attack does not add Karma levels.
When the Ten-Lord Commission Judge or allies reduce the enemy's toughness, Karma levels are accumulated. When reaching the maximum stage, a bonus attack will be immediately performed that deals minor damage, bounces 3 times, and consumes all Karma. 1 level of Karma status is given for every 30 point of break.
Leveling Order
Skill ≥ Talent ≥ Superpower > Basic Attack
All abilities of Hanya's elder sister, except for basic attack, are recommended to be leveled evenly, at least to 8. If the required amount of resources is not available, you can adhere to the following order:
- Skill - provides up to 4 levels of Karma, is used quite often (if the heroine is a main DD, then almost every turn), spreads to several opponents. Up to E2 is more relevant than talent.
- Talent – when the enemy’s toughness decreases, it gives levels of Karma status, which allows you to carry out a bonus attack. Becomes one of the main sources of DPS after receiving the last Eidolon.
- Ultimate - has one of the highest multipliers among the heroine's skills and deals a large amount of damage. Does not depend on vulnerabilities, but focuses on only one enemy target.
- Basic attack – Rarely used, as it only gives 1 level of Karma and has the lowest multiplier. Mainly used to restore action points.
Traces
General increase in characteristics:
- Break effect - + 29.3 %
- HP - + 18 %
- Quantum damage - + 8 %
| Break effect +5,3% (level 1) | |||
| Clairvoyant Loom: damage dealt is increased by 100% of break to a maximum of 240%. (A2) | HP +4% (A2) | Break effect +5,3% (A3) | Quantum Dmg +3,2% (A3) |
| Intrepid Rollerbearings: If the target's toughness is greater than or equal to 50% of their max toughness, the ultimate deals 10% more damage. (A4) | Break effect +8% (A4) | HP +6% (A5) | Break effect +8% (A5) |
| Perspicacious Mainframe: Karma can be stacked up to 6 levels, the status levels added after this limit are saved. After activating the talent, the puppet girl gets the corresponding number of saved Karma levels. (A6) | Quantum Dmg +4,8% (A6) | HP +8% (lvl 75) | Break effect +10,7% (level 80) |
The Perspicacious Mainframe trance allows you to accumulate Karma status stages beyond the set limit. Let's say the E0 heroine currently has 6 levels and uses her ultimate - it turns out to be 10 stacks, although only 8 are needed. In this case, the 2 "extra" levels will not disappear, but will be transferred to the next time. In other words, in order for the bonus attack to work later, it will take not 8, but only 6 levels.
Eidolons
All consts:
| number | Name | Effects |
| 1 | Dvesha, Inhibited | Increases the damage of the talent's bonus hit by 40%. |
| 2 | Klesha, Breached | The talent's bonus attack drains toughness regardless of the victim's vulnerability type, and also restores 5% HP. Destroying a vulnerability applies Quantum Break. |
| 3 | Duḥkha, Ceased | Skill level +2. Max lvl - 15. Basic attack skill level +1. Max lvl - 10. |
| 4 | Karma, Severed | After using the ultimate, break effect increases by 40% for 2 turns. |
| 5 | Deva, Enthralled | Superpower level +2. Talent level +2. Max lvl - 15. |
| 6 | Saṃsāra, Mastered | The maximum number of Karma status levels is reduced to 6. |
Xueya's best eidolons are:
- E2 - Allows you to drain stamina with a bonus hit, regardless of what element they are weak to, and also provides survivability through healing. This is a strong eidolon that increases the effectiveness and damage of the talent.
- E4 - another enhancement that reduces the requirement for the required break effect after using the ultimate. The Eidolon will increase the character's overall DPS, allowing you to focus on other stats.
- E6 - Speeds up the activation of the talent due to the fact that the bonus attack is triggered upon reaching 6 levels of Karma (previously 8). This allows you to not only gain stacks faster, but also use the bonus attack much more often.
How to Play Xueyi in HSR
The principle of playing the judge of the Ten-Lord Commission is to consistently use DPS skills and reduce the toughness of victims, which allows you to gain levels Karma status, which activates a bonus attack on random targets. In order for this blow to work, you need to get the maximum 8 levels (on the last eidolon - 6):
- Basic attack - 1 level.
- Skill – 4 levels if there are 3 or more monsters; 3 levels if there are 2; 2 levels if there is only 1 enemy.
- Superpower - 4 levels.
Allies also help to gain stacks. In this case, only 1 level is always given, so it does not matter how effectively they break - the main thing is to do it more often. At the same time, the decrease in toughness also affects the ult. In particular, the more toughness is removed, the more damage the ult deals, which also ignores any type of vulnerability.
The ultimate goal is not only to gain Karma levels to perform a bonus hit, but also to break through weakness with the ult or other skills. Thanks to the "Clairvoyant Loom" trace, damage increases by 100% of break effect. Therefore, it is beneficial for the character to play from break, since this has a positive effect on both the overall DPS and the damage from Quantum Break.
Xueyi's rotation is as follows:
- Use the techniques of characters of the Paths of Harmony, Abundance, Preservation or Nihility to ensure that all allies are strengthened and protected at the beginning of the battle. If the selected targets have a weakness to the quantum element, use the technique and enter the battle to immediately gain 2 levels of Karma.
- If the heroine is a main DD, use the skill to get an additional 2 or 4 stacks. If she is a sub DD, you can also use this skill or basic attack depending on the situation. In the case of basic attack, you will get 1 level.
- When the rest of the team enters the battlefield, always target those who are weak to their element if possible. This is necessary to obtain Status Level 1.
- Continue using the skill or basic attack until you have enough energy or Karma levels. Under certain circumstances, a bonus attack may trigger before the ult, which will also allow you to fill the energy bar faster.
- Once the ultimate is charged, use it on the target whose stamina is drained the most to deal more damage and gain 4 levels. Provided there are no such victims, you can use the ultimate on any target.
- Remember that the ultimate works against any vulnerability, so try to activate it on an enemy without quantum resistance. While the skill and basic attack, on the contrary, concentrate only on monsters with a weakness to quantum. This will allow you to get the maximum levels.
Even if Karma levels go into excess, they do not disappear, but are postponed for the next time (up to 6 stacks). However, this option only appears when you open the third trace Perspicacious Mainframe.

Strengths and Weaknesses
Let's take a closer look at the strengths and weaknesses of the puppet girl:
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| High DPS vs. bosses and elite monsters. All skills are primarily focused on killing single targets. Although she can hit in an area, the blows only affect the closest victims. | Weak AoE damage. The only sources of area damage are skill and talent bonus hit. However, even in this case, DPS does not reach all monsters. |
| Effective in breaking through vulnerabilities. Able to reduce the white toughness bar with an ultimate or a bonus attack of the talent (if the second eidolon is open), even if the enemy does not initially have a weakness to the quantum element. | Demanding in leveling. Being a damage dealer, she needs ATK, crits and speed, but due to the mechanics, the need for a break effect is also added to this. |
| Flexible play style. Can act as both a primary damage dealer and a secondary DD, helping to restore action points basic attack or using an off-turn strike due to talent. | Low damage multipliers in skills. In a vacuum, all abilities are quite weak. The solution to this problem is to level up stats, as well as unlock the "Clairvoyant Loom" trace. |
| Competitiveness. With sufficient investment in equipment, stats and eidolons, he is on par with many legendary characters even in the later stages of the game, especially with support from supports. | For a comfortable game you need E2 and E6. Without the listed eidolons, not only the character’s overall DPS sags, but it also becomes more difficult to gain Karma levels and restore energy. |
| Built-in damage bonuses. Despite the low numbers (scaling) in abilities, she can independently "accelerate" her damage thanks to the enhancements contained in the traces and ult. | Depends on the team. Karma status levels for the bonus hit to trigger are difficult to obtain without the help of allies. Moreover, enemies must have a weakness to the elements of the team members. |
Best Xueyi Builds in Honkai: Star Rail
The Judge of the Ten-Lord Commission specializes in dealing damage through Quantum Break, skills, and Bonus Strike. She can act as a primary or secondary DPS depending on her preferred playstyle: as a main DPS, she relies on her own damage and buffs from her allies, as a sub DPS, she helps other DPS players.
The best Xueyi build in HSR should be based on the following characteristics:
- Speed. One of the most important stats not only for fulfilling the passive condition for the Talia planar ornaments, but also for a sufficient number of turns. It is important to perform actions as often as possible to break through the weakness of a potential victim.
- Break effect. A Link Rope with this property is equivalent to two Planar Spheres for quantum damage due to the bonus from the "Clairvoyant Loom" trace. Additionally, Quantum is one of the strongest vulnerability break effects and will increase DPS in any case.
- ATK. Usually, damage dealers have a harder time finding a bonus to increase damage and therefore it is more significant, while ATK is in abundance. In the case of the puppet girl, on the contrary, percentage damage is presented in large quantities, but ATK is quite small.
- crit dmg/crit rate. Although the heroine deals a lot of damage with break, as in the case of ATK, classic DPS stats remain an important source of improving damage. Hanya's older sister in any case crushes enemies not only with break, but also with simple blows.
Thus, to balance the stats, it is optimal to use an ATK sphere, and a break rope. Another option is the ATK body. However, this is relevant only if the crits have reached optimal values, and the relic with ATK is more profitable in terms of stats.
Recommended Stats
Priority main stats in relics:
| Relic | Main characteristic |
| Head | HP (fixed) |
| Hands | ATK (constant) |
| Body | crit dmg or crit rate – priority / ATK – situational |
| Boots | Speed |
| Planar Sphere | ATK |
| Link Rope | Break effect |
Auxiliary (lower) characteristics:
- Break effect.
- crit dmg or crit rate
- ATK.
- Speed.
- HP, defense, effect resistance – optional.
Optimal final stat values:
- ATK: 2+.
- Speed: 134+ or from 145+, if the Talia planar ornaments are equipped.
- Break effect: 100-150% and more.
- HP: 3+.
- DEF: 800-900+.
- Energy recharge: 100% and more
- Crit. damage/crit. chance: 60% critical hit chance accounts for 120% critical damage. In the main DD position, crits are worth paying more attention to, since in this case, the puppet girl is the main DPS team in the team.
Light Cone Rating
The weapon has to belong to the Path of Destruction and increase the following parameters: ATK, crit dmg and crit rate, damage. The most suitable light cones are listed in the table.
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 18-396 | When the wielder attacks, the weapon increases its attack power by | The best light cone for the puppet girl, no matter what role she plays. Can be obtained and awakened for free, easy to activate the passive effect even if the monsters do not have quantum vulnerability (ult and E2), increases ATK, which helps balance the characteristics. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 21-476 DEF 12-264 | Using a basic attack, skill, or ult grants one level of Mischief. Each level increases attack power by | Excellent budget weapon on ATK with a simple condition. To get the maximum possible bonus, you need to use basic attack, skill or ultimate, thereby accumulating stacks. Thanks to its availability and efficiency, it is suitable for any build. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | Increases the wearer's attack power by 16-32%. After defeating the enemy, crit. owner's chance is increased by 12-24% for 3 turns. | Weapon with a bonus to ATK and crit rate. If the attack is given on a permanent basis, then the main requirement for obtaining a critical chance is that you need to destroy victims every 3 turns. The position is due to the reliable fulfillment of the passive requirement - otherwise the cone sags significantly. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 24-529 DEF 12-264 | Increases the wearer's attack power by | The ATK bonus is interesting, reaching 5% on S48. The additional bonus of HP recovery can be useful, since Hanya's older sister has a pretty good taunt stat, but the previous epic weapons are more profitable, not to mention the "card" from the Simulated Universe. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 22-476 DEF 15-331 | Break effect is increased by 28-56%. When the owner uses an ult, their crit. chance increases by 15-30% for 2 turns. | If you are unable to gain a sufficient value of break effect through the Cavern Relics, you can equip this Light Cone. In addition, the "card" will provide the heroine with an increase in critical chance for several turns after using the ultimate. However, it should be taken into account that the lack of effects to increase ATK must be compensated for through relics. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 28-635 DEF 18-396 | Increases the owner's crit. chance by 18-30%. When the bearer uses a basic attack, he gains 1 lvl. Dragon's Call status for 2 turns. Each status level of Dragon's Call increases the wearer's attack power by 18-30% and energy recovery rate by 6-10%. The Dragon's Call status can stack up to 2 times. | The highest basic attack among legendary weapons, a good increase in critical damage. The passive that gives ATK and energy recovery is quite difficult to implement, since the Ten-Lord Commission Judge does not use basic attack that often - she prefers to use the skill to reduce the resistance of a potential victim. The cone becomes more viable in a team with Bronya due to rotation Basic attack - Bronya - Skill. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 26-582 DEF 21-463 | The enemy is more likely to attack a hero equipped with a weapon. The owner's critical damage is increased by 36-60%, and after activating the ult, he acquires 1 level of the Fire Dance status. The effect lasts 2 turns and can stack up to 2 times. Each level of the Fire Dance status allows the wearer's bonus attacks to hit 36-60% more damage. | Increasing the chance to be attacked allows you to gain energy faster to perform the ultimate, but at the same time, survivability will decrease. The weapon will increase the puppet girl's critical damage and make bonus hits stronger, but will not provide a significant increase to ATK. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 52-1164 ATK 26-582 DEF 18-396 | Increases attack power by | Always provides ATK, and under certain conditions restores health and damage. The second part of the passive effect is quite unreliable, since it is necessary to defeat the target or get hit, while the base stats practically do not compensate for this. S3 awakening is recommended. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 57-1270 ATK 26-582 DEF 15-330 | Owner's crit chance is increased by 18-30%, and their max. HP by 18-30%. Whenever the wearer receives an attack or spends health, their damage is increased by 24-40%. This effect is removed after the owner uses an attack. | While the passive bonus isn't as easy to implement as other limited weapons, the HP and crit chance boost will make the Ten-Lord Commission Judge more resilient and easier to pick crit stats for. If she does take damage or lose health, the weapon will open up even more, but it will require playing without shields. |
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 52-1164 ATK 26-582 DEF 18-396 | Increases crit. damage by 20-32%. When an ally is attacked or uses up HP, the owner gains 1 lvl. Lunar Eclipse status. Maximum - 3. Each stack increases the damage of the next attack by 14-24%. Reaching 3 status levels will allow this attack to be ignored 12-20% enemy defense. After performing an attack, all levels are reset. | Another cone with nice bonuses, but a rather situational passive. Increases crit dmg, and also buffs all DPS and allows you to ignore monster defense. The latter buffs are given only when allies take damage, so it is best used in a team with heroes who have high taunt. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 21-476 DEF 12-264 | Increases wearer's damage by | The cone provides a percentage increase in damage, which has a greater impact on DPS, but the puppet girl already has quite a few bonuses to damage, so ATK is more beneficial from a balance point of view. However, the weapon is still strong, especially if the condition is met and the heroine attacks an enemy with lower HP than her. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | Increases ATK by 10-20%, also increases damage dealt to Burn and Bleed enemies by 16-32%. This effect also applies to damage over time. | A good free weapon. Gives ATK and increases all DPS if enemies are under Burn or Bleed. The difficulty is in the narrow focus of the second half of the passive, which works exclusively in a team with characters capable of imposing the corresponding effects. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 16-370 DEF 9-198 | Increases the damage of the basic attack and skill of the owner by | A good starting cone that can be equipped for the first time. Increases damage basic attack and skill. If the normal strike is not performed so often, then the skill is one of the main sources of damage, which is necessary to destroy enemy toughness. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 16-370 DEF 9-198 | The owner's damage dealt to enemies whose HP is above 50% is increased by 20-40%. | Another 3-star weapon that is good for beginners until they can get the cones discussed above. The bonus is less constant, as it only increases damage if the victim's health is above half, but it applies to all skills. |
What relics and ornaments are needed
Relics should provide the heroine with ATK, elemental damage bonus, break and crits. Recommended sets of cavern relics and planar ornaments are discussed in the tables.
Cavern relics
| Name | Effects | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 parts: Increases quantum damage by 10%. 4 parts: When the owner deals damage to the selected enemy, ignores 10% defense. If the target enemy has a Quantum Weakness, the wearer ignores an additional 10% Defense. | A great set of relics. Suitable for enemies with and without quantum vulnerability, since Hanya's older sister always drains toughness with her ultimate and bonus attack on E2. However, the main advantage of the set is the cut of monsters' defense, which will also significantly increase DPS. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases break effect by 16%. 4 parts: Break damage ignores 10% of the target's defense if the break effect is equal to or greater than 150%. When the pierce effect exceeds 250%, the wearer's super pierce damage ignores the additional 15% defense. | The set will help to get the optimal value of the break effect and will make its break stronger by ignoring the target's defense. The heroine needs to balance this parameter with crit. chance and damage, so achieving the maximum disclosure of the bonus will only be possible in certain modes and together with the imaginary MC, but even so the set is not bad. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases break effect by 16%. 4 parts: Increases break effect by 16%. Restores 3 energy after breaking the target's vulnerability. | Since the Puppet Girl relies on the break effect, this set also fits her very well. It will allow you to focus on other stats and provide an increase in all damage, since the break rate affects the buff from the "Clairvoyant Loom" trace. Additionally, it will help in restoring energy. |
![]() ![]() | 2 Piece: Increases break effect by 16%. 2 parts: Increases quantum damage by 10%. 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. 2 parts: Increases damage dealt to enemies with Debuffs by 12%. | An excellent combination of relics with the highest priority bonuses for the heroine. If there are parts with good support stats, the discussed combinations with the Thief can be a decent option. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases damage dealt to enemies with Debuffs by 12%. 4 parts: Increases crit. 4% chance. The owner's crit damage dealt to enemies with at least 2/3 debuffs increases by 8%/12% respectively. After the owner applies a Debuff to an enemy, the above effects are increased by 100% for 1 turn. | A strong set of relics that requires hitting victims with debuffs, otherwise none of the bonuses will work. Gives an increase in damage and crit rate, and with enough debuffs also increases crit dmg |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. 4 parts: Increases crit. chance by 6%. After the owner performs a bonus attack, the damage of his ult increases by 30%. This effect lasts for 1 turn. | The set can be implemented with the last eidolon and sufficient energy recovery to gain bonus hits faster. The set will significantly enhance the ult of the judge of the Ten-Lord Commission and will be useful in many situations. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases ATK by 12%. 4 parts: Increases the wearer's speed by 6% and their basic attack damage by 10%. | Allows you to achieve optimal speed without investing in sub-stats and offers ATK, which is a useful stat for Hanya's older sister. Easy to obtain (drops from Caverns of Corrosion, chests, bosses) and versatile, but not as good as the previous alternatives. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases bonus attack damage by 20%. 4 parts: When the wearer deals damage with a bonus attack, their attack power is increased by 6%. This effect can stack up to 8 times and lasts for 3 turns. The effect is removed the next time you use a bonus attack. | Considering that the puppet girl uses a bonus attack, this is a completely acceptable option. In addition to increasing damage, it also provides a good increase in ATK. It is more effective against enemies weak to the quantum element (up to E2), but even in this case, the Genius will be better. |
Planar ornaments
| Name | Effects | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 parts: Increases break effect by 16%. If the owner's speed is greater than or equal to 145, then his break effect increases by an additional 20%. | Increases break effect, and therefore the entire DPS. With high speed, it gives 36% bonus damage, while simultaneously increasing the damage from "Binding". If the speed is below 145, it is better to consider other options, although this ornaments is the "ceiling" of the character. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. If the owner's speed is higher than or equal to 135/160, then the damage they deal increases by 12%/18%. | A set that increases ATK and damage dealt. Although even at the minimum required speed threshold, the ornaments is still quite effective, if you want to get the maximum benefit from using it, you will need to reach 160 speed. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. When speed reaches 120 or higher, attack power increases by an additional 12%. | The set offers a significant ATK boost of 24%. It is also easy to obtain and implement, as it only requires 120 Haste. If you fail to reach 160 for Glamoth, Space Sealing Station becomes better. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases crit. 8% chance. When the crit chance reaches 50% or higher, the damage of your super and bonus attacks is increased by 15%. | A good planar set that increases crit chance, as well as ultimate damage and attack bonus if crit chance is greater than 50%. An acceptable alternative in the absence of other sets with useful bonuses that will positively affect the final damage. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases crit. 8% chance. If critical The owner's chance is 70% (or higher), the damage of his basic attack and skill is increased by 20%. | Another set with a crit chance. Loses to Salsotto due to the fact that it has a stricter requirement for Crit Rate and less beneficial buffs. For example, basic attack is almost never used in the heroine's rotation, which means the passive effect will no longer be realized to the maximum. |
Team Guide for Xueyi in HSR
In a team, Xueyi plays the role of a primary or secondary DD. In the first case, the team is built around her: suitable supports of the Path of Harmony and/or Nihility are needed. In the second case, she becomes part of a team with two damage dealers, where she plays a supporting role.
It is important to consider how actively allies reduce the monsters' durability in order to gain Karma levels to trigger the bonus attack. Ideally, the heroine's team should be composed in such a way that each unit can break the weakness of at least one victim (preferably several).
Which characters are suitable?
The table shows the best partners for the judge of the Ten-Lord Commission:
| Character | Path | Damage type | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Summons Numby who deals fire damage with a bonus attack, thus repeatedly breaking the weakness of monsters. Unleashes the talent of the Puppet Girl, increasing the DPS of her own bonus attack. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Acts as the main DPS character, therefore, the judge of the Ten-Lord Commission will be assigned the role of an additional damage dealer. An important nuance, in turn, is that Ratio is in dire need of characters capable of maintaining debuffs on victims (from 2 and more). Therefore, the team will have to be built in such a way that the scientist does not experience a serious need for negative statuses, and the overall contribution of the mechanical heroine does not sag due to a lack of third-party support in the form of buffs. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Can gain several levels of Karma status for Hanya's elder sister in one turn. Demanding of action points, so the Ten-Lord Commission judge mainly relies on basic attack. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A strong damage dealer with high damage on one target. The mechanical heroine will perfectly complement his team as a secondary DD. In turn, Boothill specializes in break and does it quite successfully, which will help in obtaining Karma stacks. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Arbiter General excels at dealing with tanky enemies, relying on the bonus attack that comes with her talent, skill, and ultimate. She also synergizes well with heroes that can deal additional damage, allowing her to stack Flying Aureus for her ultimate. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Breaks the toughness of one victim due to skills and a bonus hit that is triggered during Soulsteel Sync. Due to the first trace, also deals damage to targets with weakness to the ice element. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Can make up for the damage gap when monsters are broken. Effectively drains the stamina of one enemy target with a skill due to Sword Stance, which deals additional physical damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A secondary damage dealer who applies the "Shifu" buff to a selected ally using his skill. Does decent damage and can easily serve as the main combat unit in a team. Additionally, she boosts herself by advancing the action and increasing outgoing damage. With the acquisition of Eidolons, she gains mechanics tied to bonus attacks. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Copes well with a group of enemies. Thanks to AoE attacks and an enhanced ultimate, will help you reach 6 stacks of Karma at once if the victim has a weakness to the physical element. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Summons a Lightning Lord that deals multiple lightning bonus strikes. Attacks in an area and constantly reduces the targets' toughness with all active abilities. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Breaks fire weakness of all enemies on the battlefield using a skill, ultimate, and bonus attack. Can inflict the Burn status, which deals damage over time. |
![]() | ![]() | Ninja from the Galactic Rangers faction plays from break and specializes in depleting toughness. At the same time, she deals massive damage to all monsters on the battlefield on a stable basis with the help of enhanced basic attack received from the ultimate. The puppet girl will help her accumulate talent charges, additionally breaking the weakness of potential victims. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A secondary DPS unit that prefers to fight against groups of monsters: the number of enemies on the battlefield directly affects the rate at which charge levels accumulate, which allows for a bonus strike. The skill assigns an allied character as a "Debt Collector", which additionally increases their speed by 30. When the "Debt Collector" strikes, they deal quantum damage to each mob hit, equal to Jade's ATK. In doing so, the "Debt Collector" spends 2% of their max HP. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | An AoE damage dealer that relies on the Shock status. Enemies under this debuff receive damage every turn, as well as additional damage due to the Serval talent. |

![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Can act as a sub-DD for the Ten-Lord Judge's monoquantum team (or in another build). Has AoE abilities and effectively breaks vulnerability with the help of the enhanced basic attack and ultimate. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | One of the best supports for Hanya's older sister. Increases the effectiveness and effect of break, speed and damage dealt. Can increase damage to toughtness by 1,5 times, allowing you to activate a bonus attack faster (for example, using the ult gives 6 levels of Karma instead of 4). Although these are strong bonuses, Ruan Mei also delays enemies, which means you will have to wait longer for toughness to recover. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A representative of the highest tier of Harmony, whose skills are aimed at increasing outgoing damage, crit dmg and ATK. When using the ultimate, it moves the action of all party members forward. The "Impromptu Flourish" trace increases the critical damage of bonus hits, which makes Robin the best support for characters that play from this mechanic. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The main advantage of Sparkle is not only the increase in crit dmg, but also the overall outgoing damage. The Fool in the mask directly affects the increase in the number of skill points used during the battle, and also contributes to their accelerated recovery. In addition, due to the trace, she offers increases to ATK for quantum characters |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Increases ATK and crit dmg with the ult, and with the skill moves the action forward by 100% and removes the debuff. Especially relevant for the puppet girl with insufficiently high speed. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Is a universal support hero, increasing break of all types and DPS. Optimally suited for destroying a group of monsters due to the features of her mechanics and area damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The "Break Effect" characteristic buffer will help the Ten-Lord Commission judge gain a sufficient value for the parameter directly during the battle. The hero's mechanics consist of increasing damage to enemies in a state of broken weakness, which will increase the heroine's damage and speed up the passage of combat content. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The puppet girl's younger sister is also a great ally for her. Provides bonuses to ATK and speed. Helps restore action points, allowing you to use the skill every turn. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Provides the team with an increase in ATK, Crit rate and dmg. Capable of inflicting additional imaginary damage with her talent and ultimate on one target. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Restores energy for more frequent use of ult. In addition, increases ATK and damage. |

![]() | ![]() | Fits perfectly into the team, as she offers increased break and the ability to drain stamina almost constantly, and also deals decent damage on her own, ignoring the weaknesses of potential victims and thus helping to gain Karma stacks. In addition, reduces the defense of targets. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A powerful representative of the Nihility, whose skills are aimed at imposing the debuff "Ashen Roast" (considered a DoT status "Burn", which deals periodic fire damage). Enemies under the influence of "Ashen Roast" receive increased damage. The ultimate, in turn, deals high damage, and also imposes a third-party debuff that increases the damage taken by enemies from ultimate DPS-type skills. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Removes buffs from one enemy with a skill, lowers the defense of all enemy targets on the battlefield with an ultimate and at the same time deals ice damage to them. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Capable of hitting a single mob multiple times with skills and the Bleed status, gaining levels for the puppet girl. At the same time, it increases the damage taken by the target with the ultimate. |

![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Has a certain chance of imposing a negative DoT effect Wind Shear on any attacks. Deals damage to multiple targets with a skill and ultimate. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Explosive Strike allows you to damage several enemies by applying Burn to one of them (from E4 to all selected targets). Also, due to the additional energy recovery, the ult is quite often used. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Thanks to the enhanced strike, it depletes the defense of one victim and those closest to him. The ultimate, which spreads to 3 mobs, works in a similar way. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Causes enemies to be vulnerable to fire, while reducing resistance in the area well. Thanks to built-in speed boosts, he makes many moves. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Increases its DPS depending on the health lost. Damages multiple targets without with Forest of Swords. Performs a bonus strike that deals damage to all mobs. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | In Spectral Transmigration state, deals a lot of ice damage to multiple enemy targets. Doesn't consume many action points, so can act as a main DD or sub-DD. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Helps gain Karma levels with constant counterattacks that are triggered when enemies damage Clara under Svarog's mark. Counterattacks are also activated after attacking party members if the ult was used. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Like Clara, she focuses on constantly performing a counterattack, which allows her to break weakness. To do this, she only needs to receive enemy attacks in a normal state or during the action of the ultimate. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The ultimate spreads Lightning damage across multiple enemies. At the same time, his skill does not consume action points, allowing him to effectively reduce the resistance of mobs, as well as restore energy faster. |

![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Creates a Magic Circle, in which allies restore their health with any blows. Deals imaginary damage to the area with the ult, while removing a buff from each enemy. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A support with a variety of functions: heals, deals damage in an area and applies a debuff that increases break damage. During combat, summons an assistant, which is a bonus attack. Due to this creature, additionally heals, damages out of turn and removes debuffs. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Heals several team members with the skill and all characters with the ultimate. Thanks to the applied status, Invigorate can resurrect fallen allies once per battle. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Has skills with instant and periodic healing. Her Ult removes one debuff from everyone. Skill increases the probability of being attacked if the unit belongs to the Path of Destruction or Preservation. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Granted with direct, mass and periodic healing, and can also restore health in a critical situation. The main source of regeneration is the Besotted effect applied by the healer, which increases break damage and restores HP for hits against opponents with status. |

In addition to providing defensive functions, helps the team as a DD. The ideal team for the character is a cooperation of several heroes who can perform bonus attacks. He is also good in other groups, but performs bonus attacks a little less often. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Excellent tank with buffer and sub-DD functionality. Redirects part of incoming damage to herself, increases HP and crit rate with skill. Super ability deals quantum damage in an area. |

Best team samples
With the heroes discussed above, you can create the following teams for Hanya's older sister:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A team with two Path of Harmony representatives who focus on buffing the puppet girl. Tingyun increases ATK and helps with energy/Bronya advances the action, increases crit. damage. Hanya restores action points so that both supports and her older sister can use their skills. Huohuo is a great healer, but she can be replaced with another healer. | |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | An alternative team with the Ten-Lord Judge as the main damage dealer, but instead of Path of Harmony supports, it is assisted by the debuffers of Nihility. Some of the best contenders for these positions are Silver Wolf (creates vulnerabilities to the quantum element, applies various debuffs) and Cipher (increases the damage done by allies). Gepard and March 7 support the survivability of the group. | ||
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A combination of Path of Harmony and Nihility. Pela weakens monsters and deals ice damage to the area. Yukong increases Crit dmg, crit rate and ATK. Bailu is engaged in healing, basic attack can reduce the toughness of an enemy with Lightning vulnerability, helping the puppet girl to gain Karma. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Monoquantum team. Hanya's older sister is the main DD. Silver Wolf is a support debuffer, applies debuffs and creates vulnerability to the quantum element. Qingque or Cifer is a secondary damage dealer. Lynx heals and removes debuffs from all team members with her ultimate. | |
![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | An expensive but strong enough team. Bronya allows the Ten-Lord Commission Judge to perform actions more often, increases her attack power and crit damage. Ruan Mei additionally increases ATK, speed, efficiency and break effect, helping to gain Karma levels. Fugue or the Imaginary MC cannot fully replace Ruan Mei, but will increase break in her absence. Fu Xuan tanks, deals damage with a basic attack and ult (can be replaced with Aventurine). Bronya can also be replaced with Silver Wolf or Sparkle: the first is aimed at imposing debuffs, and the second is a more versatile support team for quantum-type characters. | |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | A group that plays through bonus attacks. The puppet girl can be either a main DD or a sub-DD. Any team that uses bonus attacks will do as an additional damage dealer, for example, Jing Yuan, Yunli, Clara or Feixiao. Topaz similarly deals damage and at the same time increases the damage received by enemies from bonus attacks. A healer who works with bonus attacks is a good fit for the healer slot. | |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | A team consisting of two damage dealers: the Ten-Lord Commission Judge and Firefly/Rappa. The ideal support role in this case is Ruan Mei, Fugue, or Asta, since their buffs are distributed to all party members. In particular, Ruan Mei and Fugue will bring great benefits due to the increased break effect and other useful buffs. The last position is suitable for Lingsha or Gallagher. | |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | A team with Seele, who acts as the main DPS character. The puppet girl helps with additional damage, including a bonus attack. Hanya guards skill points, allowing not only Seele but also her sister to use the skill more often. Fu Xuan redirects some of the threats to herself and provides additional buffs to HP and crit. chance. Hanya can be replaced with Silver Wolf to create another variation of the monoquantum team. | |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | Team with Argenti, who deals physical DPS in the area and can easily gain levels of Karma status to trigger the bonus attack of the elder sister Hanya. She, in turn, helps with additional damage, penetrates any vulnerabilities with an ultimate. Tingyun increases ATK and restores energy to one of the damage dealers / Tribbie increases break of all types of resistance and damage passing through enemies. | |
![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | Another team with two damage dealers. Boothill, Blade and Jingliu do not consume many action points, thus allowing the puppet girl to use the skill more often. Ruan Mei, Fugue or Pela help allies deal more damage, and Huohuo helps not to sag in HP. You can also put Luocha, Bailu or Lynx in place of the healer. | |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | The Imbibitor is the main DD. The judge of the Ten-Lord Commission deals damage with basic and bonus attacks, periodically using the skill. Hanya increases ATK, speed and restores action points for allies, which is especially important, since the Imbibitor is quite demanding of skill points. Hanya's place can also be taken by Harmony MC, since the buffs apply to all party members, and the hero is not demanding in using the skill. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A team with Yanqing, an ice damage dealer. He attacks quite often, using skills and bonus attacks, thereby depleting the toughness of one enemy. As a buffer, it is worth considering Tingyun, who will help with energy recovery and increasing attack power. Since Yanqing does not want to take damage, it is better to use a shielder. |
F2P teams with free and 4-star characters:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | A team consisting of starting heroes. The Physical MC acts as a secondary damage dealer, helps gain Karma status levels if enemies have a weakness to the physical element type. Arlan (Lightning) will also work instead. Asta/the Harmony MC spread positive buffs to everyone in the team. March 7 applies shields. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The puppet girl here is a hypercarry who uses the buffs of the Path of Harmony supports to deal increased damage. Tingyun gives a bonus to attack and restores energy (if the character is not present, you can put Asta), Yukong increases crit dmg, crit rate and ATK. Natasha ensures the survivability of the group. | |
![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A team that is well suited for farming due to the support of Path of Erudition heroes who deal area damage. Pela also deals area damage with her ultimate ability, while simultaneously reducing the defense of all monsters. Lynx is busy healing allies and removing their debuffs with her ult. | |
![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | A team of Path of Nihility characters that apply debuffs in the form of statuses with periodic damage (enemies receive damage over several turns). The Fire MC protects allies. Hanya provides buffs in the form of ATK and speed, restores action points. If necessary, the Ten-Lord Commission Judge can be replaced with Gallagher, who is also a debuffer and will maintain the combat ability of the MC. |
Conclusion
Xueyi is a decent Path of Destruction character who uses the quantum damage type. The heroine's key feature is to reduce the durability of potential victims and break their weaknesses. She can perform bonus attacks, accumulating Karma levels for debuffing enemy defense, and also get a damage increase for the ultimate when hostile creatures are sufficiently exhausted. In addition, there is a boost in the traces that will additionally increase the entire DPS by 100% and directly depends on break effect.
In a team, the puppet girl acts as a main DD or sub-DD. In the first case, she needs supports and eidolons to reveal her potential to the maximum. In the second case, she deals less damage, but does not need awakening or support so much. Despite mastering the quantum element, she shows herself well in any build thanks to the ult, which ignores all vulnerabilities, and E2, which adds a similar mechanic to the bonus attack. Although the Judge of the Ten-Lord Commission is an epic hero, she is able to significantly "accelerate" her DPS and clear even difficult content.
We hope that thanks to this article we were able to make the best build for Xueyi in Honkai: Star Rail. In the comments, ask any questions about the character so that the author or other players can help.
