Crossbreeding in Pal world allows you to get the strongest companions. Pals can crossbreed with different species, and their offspring inherit the characteristics of their parents: special subspecies can be bred with improved abilities and new elements, breed happy Pals and populate their base only hard workers and motivators. Plus, this is a great way to fill in gaps in the encyclopedia and quickly discover all possible creatures.
If you play with combinations of species, you can get powerful pets that are difficult to catch in the wild. From the article you will learn how to breed companions and what skills they can inherit: the guide presents a table of crossing Pals in Palworld, using which you can choose the best companions for breeding and find out what creatures you will get in the end.
How Pal crossbreeding works in Palworld
Breeding in Palworld takes place in several stages:
- Construction of the Rendezvous Pasture.
- Making a special cake.
- Selecting Pals and bringing them into the pen.
- Receiving the egg and hatching the baby.
We will explain step by step how to bring two partners together. To get started, reach level 19 to unlock Dating Pasture. Choose a spacious place on the base - the building takes up a lot of space, and build it using the following resources:
When you're done, use the pot to cook a special cake, which you need to feed the Pals to get the egg. The dish consists of the following ingredients:
Wheat flour made in a mill from wheat, which can be grown on plantations, red berries easy to find in the wild or also planted on farms. Catch a couple of Mozzarines hiding near the Gorge Entrance teleport in advance and send them to pasture so that you always have a reserve milk.
Eggs gives the usual Chikipi, there are plenty of them in the starting location, honey you can get it from Bigarda, living in the Bush Panda Forest and caves.
Place what you received cake in the chest, which is set alongside Rendezvous Pasture. Now choose two creatures of different sexes - a male and a female. There is an indicator in the dating pasture that shows which pet is missing to start breeding.
It is not necessary to choose animals of the same species: certain combinations will help open new subspecies or powerful companions - for example, when mixing Mossanda and Katress you get Anubis.
Bring your companions into the pen - to do this, add them to your base using Containers for firewood. By opening information about a creature, you can easily find out what gender it is by blue or pink icon. When you're done, get as close to the target companion as possible and pick it up with the "F" button. Bring your pet to the pasture and go get the second one.
Some companions require special conditions - they may be too hot or cold in the dating pasture, so a cooler or flame heater will need to be installed. Otherwise, a dissatisfied Pal will leave the pasture.
If everything went well, the message will appear “This couple was inflamed with love for each other!”, and the bar around the egg icon will slowly fill with orange until the process is completed. If you forgot to put the cake, there will be a reminder on the panel.
Now wait for the Pals to produce the egg and pick it up to place it in Incubator, which also opens in the menu "Technologies" at level 7. For construction you will need the following resources:
- Palsium Shard ×10.
- the cloth ×5.
- Stone ×30.
- Detail of ancient civilization ×2.
Provide for the cub comfortable terms, then it will hatch faster and the breeding process can be considered complete. You may need to add a cooler to cool the frozen eggs, or, conversely, a fire for the hot kids. When the baby is born, check what skills it has inherited.
there is also a electroincubator, which will be available from the level. The device independently selects a comfortable temperature for eggs - for example, it lowers it for frozen eggs and increases it for those emitting heat. For construction, prepare:
- Refined metal ingot ×50.
- Electrical board ×15.
- Detail of ancient civilization ×10.
- Core of an ancient civilization ×5.
Construction is quite expensive, but it greatly facilitates the hatching process: with such an incubator, you will not have to constantly rearrange additional heating and cooling devices, assign Palov to them, and distract companions from other important tasks.
If you breed pets of the same type, you can later combine them using a Pala Essence Capsule to increase your rank and strengthen companion skill. To fully upgrade at least one pet, you will need another 64 copies of it, so stock up on cakes and patience, then you can create the truly powerful Pal.
In a separate manual, it is detailed how evolution works in Palworld.
What skills can the cubs inherit when breeding Pals?
For breeding, fires do not have to be of the same species - they are also capable of interbreeding with other types of pets. As a result, offspring may be born that will be very different from their parents: for example, an egg will get another element - so, when crossing satellites of the elements of Fire and Dragon, an ice cub can be born.
The resulting companion can inherit characteristics two of his parents. The combination of large Lucky Balls, literally sparkling before your eyes, will give you an even stronger and happier friend. In the wild, such companions are hard to find - they are usually locked in cages in the middle of the camps of poachers and adepts.
The cub adopts active and passive skills, thanks to which you can get a unique creature with many positive qualities.
Active skills Palworld shows how Pal will fight, such as launching ice missiles, using a dragon cannon, or using fangs. They are pumped up gradually as the companion's level rises, or with the help of The fruits of mastery, however, during breeding, the cub receives them immediately.
A versatile partner will be useful in countless battles; you can devote time and resources to leveling up one such creature, rather than spending them on assembling a strong team that will be suitable for any bosses.
Passive Skills in Palworld they are divided into legendary (marked in gold) and ordinary, and are also passed on to offspring through crossing. They show the pet's character and what additional buff it will receive. For example, Playing With Fire... Works increases fire damage by 10%, while Workaholics decreases sanity 10% slower.
Study secondary characteristics in order to correctly use the abilities of the Pals - leave them at the base or take them with you on travels. Please note that Mr. Muscles work 50% slower, but their attack is 30% higher, so it is better to leave such individuals in the team or keep them for breeding rather than assigning them tasks on the farm.
When eggs hatch, there is a small chance of receiving Alpha Palov. They differ from their ordinary relatives in their increased characteristics, size, and are marked with a red animal icon.
Palov crossbreeding chart at Palworld
Some Pals mutate into separate subspecies influenced by the environment. The subspecies has a different type from the original companion, and its characteristics are slightly higher, they can also be born as a result of combining certain creatures. For example, you can get Mossanda Lax by crossing a regular Mossanda and Grizzbolt.
Please note that not all combinations will give new subspecies: some creatures come in only one type, so you won’t be able to breed companions Lax, Kryst or Terra with their help. The Palworld crossbreeding chart below will help you create unique Pal species with different elements.

Best Palov breeding combinations
Companions do not transform into a stronger version of themselves after breeding - this is just the main way to get powerful buddies with the desired skills. Separately, it is worth highlighting Anubis - this is an excellent Pal with useful qualities, which, among other things, can be obtained as a result of breeding. Will become a valuable asset at the base, thanks to his well-developed skills in manual work, mining and transportation.
In addition, Anubis is one of the best combat companions to come to our dash list. He sticks to the Earth element and can throw a barrage of rocks, charge a power bomb, channel sand tornadoes, and slam the ground, jumping high into the air to deal damage over a wide area. The companion will later come in handy in battles against electric Pals, for example, Grizzbolt and Dazzy.
Try to catch Penking and Busi as soon as possible so that you can get a couple of Anubis by the middle game. Both Pals are located not so far from the starting location and are easy to defeat. Before the battle, we recommend pumping up your companions, stocking up Pal-spheres and good weapons, for example, a crossbow.
- Penking is a level 15 boss that can be found in the Residence of the Ice Bird. To fight him, take Foxparks or another fiery creature into your team to weaken Alpha.
- Busy - A level 23 boss hiding in the Sword Master's Residence. It will not withstand the influence of water, so here it is better to take the same Penking or Selarai as support.
Let's start by crossing the best Pals for the base. All the friends we’ll talk about below are perfect for the mid and late game; they cope with their tasks faster and can stand up for the settlement, repelling sudden attacks from enemies.
Anubis
- Item Type: Earth.
- Working skills: manual work (4), mining (3), transportation (2).
Anubis - one of the best combat Pals, who is also very useful at the base. During battle, it imbues its owner's attacks with the element of Earth, easily dodges enemy attacks and inflicts high damage, falling on the enemy from top to bottom.
If you leave your companion at the base, he will mine stone or ore, work on the workbench and put all the materials he receives into chests. A farm guy who can only be obtained by breeding or defeating an Alpha Pal.

Incineres | Serfent | |
Anubis | Nightwing | Ryhound |
Penking | Busy |
Sibelix
- Item Type: Ice.
- Working skills: medicine production (2), refrigeration (2), grazing (1).
Sibelix automatically produces high-quality fabric at the base if you assign Pal to pasture - this will save a lot wool and time. It produces medicine quite well and is capable of cooling a thermal container. It lives far to the north of the starting point, where it is difficult to reach, so breeding this species is much easier than catching it in the wild.
Verdas
- Item Type: Nature.
- Working skills: sowing seeds (2), manual work (3), cutting trees (2), transporting (2), collecting (3).
Verdas - a very versatile friend, like many other natural Pals. It can almost completely take over the work with plantations - sow seeds, collect fruits and distribute them to refrigerators and feeders. He knows how to quickly obtain wood at a sawmill and is able to help with crafting things at a workbench or factory. A good alternative for Flopy and the best option in the middle stage of the game.

Lamboll | Penking | |
Verdas | Cattiva | Penking |
Kremis | Penking |
Wumpo Nerd
- Item Type: Nature.
- Working skills: sowing seeds (1), manual work (2), cutting trees (3), transportation (4).
У Wumpo Botana Very high level of transporting and cutting trees, it is perfect for working in a sawmill and carrying large stacks of items around the base. Keep in mind that he also eats a lot, and prepare plantations and good food supplies for him. It is difficult to catch a pet in the wild - it lives in a nature reserve located quite far from the starting location.
Wumpo is also an excellent travel companion. It significantly increases the player's carrying capacity while in the team, and can transport a character if equipped with a saddle.

Penking | Mossanda | |
Wumpo Nerd | Incineres | Pirin |
Penking | Sibelikes |
Vixen
- Item Type: Fire.
- Working skills: starting a fire (2), manual work (3), transportation (2).
Vixen is a good pet that can craft items, cook food quickly enough and light furnaces to produce ingots, and can also transport items and resources. In the average game, Vixen perfectly replaces the same Incineram in terms of speed of manual work and starting a fire, but will not be able to work in a quarry.

Lamboll | Selaraj | |
Vixen | Cattiva | Selaraj |
Kremis | Selaraj |
Lunaris
- Item Type: Normal.
- Working skills: manual work (3), transportation (1), collection (1).
While Lunaris is in a group, the player's maximum weight increases, making it one of the best Pals for traveling. You can go with your “Pokemon” into the caves and not worry that there is not enough space in your inventory for all the resources. If you decide to leave her in the settlement, then Lunaris will do an excellent job with crafting and help with collecting seeds and other mined materials. Found only in caves and as an Alpha Pala.

Pengullet | Selaraj | |
Lunaris | Kamonosuke | Selaraj |

Blazehaul
- Item Type: Fire.
- Working skills: lighting a fire (3), cutting down trees (2).
Blazehaul with level 3 kindling, it is very effective in cooking and processing ores. While the companion is not performing fire-related tasks, he can also stockpile wood for the base.
Once you have the regular version of Pokemon, you can easily withdraw Blazehaul Noct with the same job skills, but the additional element of Darkness. Both subspecies increase the number of trophies that fall from killed Pals. Take one of them with you on a hunt to farm more resources.
If you haven’t yet acquired the best Palami for movement, you can easily take them out without leaving the base. With such pets it is easier to explore rocky biomes, you can fly and attack enemies from the air.
Fenglop
- Element typeenta: Normal.
- Working skills: cutting down trees (2).
Fenglop - a good pet for movement, since it can gallop at high speed and make a double jump, perfect for exploring mountainous areas. A reliable partner in the middle game with good attack and defense indicators, but loses ground at the late stage.
Ermurg
- Item Type: Normal.
- Working skills: collection (2).
Ermurg is a great alternative to a glider. With it you can float in the air much faster, but do not forget to monitor your pet’s stamina so as not to fall down. Fatal falls happen all the time, as Pal has no remorse in throwing a rider off of him if he gets tired. During the flight, the player's right hand will be free - you can shoot at enemies from above.
