Sushang in HSR is an epic character belonging to the Path of the Hunt and possessing the physical element. The Cloud Knight from Luofu Xianzhou has good damage for her rarity, which allows her to easily deal with single opponents in the early stages of the game.
The heroine is extremely effective in battles against bosses, especially if the target has a weakness to her element. In particular, she receives a lot of benefits in the form of buffs if she encounters "broken" opponents. This also encourages cooperation with units that can further reduce the toughness bar.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Like any character, the swordswoman has strengths and weaknesses that are important to consider in order to use all her capabilities to the maximum.
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| High Single target DPS makes the heroine a good alternative to 5-star representatives of her path, including in battles against bosses or difficult modes, for example, at high levels of simulated universe и Forgotten Hall. | Having her own speed and advancement buffs is both a plus and a minus, as they can cause lack of skill points. Therefore, it is important to monitor the scale and manage points wisely. The problem is partly solved by the first eidolon |
| Increasing speed and promoting action partly acts as compensation for the lack of AoE. The advantage works with some limitations, for example, in a battle with bosses that constantly summon allies, a unit alone will not cope. At the same time, with a group of a fixed number, you can not worry about damage in the area. | To achieve maximum efficiency, it is necessary to invest significantly in gaining critical damage and achieving an optimal balance of critical chance. In this regard, it may require a lot of time and resourcesto bring the character to the desired power. |
| Excellent break for physical vulnerability of opponents - this also provides additional boosts. For example, the "Repel the Enemy" trace increases the damage of Sword Stance, and "Conqueror" moves the action forward by 15% if there is an enemy with broken armor. | Despite bonus actions and high speed, Sushang is still ineffective against a group of large opponents. Therefore, in most cases, she requires additional support in the form of characters from the Path of Erudition or Destruction. |
| Works great even without eidolons, but they make the game more comfortable for her. E1 is especially useful, as it gives the opportunity to return a skill point if the girl deals damage to an enemy with a destroyed shield. |
Best Sushang Builds in Honkai: Star Rail

The swordswoman from Luofu Xianzhou uses the enemy's weakness to increase her combat power. This is achieved through the mechanics of Sword Stance - if there is an enemy on the battlefield with broken armor, this not only increases speed, but also guarantees additional damage when using the skill.
Based on the main features of the mechanics, builds for Sushang in HSR are based on high crits, attack power and elemental bonus. At the same time, it is important not to forget about speed, which affects the frequency of turns, and break effect, which boosts the effect of Bleed. However, it is advisable to look for the last stat in the lower characteristics, giving preference to the standard combat parameters.
Recommended Stats
The main stats that are recommended to look for in relics:
| Relic | Main characteristic |
| Head | HP (fixed) |
| Hands | Attack Power (fixed) |
| Body | crit dmg / crit rate |
| Boots | Speed / Attack Power |
| Planar Sphere | Physical Bonus / Attack Power |
| Link Rope | Attack Power / Break Effect |
The following additional characteristics should be gained as much as possible:
- critical parameters;
- Attack Power;
- speed;
- break effect.
Optimal final values of priority stats:
- Crit. damage/Crit. chance: in a ratio of 1:2 (for example, 60% crit rate and 120% crit dmg). Ideally, it is desirable to have at least 60% crit rate. As for critical damage - the more, the better;
- ATK: 2 and more;
- speed: at least 120.
Light Cone Rating
List of the most recommended weapons that match the heroine's characteristics:
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 48-1058 ATK 26-582 DEF 21-463 | Increases crit chance by 18-30%. If the speed is above 100, for every additional 10 units of speed, the damage of non-lethal weapons and skills increases by 6-10%. Crit also increases. superpower damage 12-20%. The effect can stack up to 6 times. | Gives a lot of crit chance, allowing you to focus on crit damage in relics, and also enhances important abilities. The weapon is good because it passively provides all the necessary buffs without any conditions. The only requirement is that for good damage you will have to invest heavily in speed. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 48-1058 ATK 26-582 DEF 21-463 | Increases crit. owner's damage 30-50%. When a basic attack or skill does not crit, the crit chance increases by 36-60% for 1 turn. This effect can only be activated once every 1 turns. | An excellent alternative with an emphasis on increasing critical damage. The weapon also gives a critical chance (and in large quantities), but the effect has limitations on the operation. If both cones are available, we recommend relying on the current stats, for example, with a serious lack of crit dmg, this weapon will look more advantageous. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | When the owner attacks the same enemy multiple times, each time the damage dealt increases by 8-16%. If the target changes, the boost will disappear. The effect stacks up to 5 times. | Despite the lack of crits, it fits very well with the heroine's fighting style. However, it is worth considering that the bonus disappears if you switch to another target. Therefore, when playing with this cone, you need to concentrate on one, the largest enemy with physical vulnerability. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | Increases ATK by 16-32%. Also increases crit chance. hitting 12-24%, if there are 2 or fewer enemies on the battlefield. | It's about on par with Swordplay. Attack power value is lower here, but there is a chance of a critical hit when there are 1 or 2 targets left. If there are problems with the balance of stats, this option will be better, especially against bosses. In later stages, when the stats are more or less optimal, signature wins. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 24-529 DEF 21-463 | Increases crit chance by 8-16% and more on 8-16% against enemies with HP less than or equal to 50%. After defeating an enemy, attack power is increased by 20-40% for 2 turns. | Free light cone from Simulated universe. Despite its availability and effectiveness, the "card" may not be very convenient, since in order for the last bonus to work, you will have to finish off monsters, or completely ignore this feature of the weapon and focus exclusively on one enemy. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 26-582 DEF 24-529 | CRIT damage increases by 20-32%For each debuff an enemy has, critical damage dealt to that target is increased by an additional 8-12%. This effect stacks up to 3 times. Using the ultimate will inflict the "Disputation" status on the owner, which increases damage dealt by 36-60% and allows the bonus hit to ignore 24-40% enemy defense. The effect lasts for 2 turns. | A cone of light that gives a guaranteed increase in crit. damage, and also increases the outgoing damage from any skills after using an ultimate for an attack. To fully implement the bonus, which offers an additional increase in crits in battle, the team needs characters who can apply up to 3 debuffs at a time (ideally). However, this option is not necessary if you do not have problems with the balance of important attacking characteristics. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 21-476 DEF 18-396 | Break effect is increased by 28-56%. At the start of a battle or after dealing break damage, the speed increases by 8-12% for 2 turns. The effect can only be triggered once per turn. | The most optimal option if the swordswoman is built into break. However, in addition to this, the light cone offers a speed boost, which is a fairly important stat for a representative of the Path of the Hunt. This boost is given automatically at the beginning of the battle, and is then supported by breaking the enemy's vulnerability. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 21-476 DEF 18-396 | At the start of combat, increases speed by 8-12% and his damage 12-24%. When the owner takes damage, this effect disappears. The buff will appear at the end of the next turn. | Free cone from the store of Forgotten Hall. It gives good bonuses, but the heroine rarely experiences problems with speed to give preference to this characteristic. Moreover, all buffs disappear after receiving damage, which requires a stable shield in the team. Despite this, the weapon can be used in the absence of the above options. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 38-846 ATK 24-529 DEF 15-330 | Increases crit chance by 12-24%. After crit. hits exist fixed 16-32% chance to remove one buff from the enemy. The effect can only be activated once per attack. | Cone from the Battle Pass. Not bad, but not the highest priority option, since the only useful bonus is the crit chance. Removing a boost is a nice addition, but too situational, especially when supports are provided for this purpose. If the weapon is available and there is not enough crit. chance (for example, it is below 50-60%), then this is an acceptable alternative. However, it is not recommended to specifically buy a power supply for this cone. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 14-317 DEF 12-264 | At the beginning of the battle increases the chance of crit. hitting 12-24% for 3 turns. | At the beginning of the game it is one of the best options, which is not much inferior to the weapon from BP due to the fact that it gives the same bonuses, but at the same time it is much easier to obtain and awaken. The only drawbacks are the increase in critical chance only for 3 turns and low base stats. |
What relics and ornaments are needed
Among the artifacts that further reveal the character's potential, it is worth highlighting those that provide important increases (critical parameters, elemental bonus and attack power), and also enhance the main mechanics.
Cavern relics
| Name | Effects | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 Piece: Physical bonus +10%. 4 Piece: After landing a hit or taking damage, Attack Power +5% until the end of the battle. Stacks up to 5 times. | Main Relic Set - Gives a bonus to physical damage and increases ATK. At the same time, it combines very well not only with the Cloud Knight's gameplay, but also with her signature cone Swordplay. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases damage dealt to enemies with Debuffs by 12%. 4 parts: Increases Critical Chance by 4%. Critical Damage dealt to enemies with at least 2/3 debuffs is increased by 8%/12% respectively. After the owner inflicts debuff on an enemy, the above effects are increased by 100% for 1 turn. | An alternative set of relics that works from the number of debuffs on enemies. To implement the set in a group, you will need to provide one or more debuffers, in return the girl will receive increases to crits and an increase in damage inflicted. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases crit. 8% chance. 4 parts: Increases skill and super ability damage by 20%. After using an ultimate, the damage of the next skill increases by 25%. | An excellent option for stat balance, as well as skill and ult enhancement. Since the heroine uses these skills most often, the set will allow her to deal even more damage, and due to the action progression after the ultimate, she will be able to immediately activate the max. buff for the skill. However, it is worth noting that the relic is still inferior to the previous ones in terms of the final increase in DPS. |
![]() ![]() Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters / Musketeer of Wild Wheat | 2 Piece: physical damage +10%. 2 parts: Increases damage dealt to enemies with Debuffs by 12%. 2 parts: attack power +12%. | Mixes with Street Boxing are superior to alternative full sets. With good characteristics, equipment can be used as the main and intermediate options. |
![]() | 2 parts: Special break effect +16% 4 parts: Special break effect +16%. Restores 3 energy after breaking through a vulnerable target. | A situational option that is worth equipping in battles with opponents with physical vulnerability. In other words, you shouldn't farm the set for a character on purpose, but in certain situations it can play a role and be used as a replacement for the main set. |
Planar ornaments
| Name | Effects | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 parts: Increases Crit. Chance by 8%. If the owner's Crit. Chance is 70% (or higher), the damage of his/her BA and skill increases by 20%. | One of the best planar ornaments sets, since in addition to the passive increase to critical hit chance, the set also provides a percentage bonus to damage from the base hit and skill. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases the wearer's attack power by 12%. If the owner's speed is higher than or equal to 135/160, then the damage they deal increases by 12%/18%. | A more speed-demanding set with increased bonuses. With the talent Dancing Blade, the stat increases if there is a target with a broken vulnerability among the enemies. Since this buff is unstable, when equipping a set of ornaments, it is also worth putting a support in the team for speed. |
![]() | 2 parts: Attack Power +12%. When the speed reaches 120 units or more, additionally to the attack power +12%. | A great alternative, since ATK is no less important than crit. parameters. With the cavern relic boots for speed, the swordswoman automatically gets a +24% increase. |
![]() | 2 parts: Break effect +16%. When the character reaches 145 or more speed, the break effect is additionally increased by 20%. | Similar to the Thief, this relic set is very specific, but it works well with the unit's mechanics. It works especially well in teams that focus on reducing enemy toughness or when enemies have physical weaknesses. |
![]() | 2 parts: Critical Hit Chance +8%. When Critical Hit Chance reaches 50% or higher, Super Ability Damage and Attack Bonus +15%. | In the mid-game (level 30+), you can use this set if crit. chance is not enough due to the lack of good parts of the sets. At the same time, to get a bonus for the ultimate, it is enough to have at least 50% crit rate, which is quite achievable, especially since the set itself passively gives +8%. |
Team Guide for Sushang in HSR

In a team, Sushang acts as a secondary source of DPS if you need a character who effectively breaks physical vulnerability and has high damage to one target. However, at the initial stages, she can take the position of the core. It is important to consider that the heroine's gameplay is largely based on breaking weaknesses, so it is desirable to have a variety of types of elements in the team.
Which characters are suitable?
The following characters are suitable for building a team:
| Character | Path | Damage type | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A good damage character for the early stages of the game. Can attack both AoE and one target, has two superpower modes, from which he breaks vulnerabilities well. Will make an excellent party in a mono-elemental team, and can also act as a sub-DD using the ultimate. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Clara is a great tank who can also do some decent DPS. However, her damage is more AoE based, so having a good single target damage dealer will come in handy. This is especially true if the boss has a weakness to the physical element. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A character capable of dealing decent damage while providing her allies with additional survivability. Focused on constantly performing a counterattack due to her talent and ult when reflecting incoming damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Can compensate for the lack of area damage, while simultaneously performing the duties of a freeze debuffer and defense reduction (E2). In addition, it has a low energy cost and economical consumption of skill points. |
![]() | ![]() | Acts as both the main and secondary damage dealer, supporting with her own DPS a more powerful representative of the damage-dealing Path. The main characteristic of the girl is break effect, therefore, she extremely easy to build. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Great support even for those characters that don't have summon mechanics (i.e. memosprite): Increases the crit dmg of allies, advances the action, and also deals additional true-type damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The main DD, who specializes in AoE. In this case, the swordswoman plays well as a secondary damage dealer, breaking through the physical armor of the enemy, helping to inflict additional damage to one large target. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A character with good area damage. For each hit on an enemy, restores energy and increases critical chance. Teams up with the Cloud Knight to destroy a group of opponents. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Himeko has mechanics that are related to break, specifically, she activates a bonus hit if anyone in the team breaks an enemy's shield three times, which fits well with the Cloud Knight's gameplay. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Excellent secondary DD with area damage. If enemies have 50% HP or less, uses a bonus strike that works on all enemy targets. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Although she has a similar Path and element to Jing Yuan, she often acts as a secondary damage dealer who helps destroy multiple targets with weakness to Lightning. She also inflicts the Shock status. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Enemies with quantum shields are common. Therefore, Qingque is quite in demand in most of the content. Although she is also no less demanding on skill points, which is important to consider if the characters are on the same team. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | An actual and rather strong buffer that increases crit with an ult. damage and attack power, and the skill advances the action forward. These bonuses are very useful, but as with Qingque, it is important to distribute skill points wisely. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A representative of the highest tier of Harmony, whose skills are aimed at increasing outgoing DPS, critical damage and attack power. When using the ultimate, advances the movement of all allies by 100%. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The Masked Fool directly affects the increase in the number of skill points used during combat, and also contributes to their accelerated recovery. In addition, she offers other important buffs. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A support character that boosts all damage, speed, and break efficiency. Since the swordswoman's mechanics are also partly related to break, she will benefit greatly from an alliance with Ruan Mei. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Tribbie provides powerful buffs in the form of increased break of all types of resistance and damage dealt to enemies, which is why it can be used in any composition. In the case of the Cloud Knight, she uses a speed build or is placed in combination with units that spread damage across an area. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A budget buffer that plays on enemies in a state of broken stamina will boost the heroine well, whose mechanics are also aimed at inflicting gradual damage to opponents with a broken vulnerability. It is distinguished by a low consumption of skill points, since the key buffs are in passive traces and superpowers. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Universal support character: combines well not only with heroes who summon independent combat creatures to the battle arena, but also with other representatives of damage-dealing Paths. Increases critical rates, advances the action by 100%, is a support that is undemanding to skill points, restores energy, and also comprehensively increases outgoing damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Increases the speed of all allies with an ultimate. If the swordswoman plays with Asta on a regular basis, the need to level up speed practically disappears, and it becomes possible to place greater emphasis on other characteristics. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | When the Roaring Bowstrings status is active, applies various buffs with her skill and super ability, increasing combat potential. At the same time, can deal damage to one enemy. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Speed and ATK buffer. Works best against elites and bosses, as Burden status increases damage to a single target. Restores one skill point for every two status hits. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Provides bonuses to DPS. At the same time, the ult helps to gain energy much faster. If there is no Bronya, she will be a great alternative as a buffer. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Acts as a secondary DD or support-debuffer. Applies various negative effects (reduced defense, attack and speed) and creates vulnerability of the enemy to the ally's element. |
![]() | ![]() | A great support character if the Cloud Knight is built into break. Fugue increases the required stat, allows you to reduce the toughness of enemies regardless of their vulnerability type, and also applies a debuff with a decrease in defense. The heroine is also considered for the classic team if additional damage in the area is needed or there are no other alternatives. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Reduces the defense of all enemy targets with an ultimate, dealing ice damage. Removes 1 buff from an enemy with her skill - this is a particularly useful skill at some levels of simulated universe or Forgotten Hall. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Constantly causes Burn on enemies, attacks in an area and applies debuffs that increase damage taken. In a team with a swordswoman, she partially compensates for the lack of AoE and increases the team's DPS due to debuffs on enemies. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | One of the best shielders, which applies armor to all allies at once. At the same time, he is able to tank, taking on some of the blows, and freeze, which is why enemies cannot take actions. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Places shields and renews them during combat after activating an ultimate, as well as performing a bonus attack. Practically not demanding for skill points. In addition to providing protective functions, helps the team with damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Redirects 65% of damage received by allies to herself, heals and tanks. In addition, the skill increases critical chance and health, and the talent provides additional survivability. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The Trailblazer's Shield isn't as strong, but it's still a good alternative as a tank and secondary DPS that does a great job of breaking Fire Vulnerability. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A good support in the early game. Although she only applies a shield to one ally, if the enemy attacks then, March 7 performs an instant counterattack. The super ability freezes (with a 50% probability) and hits the area. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A support character who heals both one ally with a skill and gradually the entire team with a talent. With an ultimate, he deals AoE damage and simultaneously removes 1 buff from all enemy targets. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Healer and buffer. Heals one or more team members with her skill and talent, and restores energy and increases ATK with superpower. Can also remove debuffs from allies. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A healer who not only heals, but also deals damage, and also applies a debuff that increases damage from break. During combat, summons an assistant, which is a bonus hit. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | An excellent healer. The skill can heal 2 random allies, and the ult restores health to the entire team. At the same time, 1 time per battle resurrects one fallen team member. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | If there are no legendary supports on your account, you can use Natasha as a healer. She is able to heal the entire group, and when leveling one of the Traces removes the debuff from one ally by the skill. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | An epic healer, not inferior to the legendary representatives of the Path of Abundance. Applies positive effects to passive healing, removes negative statuses with the ultimate ability from the team, provides strong mass and solo healing. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A good healer-debuffer, whose healing works from hits on opponents with the negative status "Besotted". The effect also increases break damage taken by the monster. |
Best team samples
Using the above heroes, you can create the following teams:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | A team focused on strengthening and supporting Sushang. Path of Harmony buffers are placed in two slots, spreading a lot of buffs to allies. Luocha or Gallagher heals and hits the area with an ultimate. The group relies entirely on the swordswoman, so it is suitable mainly for boss fights. |
![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | The core of the group is the area damage dealer. The Cloud Knight focuses on one target, breaking physical vulnerability for talent and applying the Bleed effect. Ruan Mei and Tribbie are effective for dual DPS builds, since the characters' buffs are distributed to all allies. The third slot can be filled with Tingyun, who increases ATK and restores energy with her ult (preferably used on someone whose bar is half full). |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | While the swordswoman focuses on destroying one of the targets, Welt, Fugue or Cipher act as a debuffer and secondary DD, debuffing enemy targets with various statuses and dealing additional damage. Asta or Yukong distribute buffs to the team. March 7 maintains the team's survivability with shields. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | The team is suitable for completing activities with a limited number of turns, for example Memories of Chaos. Luka helps with debuffs and Bleed, scaling with the boss's maximum health. The Harmony MC is also good against an enemy with an imaginary vulnerability. Silver Wolf creates weakness to the physical element with her skill, brings additional damage and constant debuff. Fu Xuan or Aventurine is responsible for the group's survivability. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | March 7/Lynx place shields/healing on Yunli or Clara to make them counterattack more often and more likely to absorb incoming damage. Sushang focuses on an enemy with a broken shield or physical weakness. The remaining slot is optionally filled with a buffer or debuffer. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Topaz helps in dealing damage with bonus hits on one target. Cipher or Fugue weakens enemies. Huohuo heals, restores energy and increases ATK. Lingsha, which not only heals, but also deals decent damage, will also work instead, allowing you to take advantage of Topaz's buffs. | |
![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Himeko helps in battles against a group of enemy targets, makes instant strikes if the enemy's armor is broken three times. Asta buffs speed, ATK and increases fire damage after "Ignition". Fu Xuan or Lingsha maintains the survivability of allies. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | A group that uses DoT effects as a secondary source of damage. Sampo enhances the damage of all periodic statuses, and depending on the number of targets and their vulnerabilities, Serval or Guinaifen is selected. The Fire Trailblazer distracts the attention of enemies, distributes shields to the team and attacks several enemies with explosions. |

How Sushang's skills work

The knight's abilities depend on the attack power (ATK) and are aimed at destroying one enemy target, including by breaking through its toughness scale. With her skill and super ability, she activates Sword Stance, which deals additional damage. At the same time, by breaking the enemy's vulnerability, the girl increases her speed and moves her action forward, which also allows her to feel comfortable against a group of small monsters.
Active skills
Cloudfencer Art: Warcry
Strikes a target and deals physical DPS equal to 80% of own attack power to all enemies at the start of combat.
«Cloudfencer Art: Starshine» (single hit)
Deals physical DPS (50-130%) to an enemy target.
«Cloudfencer Art: Mountainfall» (single hit)
Deals physical DPS (105-262,5%) to an enemy target. The finishing attack has a 33% chance to activate Sword Stance, which deals additional physical DPS (50-125%) to the target. If the enemy's vulnerability is broken, Sword Stance will activate with a 100% chance.
- «Shape of Taixu: Dawn Herald» (single hit)
Deals physical DPS (192-384%) to an enemy target, and advances her action by 100%. Afterwards, attack power increases by 18-36%, and using the skill adds 2 additional Sword Stance hits. These effects last for 2 turns. Additional Sword Stance hits deal damage equal to 50% of the original damage.
Passive Skills
«Dancing Blade» (Enhance)
If there is an enemy on the battlefield with a broken vulnerability, the heroine's speed increases by 15-22,5% for 2 turns.
Leveling Order
Super > Skill > Talent > Basic Attack
The Ultimateis the most important skill, as it deals the most damage and provides additional hits from Sword Stance. Along with the ultimate (with the difference of just one level), it is recommended to upgrade the skill, and then the talent to increase speed when there are enemies with broken vulnerability. The Basic attack is used only when it is necessary to restore skill points or finish off the enemy, so it is given priority last.

Eidolons
The best Eidolons of Sushang are E1,E4 and E6.
- The first eidolon: Allows you to restore 1 skill point if the skill is used on an enemy with broken vulnerability. This is a pretty useful shard, as it can have a decisive influence on the outcome of the battle. In addition, the girl is very demanding of skill points, as she increases her own speed and moves the action forward.
- The fourth eidolon: increases the effectiveness of break almost twice, due to which the periodic damage from bleeding after the destruction of the enemy's shield will increase.
- The sixth eidolon: the speed increase from the talent now stacks up to 2 times. Also, after entering the battle, 1 stack is given. For example, if the unit has the level 10 talent, at the start of the battle she will receive 20% speed, and if the vulnerability of 2 opponents is destroyed - 40%. Both effects last 2 turns.
| number | Name | Effects |
| 1 | Cut With Ease | Using a skill on an enemy target with a breached vulnerability restores 1 skill point. |
| 2 | Refine in Toil | Activating Sword Stance reduces damage taken by 20% for 1 turn. |
| 3 | Rise From Fame | Superpower level +2. Talent level +2. The maximum level is 15. |
| 4 | Cleave With Heart | Break effect is increased by 40%. |
| 5 | Prevail via Taixu | Skill level +2. The maximum level is 15. The level of basic attack +1. The maximum level is 10. |
| 6 | Dwell Like Water | Speed boost stacks up to 2 times. At the start of the fight, Sushang gains 1 level of speed boost from her talent. |
How to play Sushang

The Cloud Knight of Luofu is a primary damage dealer, specializing in dealing large amounts of physical damage through skills and, in particular, Sword Stance.
Sword stance deals additional physical damage that is guaranteed to be inflicted when using the skill if the attack is pervormed over an enemy with broken vulnerability (in other cases, the chance of activating the effect is 33%).
In this case, the ultimate not only advances action, but also provides 2 additional Stance triggers. This means that by following the order: skill > ult > skill, the swordswoman can potentially deal 3 bonus hits. Moreover, the effect occurs with a 100% chance if the enemy target's shield is broken before or after using the ultimate.
The general principle of using Sushang's abilities is as follows:
- Before the fight, use buffs, then weaken or attack techniques on enemies to start the battle. Pay attention to what elements the enemies are weak to, so that at the start the heroine can activate Sword Stance and increase speed by 15%.
- When it's your turn, use the skill "Cloudfencer Art: Mountainfall» on a target with physical vulnerability or an already broken shield to break armor or to guarantee a Sword Stance. If you have the 1st Eidolon, then try to use the skill specifically on weakened enemies to restore action points.
- Try to combine the skill and basic attack (including when switching to other allies) so that you always have at least 1 action point. This is necessary for the timely use of healing and defensive skills of supports or their own ability.
- When the ultimateShape of Taixu: Dawn Herald» is ready, activate it. This will advance action by 100% and allow you to land another hit. To take advantage of the Sword Stance double proc buff, immediately after the ult, use the skill. If you don't have enough points, you can use basic attack, since the boost works for 2 turns. However, this will break a pretty powerful combination.
Conclusion

Sushang is a fairly strong Path of the Hunt epic unit with her own unique mechanics and good break efficiency. She can be a core or a secondary source of DPS, such as for Erudition or Destruction. She does not require Eidolons to perform her functions and deal acceptable damage.
Later stages of the game may require high stats and therefore higher gear investment as stronger damage dealers may appear on the account. However, the Cloud Knight is still one of the best 4-star alternatives for single target fights.
We hope we helped you put together the best build for Sushang - the Cloud Knight of Honkai: Star Rail. If you have any questions related to the hero, feel free to ask them in comments, so that the author or other players can give you a piece of advice.
