Who is Tamayura-tei no Ohanashi in Genshin Impact suitable for?

Tamayura-tei no Ohanashi is a weapon that is suitable for both sub-DD and main damage dealers and buffers who need to quickly accumulate an elemental explosion. The spear's passive works well with snapshot mechanics (for example, ults Xiangling), and it also does not require hitting the enemy. It is not necessary to inflict damage by the owner of the weapon, the main thing is to press the E button itself.

CharacterFeatures
RaidenRaiden's ability damage comes from attack power, and due to her passive skill, damage also depends on her energy recovery rate. During combat, the heroine actively uses the skill and moves around the field, which is why both parts of the spear's passive are useful to her.
XianglingThe spear will be the optimal and affordable solution for assembling Xiangling into a classic sub-DD in the absence of Catch P5When playing as a heroine, you need to use the skill before the explosion of the element for future energy recovery for the key ability. C1 On Xiangling, using the skill will reduce the resistance to Pyro damage in enemies.
ShenheAll of the heroine's abilities depend on her attack power. Also, as a squad buffer, it is important for Shen He to have a high energy recovery rate to quickly update the entire team's rotation. Using a simple sequence of actions, you can quickly increase the girl's combat potential in the absence of a signature spear.
EmilieThe heroine has attack power scales and needs energy recovery, so she plays well with this spear. Due to the peculiarity of her elemental skill cooldown, there will be no problems with maintaining the buff in an active state.
XiaoXiao's mechanics require pressing elemental skills immediately before activating the ult to accumulate stacks, so the attack power buff will last for the entire duration of the ult. In addition, the spear will come in handy when exploring the open world, since Xiao is more often used as an active character, and E-s make movement easier.

Tamayuratai no Ohanashi can be placed on characters that depend on other characteristics, but subject to the balance of stats in artifacts. The spear increases energy recovery, which will allow buffers and shielders to use the key ability more often. However, if there are more profitable options in the backpack, including from the F2P set, it is better to equip them.

CharacterFeatures
RosariaThe spear will be suitable for balancing the characteristics of the sub-DD Rosaria, who gives a buff when activating an elemental explosion. If the heroine managed to find the necessary critical chance in the artifacts, then the event weapon will help balance the energy recovery to an acceptable value.
ThomaThe weapon will help Toma gain energy for the elemental explosion faster. However, the spear's passive will not provide Toma with significant buffs either in the classic shielder build or as a sub-damager in teams with elemental mastery, which is why it is better to use other available F2P alternatives.
Yun JinFor Yun Jin, the equipment is of little value and can serve as a temporary alternative until more effective analogues are obtained. The spear will help you gain energy for the ult faster, but will not provide useful buffs.

Also note that due to the speed bonus, the spear looks good on all spearmen when exploring the world. Even if the weapon doesn't really match the stats, you can equip it to make clearing locations easier.

How the weapon works

The passive ability of the spear Tamayura-tei no Ohanashi starts working after the elemental skill is activated. When pressed "E" The weapon owner immediately receives an attack power boost of 20-40% (depending on the awakening rank) and movement speed on 10 % for 10 sec. Based on this, we can derive a simple sequence of actions for the carrier, regardless of the position he occupies in the squad:

  1. Following the squad rotation, switch to the spear wielder.
  2. Use an elemental skill before activating Elemental Burst to gain an attack power boost.
  3. Perform the necessary rotation for the carrier, whether it is activating the ult or dealing damage with punches under the effect of the attack power and movement speed buff for 10 seconds.
  4. If necessary, return to the spear owner and renew the spear's passive ability according to the cooldown time of the elemental skill.

Note that most characters, given the average E cooldown, will have a few seconds of downtime without a passive buff. For example, if you use a weapon on a character with an el skill cooldown of 6 seconds, the buff will only renew after 12 seconds, and you won't be able to activate it after exactly 10 seconds. Accordingly, there will be 2 "empty" seconds in the rotation without a buff. If you monitor even small damage, track this moment on your character in order to pass abilities with the snapshot mechanics in time and inflict more damage.

Will it work for Escoffier's pocket or will the kite be more profitable?

The pocket kite doesn't work. But for the base and the cash, it's fine.

Iansan signature...
.... mmm, Z has long since implemented the signature weapon idea, even for 4th-rarity characters. Genshin apparently copied the idea from there, only with purple signature weapons in ZZZ in the standard banner, while in Gashna they're stuffed into events (Dialogue of the Desert Winds for YaoYao, Magic Supersword for Bayda, and this staff for Iansan or Dodoco Tales), meaning if you miss an event for some reason, you won't be able to get signature weapons for your 4-star characters. As a result, a bunch of old and even new (!) 4-star characters are basically running around with the same weapons: Favonius/Ceremon/Favonius/Ceremon/Epic/Favonius/Epic/Favonius/Favonius... It's uninteresting, dull, boring, and dreary, in my opinion.

If I were the developers, I'd stick not fluff in events and other activities, but a separate currency that players would receive as a reward and which, in a separate banner (so as not to clutter the standard one and turn it into a spectacular mess), could be used to spin a 4-star signature/event weapon. And put the signatures of legendary characters from the standard one in the same banner as well. And this new currency for individual spins of the new banner could be farmed not only from events, but also, for example, stuffed into the Abyss reward for timing the 12th floor, in BP, or anywhere...

Saino's forgotten. His base attack is good, plus the attack power is his secondary stat. Not the best solution for him, but still good.

Answer  ReaperZ

It feels more comfortable to me than his own paddle. His ult is too expensive.
