Some players sometimes experience connection problems in battles, but the speed of the Internet provider is not affected. The problem is often solved quickly and painlessly, but for this you need to know its cause.

1. Impact of programs
To play comfortably, you should always close unnecessary programs:
- Browser. A browser with a lot of open tabs creates problems when loading and connecting to the Internet. If the user has a weak PC and low Internet speed, then the browser will overload the system too much during the battle, which will affect many factors, including Internet speed.
- Antivirus. Before launching the game client, it is recommended to disable the antivirus, as it can slow down all processes. It can also cause frequent loss of communication.
- Firewall. An enabled firewall, either external or internal, can block communication while the game is running. All firewalls must be disabled.
- Torrent client. An open torrent tracker constantly maintains an Internet connection. New versions have a lot of ads that are constantly displayed in active mode. Even without downloading, the torrent client takes up a lot of RAM and CPU power, which can affect all functionality, including an uninterrupted connection.
Before starting the game, close all unnecessary programs. The fastest way to do this is with the Task Manager. To call it, you need to simultaneously press the combination of buttons Ctrl + Alt + Delete. The manager will contain a list of running applications.

Unnecessary tasks can be closed by right-clicking "end task".
To check the connection, you must close all unnecessary programs. If the connection stops disappearing, then the reason lies among them. To understand which application to interfere with playing, you need to run each program in turn and check. The best way not to waste too much time is to close all applications and programs before starting the client.
2. World of Tanks cache
Game cache is the most common reason for disconnection. To restore the quality of the connection, you need to clear World of Tanks cache. To clean it, you need to perform several actions:
- Open the window with a combination of buttons Win + R.

- In the line that appears, enter %appdata% and click OK.
- A list of folders will open, in which you need to go to the Wargaming.net folder.

- Delete all contents from the folder.
- Restart PC.
The next time you start the game, all settings, including login and password, will need to be entered again.
3. The game will stop running if the necessary files are deleted.
More often such situations happen when removing mods. To solve this problem, you need to use a special application from the developers WGCheck.

When run, it will scan all files and restore the client.
