TOP 5 worst guns in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

The most useless weapon that is better not to buy if you want to win.

Content

Counter-Strike is a series of multiplayer first-person shooters life changing several generations of gamers. Between the release of the first part in 1999 and setting another record for simultaneous online in 2020 (In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive more than 1 million people played at the same time) 21 years have passed. During this time, the gaming industry has changed beyond recognition, and the cult franchise has become one of the most popular esports disciplines.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – R8 Revolver, PP-Bizon, MAC-10, Dual Berettas, M249

Over the years, the line of weapons in the game has been updated, but among the great variety of firearms useless combat units did not become less. It's time to understand and understand why you should avoid buying representatives of this "disgusting five".

R8 revolver

R8 revolver

When the R8 revolver first appeared in the game, he possessed uniqueBut unbalanced characteristics. A miniature weapon whose accuracy and lethal power were not inferior to the legendary AWP, outnumbered combat units from more serious classes both in terms of price and characteristics. The delay upon firing was another unique feature of this revolver.

Valve realized their mistake pretty quickly, and in one of the subsequent R8 Revolver patches lost the lion's share of its advantages. At the moment, this weapon does not enjoy its former popularity and is practically not used in competitive matches. However, it is still the most non-standard in the game.

PP-Bison

PP-Bison

Any professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player will tell you that damage, armor penetration and accuracy are the key components of any weapon. Not having it all, PP-Bison is an outsider and can offer players nothing but magazine for 64 rounds. This is a good capacity for a submachine gun, but it cannot compensate for the main shortcomings of this weapon. What's the point in a lot of rounds if their power is not enough to neutralize enemies?

MAC-10

MAC-10

This submachine gun is one of the cheapest weapons that a terrorist team can afford. Low price MAC-10 - a spoonful of honey in a barrel of tar, consisting of huge returns, weak armor-piercing и effectiveness only in close combat. In addition, most players agree that the accuracy of this weapon is also terrible. The expediency of buying a MAC-10 appears only in one case: if this is the only weapon for which there is enough money.

But even in such a situation, you need to think several times before buying it and spending the last money.

Dual berettas

Dual berettas

Spectacular view is the only thing players buy for Dual berettas. There is no other weapon in the game that would look equally menacing. Unfortunately, in more useful aspects of combat, these pistols inferior to their counterparts. Even a large ammunition does not cover the shortcomings of this weapon. Minor Damage и low accuracy force players to turn to other pistols.

M249

M249

M249 - not the most effective light machine gun in the game. Despite monstrous stopping power, it cannot compete with Negev. Small store capacity и incredibly high price play a decisive role against its purchase. This not reasonable neither from an economic nor from a combat point of view.

Don't talk about Berettas, as soon as they become equal in my hands, all opponents disappear, although everything else is a joke, Berettas are not a weapon for everyone, they are complex, but cheap.

God, the author just doesn't know how to play. You know, the R8 is somewhat effective at long range? At range, picking off mid on the first round is perfect. Once you go long, no deagle can compare to a revolver.
The PP-Bison isn't an effective weapon in a head-on fight, but you can't imagine what this capacious beast can do when played tactically. For example, if four terrorists are heading to B on Dust II, exchanging fire with CTs, and you, with armor and a Bison, approach them from mid, you'll simply pick off ALL the remaining enemies without changing your magazine. I even aced them this way (this tactic doesn't always work, especially at high ranks and in the early rounds, because at high ranks, not everyone will just succumb to the byte and shoot as a whole team. And in later rounds, snipers will appear to prevent the terrans from getting through, which means mid lane guards will appear).
The MAC-10 is great for positioning yourself and waiting for the enemy. Believe me, no M4A4 can outshoot a terrorist waiting around the corner with a MAC-10.
Dual Berettas are CRAP when rushing in a crowd. They're especially effective with partners—pick up these pistols with a friend and go smashing them. Just keep your aim on the torso when holding them down, as this will force the bullets to the head (one-shot if the enemy is unarmored).
I agree about the M249—it's a piece of crap. Not only does it have a very strong barrel tilt, but there's also the price and the magazine. Berkut is only for those who like variety or those who prefer to sit around the corner and fight everyone off.

I don't agree with everything, I just need to grow my arms where they belong and that's all.

I agree with the M249 and the revolver. Most players just don't like the rest. Herd instinct and so on. I race with Berettas and I'm pretty good at killing people, you just have to know how to play. I won't comment on the Bison and Mac, you just need to know how to control the trigger.

I don't know about you, but I play with a revolver and it's fine for me.
