The anti-rating opens with a small map 600x600 meters - Ensk. This is a fictional city, which is an urban development, a field and warehouse buildings, separated by a railway.
The map is conditionally divided into three zones
- the city - the place of collision of strands and assault tank destroyers;
- Railway paths - at the beginning of the battle, they can become a “death road” if they find it, since the player will not always have time to turn from there;
- "Zelenka" - there is artillery, they are trying to break through / overexposure the LT, and the STs are trying to shoot, playing from the terrain.
In fact, in battles it often turns out that there will definitely be at least one “uporant” who will go through the railway. It is not uncommon for one of the teams to score on the green, enemy tanks quickly pass there and cut out the artillery and a couple of players who tried to defend the flank. Then the second team is squeezed from both sides, and if the “city” also loses, then in most cases it is a turbo drain.
In the "Encounter Battle" the base is located on the city square. The battle starts on the "green" near the respawn of the teams. In this mode, the self-propelled guns have practically no chance of surviving until the end of the battle, however, like most of the cardboard vehicles.

The location is already larger 1000x1000 meters, the birthplace of WoT is Minsk. The card was released for the first time in 2018. Fans of LT, TT, tank destroyers and art literally hated this card, showering it with a lot of negative reviews, and only CT felt good here.
After the release, the map soon went to redesign. Part of the map was moved to the north, the southern outskirts were completely removed. But she remained still incomprehensible in terms of playability. It seems like a city in the east, armored tanks can fight there, but in the north it was not clear what was going on: they added trees, shelters, and cut off the G1-K1 line. Again, the dissatisfaction of the players and the map is sent for revision.
Then there were a few more revisions, they expanded the area of action for the cords, they added shooting zones for medium tanks for comfortable shooting. But artillery and tank destroyers still feel “out of place” here. There is also no possibility for passive light.
To this day, options are being considered to make the map more balanced and playable, but in the meantime, players are already tired of these changes, the battles in which it is difficult to implement vehicles, so many unanimously blacklisted Minsk.

And one of the very first maps of the game, Himmelsdorf, topped the rating. City map with a labyrinth of streets, a square and a castle on a hill. Heavy tanks and armored slow tank destroyers crowd into the "banana", medium tanks take the "mountain", and the light ones try to give an initial light and look for where they can break through to the base. In all this situation, the most difficult thing is for tank destroyers and artillery, it is difficult for them to find a use for themselves.
There are many options for the development of events, but it all depends on the attitude of the players. Some breakers support the hill, they quickly capture it and, having gained an advantage for firing from a height, shoot with impunity opponents who did not have time to hide behind cover. At low levels, there is generally an orgy going on there, self-propelled guns rarely survive until the end of the battle, since sometimes the flanks are simply abandoned.
In an oncoming battle, the relevance of the “hill” and LT / ST is reduced, heavy weights decide more here. In general, city maps are blocked more often for the reason that many players are now pumping out light and medium tanks that are devoid of armor and cannot fully express themselves .

Ensk is full of rotten stuff. Not a single normal position where you can comfortably play at least something. And why do we need cramped maps at all? They removed the southern shore. For what? It was a great card. You could be smart. For tight maps, then at least cut down the composition of the teams. Well, at least 10 by 10. Otherwise, in this crowd you don’t have time to understand at all - what to do? Where to go? Bach Bach… turbowin. In short, do not sculpt VG, please, more of these "cramped cells." The size "Prokhorovka" - "Lasvil" is the most optimal.
Minsk is in my permanent bath. I block the second map depending on the class of vehicles: Studzyanki on arte, Westfield (or Mannerheim Line) on ties, Highway ST, Monastery on LT, Karelia on PT. I don’t know why, in Khimki it’s now normally played in any class.
