In HSR, Tribbie is a quantum character of legendary rarity following the Path of Harmony. Despite her initial belonging to the support class, the chosen one of the Chrysos Heirs is capable of not only strengthening allies, but also dealing good area damage with her ultimate and bonus attack.
The buffs offered by the Maiden of Janusopolis, such as increased penetration of all resistance types and increased damage, will prove useful to many units. However, due to the specific nature of her abilities, particularly her ultimate, she works best with units that deal AoE damage.
Based on the main mechanics of the character, we can distinguish different build options that represent specific combinations of stats, equipment, and allies. It is the basis of this guide, which includes the most recommended equipment and optimal teams.

Strengths and Weaknesses

The heroine is considered a valuable representative of the Path of Harmony by many damage dealers. However, despite her usefulness, she has certain drawbacks. It's important to consider all of this Messenger's characteristics if you plan to use her in your team.
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| Offers versatile and powerful buffs, which directly increases the DPS of the entire team. Thanks to this, she can be combined with any damage dealers, and it doesn’t matter at all whether they play from break or periodic damage. | Works worse against single targets because the third trace restores energy after an allied hit every enemy. As a result, the superpower gauge will fill up more slowly than in scenarios where there is a battle against a crowd of enemies. |
| Has good damage of her own, which comes from the super ability and the bonus attack of the talent. Moreover, the damage is distributed to all opponents, which makes it easier to deal with clusters of small mobs. | It follows from the first point that the unit Doesn't pair so well with heroes without splash damage or those who rarely attack. She remains a useful support for them anyway, but the build becomes more complicated, since you will have to focus more on speed. |
| Highly effective in AoE content allows the heroine to be a perfect support for clearing "Pure Fiction". With her in the team, clearing this mode will become much easier and more comfortable. | For maximum exposure in terms of DPS dealt It is advisable to unlock the eidolons — optimally up to E2. The heroine is good against small monsters even without her consts, but only with consts does she become a truly strong combat unit. |
| Great synergy with Erudite heroes thanks to the third trace, which provides energy when partners hit enemy targets. It is worth mentioning The Herta (Erudition: Ice), deriving many benefits from the union. | |
| Economical in consuming skill points. The duration of the Numinosity status is 3 turns, which allows you to alternate 1 skill and 2 basic attacks. Thus, the girl will create an additional skill point. |
Best Tribbie Builds in Honkai: Star Rail

The demigoddess girl is considered a hybrid character of the Path of Harmony, performing the functions of a support and a secondary damage dealer at the same time. Therefore, for full effectiveness in battle and helping the team, it is necessary to take into account her features and mechanics when selecting stats:
- All skills scale from HPAs a result, the main emphasis is placed on health.
- Ultimate is an important skill, which means you will need energy recharge.
- Since the gameplay involves dealing damage, you need CRIT DMG и CRIT Rate.
In addition, as mentioned earlier, the super ability is one of the key "buttons". It is charged by more frequent actions or with the help of allies if the third trace is open. For example, in a standard group with representatives of the Erudition, the ultimate is easily restored passively even at low speed, since these heroes attack in the area and quite actively.
The "slow" build is a classic for the Amphoreus Messenger, as it works well in most situations. However, the character is still able to place a greater emphasis on gaining speed, and there are scenarios where this actually makes sense.
To determine which Tribbie build in HSR is more preferable, let's consider both options.
| "Slow" build | "Quick" build |
| No need to refresh the Numinosity status from the skill often. Skill points for the team are generated more slowly. | More frequent use of the skill. At the same time, more active generation of skill points within the cycle. |
| Easy build, higher damage due to HP boots equipped and "flexibility" in terms of equipment choice. | The character is more difficult to build and at the same time deals lower personal damage. Fewer suitable equipment options. |
| Initially, the heroine is effective in AoE content, where even without speed she steadily restores energy from the trace. | In situational fights, when there are few enemies or the main DPS does not deal damage in the area, speed will allow you not to lose energy. |
| No ult available at the start of the battle without assistance from allies or the signature cone. | The build is relevant if the team has enough sources of damage. Therefore, you can sacrifice HP for the sake of speed. |
| Overall, fewer ultimates are used throughout the battle, despite having the same buff duration and refresh rate. | More ults, which also creates good synergy with the Dance! Dance! Dance! Cone and the Eagle of Twilight Line set. |
Recommended Stats
Stats in the upper parameters of relics and planar ornaments:

| Hands | Attack Power (fixed) |
| Body | Crit. chance = crit. damage |
| Boots | HP > speed |
| Planar Sphere | HP > Quantum Damage |
| Link Rope | Energy Recovery Rate > HP% |
Secondary stats:

Recommended stat values to have at level 80:
- HP (health) - 4-000 and more.
- Crit chance - 70% and more
- Crit damage - 140% and more
- speed - base 96, 88 with Poet of Mourning Collapse ("slow" build); 120 and more ("fast" build)
- defense - 1 and more.
Light Cone Rating
The weapon should match the Path and also offer useful bonuses to both the heroine and her allies. However, first of all, it is worth paying attention to cones with energy restoration and action advance. The table below considers suitable options.
| Light cone | Effect | Recommendation |
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 58-1270 ATK 24-529 DEF 18-463 |
Increases crit. damage per 36-60%. After performing a bonus attack, the character restores 12 energy and gains the Presage status, which lasts for 2 turns. While this status is active, the critical damage of all allies is increased by 48-96%At the beginning of the battle, the owner receives 21 energy and activates the Presage status for 2 turns. | The signature charges her ultimate faster and provides a critical bonus, which will positively impact the team's overall damage output and facilitate rotation. However, the critical bonus will be useless in break or DoT teams. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 19-423 Protectiona: 18-396 |
When the character uses their ultimate, all allies' actions advance by 16-24%. | The unit tends to constantly use her ultimate (ideally every other turn), meaning she easily activates the passive effect. It will also be just as useful to the unit as it is to the team, as more active turns equal more hits, which generate energy. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 14-317 DEF 12-264 |
After the character hits or takes damage, it is restored 4-8 energy. This effect can only occur once per turn. | The demigoddess primarily uses basic attacks during her turn, and when equipped with this weapon, she will be able to restore even more energy from hits (at the fifth superimposition, it is approximately the same as from the skill). |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 19-423 DEF 18-396 |
Increases break effect by 28-56%. When the character makes a hit, restores 4-8 energy. This effect can only be activated once per turn. | Break effect isn't exactly a significant stat, but thanks to constant bonus hits and the ultimate, she can potentially reduce enemy break bar to 0. The weapon is primarily considered for its energy regeneration. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-953 ATK 28-635 DEF 21-463 |
Each hit from an ally imposes 1 level of Cantillation status on the character. Each level increases the owner's energy recovery speed by 3-5% up to max lvl 5. Using the ult removes the Cantillation status and applies Cadenza. This effect increases the wearer's attack power by 48-96% and damage dealt by allies, on 24-40% for 1 turn. | It pairs well with the final trace, which grants energy for allied attacks. While the Cadenza status won't benefit the heroine herself due to her skills scaling with HP, it will offer her allies a boost to all damage dealt. |
Alternative equipment:
- Earthly Escapade (legendary) - a cone with high base HP and critical hits. The problem is that the heroine only restores skill points with her basic attack, making the team buff inconsistent.
- Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds, Planetary Rendezvous, In Pursuit of the Windand Dreamville Adventure (epic) - situational options that can be used before obtaining the weapons discussed above.
What relics and ornaments are needed
Artifacts are chosen based on the build the character plays in. Therefore, it is important to highlight situations in which sets become most preferable. As for bonuses and stats, these can be crits, HP, elemental damage, energy recovery or various buffs for allies.
Cavern relics
| Set and its effects | Recommendation |
![]() 2 parts: Quantum bonus +10%. |
Allows you to use a crit dmg relic body without any losses, but the speed is reduced to 88 (with a base value of 96). Used exclusively in the build at low speed. In this case, it is advisable to avoid the corresponding characteristic in sub-stats, so that the maximum increase is always given. |
![]() 2 parts: 10% wind bonus. |
Option for the "quick" build with a speed of 123 units. It's designed to generate enough energy to use the ultimate and additional action until the end of the second cycle. Ideally, it's paired with the "Dance! Dance! Dance!" cone for maximum efficiency. |
![]() 2 parts: max HP +12%. |
A set for increasing your own DPS. The main drawback is the buff's inconsistency, as the envoy will need to be constantly under attack (or play with HP-depleting teammates) to activate the second part of the passive. |
![]() 2 parts: Quantum bonus +10%. Together with the following kits:
|
Relics can be combined with each other to boost stats between farming full sets. For example, a classic build would use two pieces for quantum damage and two pieces for HP, while a "fast" build would combine any of the previous two with the Messenger Traversing Hackerspace. |
There is also an option to equip Genius of Brilliant Stars, suitable for any build. However, in a slow build, it's inferior to the Poet of Mourning Collapse, and in a fast build, it's less optimal than the Eagle of Twilight Line. Thus, despite its versatility, it falls short compared to specialized sets in its niche.
Planar ornaments
| Set and its effects | Recommendation |
![]() 2 parts: Max HP +12%. If the wearer's HP is 5 or more, the critical damage of the character and their memosprite is increased by 000%. |
When paired with the Poet of Mourning Collapse, it can yield an additional 32% crit rate and 28% crit dmg if the requirements of both sets are met. For this reason, it is typically used in the "slow" build, making it easier to reach 5,000 HP thanks to the appropriate boots. |
![]() 2 parts: Energy regeneration speed +5%. If the character's speed is 120 or higher, the action is advanced by 40% at the start of the battle. |
Option for the "fast" build, where the minimum speed is exactly 120. Combines with the Eagle of Twilight Line, which also advances the action. This opens up the opportunity to further speed up the rotation and charge the ultimate closer to the start of the fight. |
|
2 parts: Energy regeneration speed +5%. If the owner is not the first team member, the attack power of the first team member is increased by 12%. |
If you're looking to diversify your support mechanics rather than your own damage output, this set is the optimal choice. However, your primary damage dealer should be your primary damage dealer, and its abilities should scale with attack power to activate the passive effect. |
![]() 2 parts: Increases critical chance by 8%. If critical chance is greater than or equal to 50%, the damage of the super ability and bonus attack is increased by 15%. |
A decent combat set with crit chance and an ult and bonus hit boost. Less effective in this niche than the Bone Collection's Serene Demesne. However, it still buffs offensive abilities if the character's crit chance is at least 50%. |
In addition to the sets considered, you can wear:
- Penacony, Land of the Dreams — an alternative option with energy. Optimal in monoquantum team, but will also work with various elements if the DPS character has a quantum element. Otherwise, it is better to use Lushaka or Vonwacq to increase ER.
- Fleet of the Ageless — slightly worse in the "fast" build, since it does not advance the turn and does not provide energy. At the same time, it increases HP, which will have a positive effect on damage, and strengthens allies. If the rotation is built properly without taking the ornament set into account, it is used to buff the attack.
Team Guide for Tribbie in HSR
In a team, Tribbie plays the role of a support with universal buffs that will be useful to many characters (increasing overall damage and penetration of all types of resistance). However, her mechanics still suggest synergy with AoE damage dealers. This primarily includes representatives of the Path of Erudition, as well as some units of Destruction, Remembrance, or Nihility. This is due to the third trace's peculiarity, which restores energy for each enemy target hit by an ally.
In addition, she interacts well with:
- Damage dealers scaling from HP. Considering that the heroine offers effects that directly increase DPS, she will suit such fighters. This area also includes those who play from break effect or Dot.
- Heroes who specialize in bonus attacks. These are fighters who aren't prone to dealing massive damage. However, with sufficient speed boost and constant bonus attacks, they can still charge the messenger's super ability.
Additionally, it is worth noting that bonus attacks are only triggered by using the ultimates of allies. This should also be taken into account when selecting a team. Ideally, her partners should rely on their superpowers and activate them consistently.
In any case, the heroine can be combined with any DPS characters if desired. However, it is important to make sure that she is able to restore the ultimate every 2 turns without outside support. It is in such cases that the use of a speed build becomes relevant.
Which heroes are suitable?
The table shows the units that synergize best with the Demigoddess:
| Character | Features |
| The characters work well together as a team, as the Messenger relies on HP, while Castorice needs to constantly drain her allies' health to increase damage and restore energy. At the same time, her abilities also rely on HP, making buffs extremely valuable. | |
![]() |
She serves as the primary or secondary damage dealer in teams that rely on summoning memosprites. Her skills scale with her health, she deals area-of-effect damage, and consistently uses her ultimate ability — this creates synergy with the Maiden of Janusopolis, regardless of Evernight's role in the group. |
![]() |
Aglaya benefits greatly from the alliance, as the buffs complement her own set of abilities perfectly. She can perform multiple area-of-effect attacks thanks to her memosprite, which allows her to activate the bonus damage from her superpower and restore her energy. |
![]() |
The heroine can be called one of the best Harmony supports for The Herta:
|
![]() |
His main strength lies in his ability to inflict all types of vulnerabilities on his enemies, which, combined with the Demigoddess's resistance penetration reduction, allows him to deal with any target. He also consistently deals area-of-effect damage, occupying a primary or secondary position in his squad. |
![]() |
A comfortable hero for clearing "Pure Fiction." Her skill applies the "Debt Collector" status to one ally, increasing their speed and allowing them to deal additional damage. At the same time, Jade often uses bonus attacks against groups of enemies. |
![]() |
The character places a heavy emphasis on his superpower, which is her primary source of damage. This, in turn, ensures that the messenger's bonus attack is triggered, and the fact that Argenti consistently deals damage to all enemies and easily charges the energy bar. |
![]() |
The General summons a Lightning Lord who fights alongside the rest of his team against a group of enemy targets. While this ultimate isn't exactly Jing Yuan's core ability, he can quickly charge it thanks to its constant bonus attack and low cost. |
![]() |
A damage dealer with a mass damage from a standard banner. Often plays in tandem with another DPS character. Can deal with advancing waves of enemies both with active skills and passively with a bonus strike. In any build, will highly appreciate buffs, in exchange for providing third-party energy regeneration. |
| An AoE damage dealer who relies on vulnerability penetration. The Amphoreus Messenger not only provides buffs to her, increasing her penetration of all resistance types and overall damage, but also periodically breaks enemy weaknesses, accumulating talent charges. | |
![]() |
The warrior requires supports who actively utilize their ultimate abilities, as this increases her damage and allows her to charge her ultimate faster. This creates an optimal synergy that significantly enhances Saber's combat potential. |
![]() ![]() ![]() |
These heroes' skills rely on HP, meaning buffs will be quite useful for them. This is because the Maiden of Janusopolis' buffs directly increase damage without being tied to specific stats. The units themselves actively deal damage to multiple targets. |
![]() |
The Galactic Ranger is a powerful damage dealer, but her classic squad includes two Nihility heroes (this only changes with E2). However, she'll be a great support even for Acheron E0, especially if she's equipped with the "Dance! Dance! Dance!" light cone to push the action forward. |
![]() |
Despite being a Path of the Hunt hero, Feixiao possesses some AoE potential. Another advantage is her frequent bonus jabs. In such a composition, other characters actively deal damage, allowing the envoy to accumulate energy. The demigoddess will prove useful in content focused on area-of-effect damage. |

All about leveling
The table shows the resources required to fully upgrade the unit:
Total number of components for maximum upgrade:
- Credits (×3 888 000);
- Traveler's Guide (×290);
- Fear-Stomped Flesh (×56), Courage-Torn Chest (×71), Glory-Aspersed Torso (×73) - dropped By the Titankins and Twilight Beasts;
- Firmament Note (×18), Celestial Section (×69), Heavenly Melody (×139) - materials from the Calyx of The Reverie (Dreamscape);
- Darkveil Moonlight (×65) - an item obtained in the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Gelidmoon located in "Murmuring Woods" Grove of Epiphany;
- Lost Echo of the Shared Wish (×12) - a resource from the weekly boss Great Septimius;
- Tracks of Destiny (×8).
How skills work

The Messenger is an atypical Path of Harmony character, as buffing allies isn't her only function. The Maiden of Janusopolis also deals damage to all enemies using her ultimate ability and bonus attacks, making her helpful in dealing with groups of smaller enemy targets.
In short, the skills are as follows:
- Basic attack - minor damage to several targets.
- Skill - increased penetration of all types of resistance for allies.
- Ultimate - Increases incoming damage to enemies and damage dealt.
- Talent - Conducts a bonus attack after allies use their ult.
Of course, the heroine cannot completely replace a secondary damage dealer of the attacking character due to her initial focus, but at the same time she shows herself quite well as an additional source of mass damage, especially in the presence of quantum vulnerability.
Active skills
The heroine's basic active skills include: technique,basic attack,skill and ult. These skills are designed to specifically distribute buffs and damage, giving the team an advantage during combat.
If You're Happy and You Know It || Enhance
After using the technique at the beginning of the battle, activates the Numinosity status, which lasts for 3 turns.
Hundred Rockets || Burst
Deals quantum damage to the selected target equal to 15-30% of max HP. Additionally deals quantum damage to nearby enemies, which is 7,5-15% of max HP.
Where'd the Gifts Go || Support
Grants the Numinosity status for 3 turns. The duration of this effect is reduced by 1 turn at the start of each unit's action. While the status is active, penetration of all types of allied resistance is increased by 12-24%.
Guess Who Lives Here || AoE (120 Energy)
Creates a zone and deals quantum damage to all enemies equal to 15-30% of max HP. While the zone exists, enemies receive 15-30% more damage. After an ally attacks, deals additional quantum damage to the target with the highest health among all mobs hit, amounting to 6-12% of max HP, 1 additional time for each monster hit. The zone remains active for 2 turns. Its duration is reduced by 1 turn at the beginning of each character action.
Passive Skills
Tribbie's passive skills include a talent, which allows the heroine to inflict even more damage during a battle at the expense of her allies.
Busy as Tribbie || AoE
After one of the allies uses the super ability, she carries out a bonus attack and deals quantum damage to all enemies equal to 9-18% of max HP. The effect works no more than 1 time for each character.
When casting her ultimate, the number of bonus hits for all team members is reset. If an enemy dies before the bonus hit is cast, it is triggered on new targets entering the battlefield.
Leveling Order
Super Ability > Skill/Talent > Basic Attack
Recommended skill improvement sequence:
- Ultimate - one of the main sources of damage, as well as a key boost for allies in the form of increased damage inflicted on enemies.
- Skill и talent — are leveled up depending on which task is the highest priority. For example, if the messenger acts only as a support, then preference is given to the skill. If you need to deal more damage with a bonus attack in an area, you can first increase the talent level.
- Basic attack - not particularly important for the support position in terms of leveling, but allows you to deal more damage to multiple targets, restore energy and skill points while the Numinosity status is active.
Traces
Total stat gains from traces:
- Crit dmg - 37,3%;
- crit chance – 12%;
- HP - 10%.
| Crit dmg +5,3% (level 1) | |||
| Lamb Outside the Wall...: After performing a talent bonus attack, damage dealt increases by 72%. The effect can stack 3 times and lasts for 3 turns. | Crit chance +2,7% (A2) | Crit dmg +5,3% (A3) | |
| HP+4% (A3) | |||
| Glass Ball with Wings!: While the zone created by the super ability is active, Max HP increases by an amount equal to 9% of the sum of Max HP of all allies. | Crit dmg +8% (A3) | Crit chance +4% (A5) | |
| Crit dmg +8% (A5) | |||
| Pebble at Crossroads?: At the start of the battle, restores 30 energy to herself. After attacking allies, receives an additional 1,5 energy for each target hit. | HP+6% (A6) | Crit. chance +5,3% (level 75) | Crit dmg +10,7% (level 80) |
Eidolons

The best Eidolons of Tribbie are E1, E2 and E4:
- The first constellation Allows you to deal more damage with your superpower after allies hit enemies, which has a positive effect on your team's combat potential. And true damage is added, which is fixed.
- The second constellation Is also linked to the ultimate and directly enhances this ability. Additionally, when enemies take damage from the zone, it deals additional damage.
- The fourth one gives the squad the ability to ignore 18% of enemy defense, which in total significantly increases incoming DPS on enemy targets. However, the Numinosity status from a skill or technique must be active for this to work.
If you want to invest in a character as a F2P player, it is recommended to stop at E2.
| E1 | While the ult zone is active and after allies attack enemies, true damage equal to 24% of that attack's total damage is dealt to enemies that took additional damage from the zone. |
| E2 | The additional damage dealt by the zone is increased by 120% of the initial damage. After the zone is triggered, additional damage is dealt once more. |
| E3 | Super Ability Level +2. Max Level - 15. Basic Attack Level +1. Max Level - 10. |
| E4 | While Numinosity is active, allies ignore 18% of enemy targets' defense. |
| E5 | Skill level +2. Talent level +2. Max level - 15. |
| E6 | When the heroine uses the super ability, automatically performs a bonus talent attack against all enemies. The damage dealt by the bonus attack increases by 729%. |
How to play Tribbie in HSR

The Maiden of Janusopolis's gameplay isn't exactly standard for a representative of the Path of Harmony, as she combines two roles at once, thereby expanding her range of capabilities during battle. Specifically, her abilities allow her to simultaneously strengthen her allies and deal with enemies.
It is worth noting that the heroine is able to take action quickly or slowly depending on the chosen build. However, this does not have a significant impact on the final sequence of actions - only the damage inflicted changes to a greater extent.
The main task is still to activate the ultimate every other turn. A similar outcome can be achieved with the help of allies (thanks to the mechanics of the third trace, which gives energy for the attacks of partners) or independently, if you have the necessary equipment and stats.
Tribbie's rotation is as follows:
- It is recommended to start with the technique, due to which the Numinosity status will immediately appear at the beginning of the battle for 3 turns. This will save skill points for the team and will allow you not to wait for the turn for the buff to start working.
- When the turn comes, use mainly the basic attack. The need for the skill arises when there is a lack of speed/energy in combination with allies who do not activate the third trace so often.
- Later, to constantly maintain the status of Numinosity, it will be necessary to alternate 1 skill with 2 normal attacks. This option allows you to make your squad positive in terms of skill point consumption.
- The superpower is used when it is ready - ideally no later than 2 turns after the previous activation. The ult not only applies a buff, but also resets the number of bonus hits after allies use their superpowers once.
Is The Character Worth Pulling?

Tribbie is a legendary heroine of the Path of Harmony in Honkai: Star Rail, offering buffs that increase penetration of all resistance types and overall damage. These buffs directly impact damage output, allowing the Amphoreus messenger to be used with virtually any DPS character. However, she's not considered a classic support, as she has offensive abilities in her arsenal. Specifically, she deals damage with her ultimate ability and her talent's bonus attack.
For maximum effectiveness, it's important to consistently use the superpower. Partners can assist with this thanks to the trace that restores energy when they hit enemy targets. Thus, the Maiden of Janusopolis works great with AoE damage dealers, as this allows her to frequently ult without active participation from the heroine herself. At the same time, she is still able to take the initiative and utilize a "speed" build, which will be useful in fights against fewer targets.
To sum it up, this character is worth picking if you need a unit with versatile buffs. Specifically, she'll be one of the best supports for The Herta and Castorice thanks to the synergy between their mechanics. However, if desired, she can be a support in any group and bring value there. This even works with single-target units, provided the build is adjusted for increased speed.
Which is better: signature or E1
Let's take a closer look at the features offered by the Eidolon and Signature Cone:
- E1 is a very strong const that allows you to deal additional true damage while the super ability zone is active. This helps increase the overall DPS of the entire team, and also makes the heroine stronger against larger enemies, since the damage is concentrated on the target with the highest health pool.
- The signature is primarily aimed at simplifying the build by increasing crits and energy regeneration. However, it will also be useful for some squads if the main DD also cares about crits. This is a great option for a classic build, and it gives the opportunity to ult closer to the beginning of the fight.
Overall, the Cone really makes building process more comfortable. However, the first Eidolon is a versatile and powerful buff for the entire party, regardless of the party composition or the content being tackled. Plus, there are other great options, like 4⭐ Dance! Dance! Dance! or 3⭐ Meshing Cogs.
