В Wuthering Waves The closed beta test for version 3.6 has begun, with a release scheduled for August 20th. The final summer update will introduce two legendary resonators: Sword Master Qingxiao and Sorcerer Jingran. Beta test participants shared information about the new characters' mechanics and showed off their combat animations.
Qingxiao (Aero, one-handed sword) — a hyper-carry who plays the Tune Strain style (like Luke Herrsen). She has a mixed damage output, benefiting from both the Basic and Heavy Attack bonuses, as well as the Resonant Release bonuses. During combat, she switches between the two forms and gradually becomes stronger by accumulating special marks. Her signature allies are currently Dania and Morny.
Jingran (Fusion, wide blade) — a primary damage dealer who relies on HP but converts this stat into attack power/healing. He deals damage with heavy attacks and, when using his ultimate, spends his own health to enter a buffed state. His best teammates are shielders (like Juno and Brant) — he gains stacks when allies apply shields and further increases their damage with his outro.
