The developers decided to stir up players' interest Wuthering Waves The new version, which launches on September 30th, officially revealed animations for Hsin and Suomin's abilities. Judging by the gameplay, the characters interact closely with each other and take turns entering the arena, acting as damage dealers.
Their gameplay is reminiscent of the Frolova/Cantarella duo. Therefore, the girls will be the best partners at release, with Rover (Electro) taking the third spot in the squad.
Both heroines use coordinated attacks and are capable of damaging enemies outside of combat. Guardian Mengzhou has a neutral fox form, two permanent combat modes, and three phases. Using Resonant Release, she summons an entire city, and also transforms into a shapeshifting area where she supports the active ally with additional attacks and likely applies stacks of Electro Flare.
Hsin doesn't offer any direct buffs and relies primarily on her own damage, though she can defer to other heroes during rotation. Suomin, on the other hand, is more versatile and offers buffs to her team: increasing her Electric damage and enhancing her Resonance skill. In combat, she uses her umbrella as a weapon and is useful not only for the Guardian but also for units that primarily deal damage with skills or Electric elements.

Yeah, they're churning them out just for the road, where you can only collect so many cooldowns. And the ultimates are just Armageddon, except if you don't have a signature, stats, or a bunch of signature-related packs, and you screw up your rotation with crazy enemies while simultaneously using up all your buffs, you'll get a fart in a puddle on the way out. Vuvka is becoming more and more like a piano player. And Suomin is a dead ringer for Chisa, only she swings and clamps with a barber's tool, and this one has an umbrella, and their combat purposes are essentially the same. The lack of a untethered animation is even more annoying: you clamp Lucilla's film drain for the final ultimate, and the only thing your enemies get is a ton of slaps. Same with Qingxiao: you charge your sword with a clamp, and it gets hit by everything nearby, it's crazy.
I agree 100%. Vuvka is increasingly talking about timings, intro/outro rotations, and spins on the signal (thank goodness, without the 50/50 nonsense). I'm starting to get annoyed by Kuro's desire to make one team on Sub-DD with DD, relying on a support who can't be split between four teams. Morny says hello. Hello, the Guardian has at least three alternatives, but how many does Morny have?
A suie-sui alternative. That's not really the problem; Kuro will pour a pack for every DD/BIS, don't worry.
Oh my god. Who would have thought you couldn't just press buttons randomly? Just so you know, you probably don't know, but in any other game, the enemy can interrupt a charged attack just as easily. Similarly, in Genshin, you can first cancel Syanka's ult, then Bennett's, and take zero damage from her Shashenwagen. Or, in another game, you could cancel Bennett's ult first, then the other buttons, and by the time MindD hits the field, Bennett's ult is already dead. 😀
What the hell? WoW has multi-layered combat; it's not like Genshin Impact, where you just throw down your ults and E-classes in one sequence and start bashing. The entire fight is on crazy timing, with strict adherence to the intro-outro, especially if you haven't farmed your stats in Echo. Echo is a whole other bummer; in other games, you can farm tuners for leveling up in various ways, but here you can farm salmon and tuna, because Echoes are free. And once again, getting crap stats and wasting precious tuners, you can't properly level up the characters you need.
God, no one cares about snapshots anymore, especially for Syanka. The current Genshin game is all about knocking out a signature damage dealer with signature supports and smashing the enemy's E-class, or holding down the clicker while a newly invented reaction hits the enemy directly, bypassing all the previously stated conditions.
There's nothing to compare it to directly with Vuva, because Vuva, like a steam locomotive, has three pressure gauges and two bars before you put your character on the field, otherwise you'll lose 20% of your damage.
What? What bars are you even looking at in WoW? There's only ONE character in the game whose bar builds up outside of combat (Zani). All the other characters in the game don't care when you deploy them. The only thing you need to do is swap outro on the two remaining characters. And starting with 3.x, you don't even need to Quickswap between them, since absolutely all characters are played with a 1-2-3 rotation. And with Quickswapping, not only won't your damage increase, it'll actually decrease by half. The same goes for character rotations. You can't speed up the rotation of almost any of the new characters by canceling, so you're using the same string every time.
Genshin, of course, was also casualized, but at least there is some variety in combos, and you ideally need to keep an eye on timing and proper rotations on certain characters.
Honestly, Hsin was a bit of a disappointment. I expected more from the first playable Sentinel, but only her ultimate delivers a wow factor. All the other animations look weak and not up to par with other 3.x characters, and even lose out to some 2.x characters. In my opinion, Suoming looks more impressive. Of course, some say they didn't show all the animations, but if that's the case, then whoever recorded the gameplay did a poor job.
