Aquaglider is a tool in Subnautics 2, which helps you swim faster and stay at depth longer. It's the first major upgrade, along with the oxygen tank and fins. As with other technologies, learning how to craft it requires finding fragments of the item in several locations. This guide will show you the locations closest to the starting point for quickly unlocking the equipment.
How to unlock the Aquaglider blueprint in Subnautica 2
In total, there are over fifteen aquagliders scattered across the seabed in Act I. Three of them are easy to find and scan during the first mission, once you've acquired the digestive adaptation.
A fragment in a cave opposite a coral pillar
From the escape pod, swim 345°, using the large coral pillar as a guide. After passing the debris, look to the right. Swim into the cave, the entrance to which is marked with a blue flashlight. Inside is a container containing a glider.
A fragment of Anita's black box
Start tracking the "Anita's Black Box" point of interest. At the roots of the Angel Comb Jelly, you'll find a colonist station and an aquaglider in a container on the right.
Fragment under the plateau in the north
Standing at the second glider near Ctenophore, sail towards 330°, aiming for the large ruined camp. There's another station under the large flat rock to the left. Examine the boxes on it and scan the tool.
How to make an Aquaplaner
To craft the starting tools in Subnatica 2, you need a basic base with a working fabricator. Place a corridor under the capsule, equip it with solar panels, and build a workbench. You can craft an aquaglider there using the following recipe:
- Silver ×1.
- Set of wires ×1.
- Oil ×1 - produced from the light-bearing rotten mushroom.
- Simple battery ×1.
The colonists will be able to study this and other technologies interactive map with marks of all drawings and points of interest.
