How to get to the Old Test Site
The Old Proving Ground area can be opened during a new exploration continuation mission. "Market of the Future II" from the "Awakening from Winter Sleep". Along with this territory, another location with chests will become available - Pillar of Creation.
Please note that the first floor will only be accessible after completing the task "Victory! Interstellar holiday! from event "Aether Wars" and chains "Interstellar Festival-Tournament". An attempt to pass without complying with the mentioned condition will not be successful: the guard will stop you at the elevator and ask you to come later due to preparations for the final of the tournament.
Where to find all the chests in the Old Proving Grounds in Honkai Star Rail: map and route
In the Old Range you can collect 5 regular chests. The area is safe: there are no monsters here, and all rewards can be obtained without going through difficult challenges or puzzles.
Chest #1 (Regular)
Go to the Victory Celebration Center and look at the area on the left. Not far from the festival awardee, Barry, you will notice a chest.

Exit to the balcony to the right of the descent and you will find a new treasury near the fence.

Go down the stairs and immediately turn right, there will be a chest near the wall with the pipes.

The last treasure on the second floor of the location can be found to the left of the same staircase that was used earlier.

Next, take the elevator and visit the first floor of the training ground, where the main battles take place. Check the passage on the right to pick up the last chest.
