Merchants in Pal world They offer many different things for purchase that are not so easy to find in the open world. In addition to the usual sellers that are found in villages, there are also smugglers in the game - they sell illegally caught Pals of rare species, hiding somewhere on the outskirts, under waterfalls and in mines.
On the black market you can buy well-pumped, high-level companions, which is why it is so important to know the location of at least a few underground NPCs. In this guide, we'll tell you where all the merchants in Palworld are located and what they sell, and we've also added an interactive map so you can easily find the nearest merchants.
Wandering Traders in Palworld
Wandering Traders are NPCs that can be found in peaceful settlements. They follow the law and do not offer to buy contraband goods. They can change their location and appear randomly on the map or player base.
When meeting them, it is better to remove the weapon from your hands so as not to accidentally open fire and kill an ordinary resident, otherwise the nearby guards will quickly react and start a shootout: then no deal will be made.
Talk to the merchant by pressing "F" button and get to the point by selecting the option from the list "Buy" or "Sell", then a menu will open where you can view products or offer something from your inventory.
Always carry with you gold coins. They don’t weigh anything, so they don’t overload the character, but if you accidentally meet a merchant, you may regret leaving all the accumulated goods at the base. If you don’t have enough money for some item, just hand over to the seller the unnecessary materials lying around in your backpack.
What do traveling traders sell?
There are several types of traveling traders:
- Red — trade in drawings and various consumables, trophies, and ingredients.
- Blue — they sell only Palov, the fishing of which is permitted by law.
- Green — offer equipment, weapons and ammunition.

Underground traders in Palworld
Black merchants in Palworld are equally important NPCs, resembling hooded executioners with a sinister grin. They buy and sell illegal and rare companions, all scattered across the archipelago's many islands and sometimes hard to find.
For example, merchants from the mines are not located exactly at the coordinates indicated on the map - the entrance to their dungeon is usually located nearby, but may be hidden from view by foreign objects.
Like regular traveling merchants, smugglers will happily buy captured companions. You can sell them unwanted creatures to make money. The selling price of the buddies will be depend on their rarity and level.
Humans sell just like fells - characters of higher level and rarer types will typically cost three times as much as beasts of similar strength. However, active and passive skills (including the “Happy” status) do not affect the price.
If you accidentally open fire and attack one of the underground traders, then prepare for almost instant destruction - the smugglers will not spare any ammunition in the machine gun to kill the character.
When captured or defeated, a black merchant drops gold Keys, which will be needed to open rare chests with valuable loot. A killed NPC will be restored the next game day, so after the fight you can visit him again.
What do black traders sell?
The list of goods changes frequently, as these are contraband Palas and their purchase is prohibited by local laws. There is a fixed set of buddies that can be sold by an underground merchant in Palworld, however, the stock of the shop on a given day is determined by random way.
Prices for creatures vary depending on their rarity and level. Hard to find Pals will cost more (like Relaxaurus) compared to common buddies like Daedrim. Below is a list of possible products.

How to update a merchant's assortment
If you bought all the Pals offered or didn’t like the assortment, you can update it without leaving the location. For this open the merchant menuto check the products.
Then re-enter the game world, remaining in the same place - when you enter the game again, the store is automatically updated. You can stock up on coins and buy all the creatures you need from one NPC, in which case you won’t have to waste time looking for other merchants.
