Resident Evil Requiem — the ninth installment in the popular survival horror franchise, set in a dilapidated Raccoon City. FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft sets out to investigate a mysterious death from an unknown disease, but the situation turns out to be far worse than her superiors anticipated.
The graphics and detailed world significantly increased system requirements, and the presence of Denuvo only worsens optimization. For this and many other reasons, fans are eagerly awaiting a crack for the acclaimed Resident Evil Requiem, which is protected by the Anti-Tamper DRM.

When will Resident Evil Requiem be hacked?
The chances of removing Denuvo and the time it takes to crack the protection in RE: Requiem depend on several factors:
- Interest in the game is enormous—the entire Resident Evil franchise attracts audiences and, consequently, hackers. Previous installments were successfully released on torrents in relatively short periods of time.
- The game does not have a network mode: it is much easier to remove protection from single-player projects.
- Capcom always uses DRM to maintain profits, and most of the studio's latest titles are still protected by anti-piracy software. Meanwhile, major projects Dragon's Dogma 2 and Street Fighter 6, which were released more than a year ago, are still not hacked.
- Denuvo is evolving—the 2025-2026 versions are several times more complex than the previous ones.
- The hacker community is currently in a slump: many renowned pirates have retired, and the new generation hasn't yet mastered the craft sufficiently to breach modern security.
For a more accurate assessment, it's worth analyzing the Anti-Tamper bypass times in other major titles of recent years:

Having looked at the table, we can draw a number of conclusions:
- In 2025-2026, many popular projects were released, and the competition for hacking is huge, but there are not many skilled people who can remove Denuvo.
- No hacker has announced plans to crack Requiem, so it's likely that no one will be attacking the DRM anytime soon.
- Since 2024, not a single major title has been cracked using Anti-Tamper. The isolated cases noted above are either developer errors or Denuvo removal by the companies themselves.
On the day of the release of Resident Evil: Requiem, a hacker with the nickname KiriGiri posted Hypervisor V3 to bypass protection.
An alternative and faster way to immerse yourself in the story of the new installment is to purchase a digital copy using the current purchase methods:
It'll be a long wait for Resident Evil Requiem to be hacked. The franchise is in high demand and generates significant revenue for the company, so there's no point in hoping for Denuvo to quit voluntarily.

The Resident Evil Requiem hack is complete nonsense. They didn't post a protection removal, but rather attempts to bypass Denuvo's constant requests via the hypervisor, which is essentially a hack. Denuvo is a complex security system that is physically impossible to bypass in a day. (The hypervisor method is very insecure and can harm your PC.) I recommend waiting for a full crack or for the developers to remove Denuvo.
We realized our mistake. It's been fixed!
RE Requiem isn't cracked, and bypassing the protection isn't considered a full-fledged hack. Fix it.
