How to start Dehya's Manticore Legends Quest: Lion's Blood in Genshin Impact
The quest is unlimited and will become available after updates 3.5. It can be found in the quest log ("J") by clicking on "Legend Set" and then selecting Manticore. Chapter I To open you need:
- to reach 40 adventure ranks;
- complete the Archons quest: Volume 3, chapter 5 Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises.
- to have in stock 1 legend key, which can be obtained by completing 8 daily quests in any region.
After fulfilling the specified requirements, you can open the tab with legend quests (lower left corner in the quest log). To start the quest, click on the character icon and pay 1 key to unlock it, then turn on the tracking so that the marker leads to the starting point of the quest.
Shade Upon Red Silk
Walking through the market, the Traveler meets Dehya and Dunyarzada. Dehya seems worried, and during the conversation it turns out that she is disturbed by the Daqan al-Ahmar mercenary squad, which is led by her father. To protect herself and her loved ones, she decides to deal with them, and sends her guys to collect information. Escort Dehya to the Caravan Ribat to help her.
Go to the Grand Bazaar
Move to the teleport near Sumeru Academy and sign in Grand Bazaarwhere the cutscene will start. Traveler and Paimon are walking through the market where they buy food. While walking, they run into Dehya and Dunyarzada.
During the conversation, Dunyarzada notices that Dehya is behaving strangely. The mercenary admits that there are problems in the ranks of the Hermits now. The unit that is harassing her is called Daqan al-Ahmar and they are subordinate to the "Relics of Deshret", a group of notoriety.
Dehya's allies are busy gathering information about this unit, but she needs to join them. The meeting will happen in Caravan Ribat.
Head to the Caravan Ribat and find out the details
Teleport to Caravan Ribat and talk to the members of the Flame Beasts: Harun, Khalaf and Hisham. They report that mercenaries from Daqan al-Ahmar are plundering caravans in order to earn mora to spend on food and weapons for more robberies.
Dehya decides that it is necessary to intercept one of the caravans in order to get information.
Set up an ambush on a trade route and wait for a caravan to show up
Harun shared a map of the route of the caravan, the interception point of which is located near the dungeon The Dark Valley. Move to it and approach the indicated point.
Dehya will say that you need to wait for the evening. After a short cut-scene, several Hermits with a pack yak will appear on the road. Fight them with a trial Daehyu.
Delay the caravan for clues and talk to Sattar
When the battle is over, the mercenary tries to interrogate one of the Hermits, Sattar, but he refuses to give information.
Inspect the goods and look for clues
The traveler is forced to look for clues in the carts and bags nearby, where he finds the Caravan Records, in which Dehya discovers the name of Dunyarzada's father and decides to meet with her in order to clear up all the misunderstandings.
Annals of the Scarlet Sands
Dehya returns with strange news from his informants: it turns out that Dunyarzada's father is supplying goods to Daqan al-Ahmar. After discussion, the company decides not to jump to conclusions, but to ask Dunyarzada's father everything personally. He tells Dehya the truth about why she was accepted as Dunyarzada's bodyguard. Travel to Sumeru to meet Dunyarzada
Teleport back to Sumeru Academy and move northwest towards home, near which stands Dunyarzada. The girl immediately noticed that her friends looked very strange, so she immediately asked what happened.
Dehya honestly told her the whole truth. Dunyarzada replied that she had long suspected that her father was doing something secret from her, since it was very strange to hire Dehya, because there were much more suitable candidates. She said that she would bring her father (Shahzaman) to speak with her and the Traveler.
Go to the old place and wait for Dunyarzada
The meeting takes place "at the old place" - in the port of Sumeru. Dunyarzada, as promised, brought her father, who told the whole story.
It turned out that Kusaila had saved Shahzaman from other Hermits a long time ago, for which he thanked him with work in the city. Dehya's father talked about how the Relics of Deshret were a group of villains, so he wanted to isolate his daughter from participating in their affairs by any means.
Shahzaman supported his cause with food and medicine, refusing to send weapons, and also accepted Dehya as Dunyarzada's bodyguard.
Unfortunately, he does not know where Kusaila is now, but he can help find someone who will tell them this.
In the evening, find a mercenary near the tavern
Approach the tavern in the port and in the Paimon menu rewind time to evening. A man named Javad sits at a table to the left of the tavern. He says he knows where Daqan al-Ahmar's squad last was, but he's not sure if they've stayed in the same place.

Head to Deshret's Relic Hideout
Go to the dungeon, which is located near hajj nisuta. You can get to it either from the teleport on the mountain in the lands of Ashavan, or by rising from the dungeon city of gold.
Idrisi will say that, despite the weakened state of the detachment, they do not know how many people they have left, so caution will not hurt.
Go deep into the shelter and move on
Follow Daqan al-Ahmar's squad to get deeper into the ruins. Walk along the corridor, after which you will fall into a small hall where you need to fight the Hermits.
After the battle, a cut-scene will start. Idris and his team saw a large door and hurried through it, but the passage closed behind them.
Find another way
Dehya and the Traveler are forced to find another way inside the ruins. Go to the room with the purple beam puzzle. Approach the source of the beam and press "Aboveso that the beam hits into a yellow crystal, and then "Change color” so that it becomes the same color as the crystal.
The door will open, giving access to the corridor with pristine designguarding a regular chest.
In the next room is another riddle with rays. Go to the center block and rotate it so that the topmost purple crystal is facing the left beam source and the middle yellow one is facing the beam in the middle.
The block will go down. Interact with the central beam to move it to the very bottom and open the door.
Next are two halls with pristine structures. Defeat opponents to get chests and move on.
After the battle, Dehya and the Traveler enter another room with a riddle. Go to the beam on the right and click "Change color».
Then go to the structures on the left and interact with the one closer to the wall - press twice "Above". The center block will lower, so approach the same beam source again and change its color to purple.
Return to the opposite side and change beam to yellow. The door will open.
Fight the last units of Deshret's Relics
Ahead is a huge hall. Mishal will order his squad to attack Dehya and the Traveler. Fight until you fills the bar at the top of the screen.
After the battle, discuss with Dehya what to do next as the enemies keep coming. The Mercenary suggested that the Traveler distract them while she destroys the platform. The situation was saved by the Idrisi detachment, which gave a numerical advantage and forced Mishal to retreat. Now the heroes need to go upstairs, where the remnants of the enemy squad are located.
Go to the top floor
Tikriti found the mechanism and lowered the lift. Take the precious chest and activate the lift. Upstairs is Shahbut, a member of Deshret's Relics, who at first said he didn't remember who Kusaila was, but then told the squad that Dehya's father tricked them by pretending to be wounded in order to set fire to the archive.
Go to the archive
The archive is on the left. Enter the corridor and go down the stairs, and then enter the door highlighted by the quest marker.
Inside there is nothing but ashes, but Dehya found her father's cane, inside of which was a toy sword that he often played with her as a child and which reminded her of her time with him.
Return to Sumeru City and console Dehya at the tavern
After the members of the Relics returned, Deshret was brought to trial, while Daqan al-Ahmar turned themselves in. Dehya was depressed because she still didn't understand how she should feel about her father, so Paimon decided to have a small feast at the tavern.
Stroll through the Grand Bazaar for some distraction
Later, Dunyarzada joined them and offered to take a walk around the Grand Bazaar. There, the guys were approached by Sattar, a hermit whom Dehya and the Traveler had met while inspecting the caravan.
He said that the wounded members of the squad gave him Dehya's father's chest so that he would return it to her, since all the contents would be confiscated. Inside it were the things that Kusaila had collected, as well as his letter, revealing to Dehya the secret of her origin.
