In HSR, Seele is a legendary follower of the Path of the Hunt. The main specialization of the heroine is fighting single targets, usually weak to the quantum element, if there are no supports capable of imposing vulnerabilities. Thanks to her mobility and good damage, she effectively copes with elite mobs, for example, in the "Forgotten Hall" or "Apocalyptic Shadow".
However, the heroine is not necessarily used exclusively in battle with one enemy, since her talent allows her to take an additional turn after defeating the enemy. This feature opens up the possibility for the unit to fight against a cluster of small monsters, which will also be useful in situations where bosses summon assistants.

Hero's story
The girl is a character from Belobog, one of the first places the Trailblazer visits. In a harsh, underground world, people try to survive by any means necessary. It was there that the Wildfire faction was born.

The organization was formed to make life easier for the locals. The heroine is one of the high-ranking members of this faction, and also a good fighter with an iron will. Her character reflects her hard fate - she is straightforward and not used to relying on others. At the same time, behind the external toughness a vulnerable and vulnerable nature is hidden, which had to put on "heavy armor" to protect the city and its inhabitants.
How to Get the Character

Seele can be dropped in the "Event Warp: Character" named "Butterfly on Swordtip". Receiving multiple copies of the heroine unlocks her eidolons.

How Seele's skills work

The heroine's abilities are aimed at inflicting quantum damage to single targets. She also has a unique Stealth effect, which makes her invisible and allows her to ambush enemies, after applying a buff to herself that allows her to additionally increase all damage from the start.
Her key feature is a dynamic combat style. Thanks to speed buffs and additional actions, the heroine easily confronts almost any opponent. In general, the girl is strong in single-target content, but begins to noticeably lag behind where she needs to cope with groups of enemies.
Active skills
The technique Phantom Illusion | Enhance
Becomes invisible for 20 seconds. While the effect is active, she cannot be detected by enemies. If she starts a fight with a strike while invisible, she gains a buff.
Basic attack Thwack | Single Strike
Deals quantum damage to a target enemy based on attack power (50% at level 1 and 130% at level 10).
Skill Sheathed Blade| Single Strike
Deals quantum damage to a target enemy based on attack power (110% at level 1 and 220% at level 10), while increasing speed by 25% for 2 turns.
Ultimate Butterfly Flurry | Single Strike
Gains a buff and deals quantum damage to a target enemy based on attack power (255% at level 1 and 510% at level 10).
Passive Skills
Talent Resurgence | Enhance
Grants a buff and an extra turn after defeating an enemy. While buffed, all damage dealt is increased for 1 turn (40% buff at level 1 and 100% at level 10). The talent will not activate if the enemy is defeated during the extra turn from the talent.
Leveling Order
Skill ≥ Superpower > Talent > Basic Attack
It is recommended to upgrade abilities in the following order:
- The levels of skill, superpower and talent are increased side-by-side to the maximum value. If there are not enough resources, stick to the order shown above.
- The basic strike is not used very often, but in some situations it may be necessary. Therefore, it should also be leveled, although last.
Traces
Total amount of increase in stats:
| CRIT DMG | + 24 % |
| ATK | + 28 % |
| DEF | + 12,5 % |
| Nightshade: When HP is less than or equal to 50%, the chance of being attacked is reduced. | Lacerate: Increases Quantum Resistance Break by 20% while Amplificated. | Rippling Waves: After using a basic attack, the next action is advanced by 20%. |
| Crit. damage +5,3%. | Attack Power +6%. | Defense +7,5%. |
| Attack Power +4%. | Crit. damage +8%. | Crit. damage +10,7%. |
| Attack Power +8% |
Apart from the considered passive skills, you can increase attack power by 4% and 6%, defense by 5%.
Eidolons
All consts:
| number | Name | Effects |
| 1 | Extirpating Slash | Critical chance increases by 15% when dealing damage to an enemy whose HP is below or exactly 80%. |
| 2 | Dancing Butterfly | The speed boost from Sheathed Blade can stack up to 2 times. |
| 3 | Butterfly Flurry | Sheathed Blade skill level +2. Resurgence talent level +2. Max. level: 15. |
| 4 | Flitting Phantasm | After defeating an enemy, restores 15 energy. |
| 5 | Piercing Shards | Butterfly Flurry Superpower Level +2. Thwack Basic attack level +1. Max. level: 10. |
| 6 | Shattering Shambles | After using the ultimate, the selected enemy is inflicted with the Butterfly Flurry status for 1 turn. When the enemy under this effect is attacked, they are dealt additional quantum damage equal to 15% of Seele's super ability. If they are attacked by other party members, the buff will not work. When the heroine is unable to fight, the status is removed. |
Seele's best eidolons are E2,E4 and E6.
- The second eidolon: After using the skill, increases speed by a total of 50%, which is why the base stat will be approximately 173. Considering the character's initially high speed stat without the bonuses from relics and light cone, this is a very strong buff.
- The fourth eidolon: Gives a nice bonus in the form of energy recovery. Since the unit makes an extra turn after killing an enemy and gets +15 energy due to the eidolon bonus, it will be able to activate the ultimate much more often.
- The sixth eidolon: Allows you to deal even more damage after using your ultimate on an enemy. Combined with high speed and an energy buff, the character becomes almost invincible, leaving no enemies even a chance to take a turn.
If you don't want to spend a lot of currency on warps, we recommend that you stop at E2. This is not only the most accessible buff, but also the most significant in terms of increasing the character's combat potential.
How to play Seele

The character deals huge damage to one target with her abilities, so she copes well with large enemies or bosses. Thanks to the talent "Resurgence", she easily destroys small groups of enemies, since after killing one of them she instantly receives a boost and an additional action.
In most cases she takes the key position in the team. Although she can be combined with almost all characters, for maximum exposure she needs support that will provide her with buffs, or, conversely, weaken her enemies. In addition, do not forget about her “gluttony” in terms of spending skill points and take this into account during the battle.
While playstyle may vary depending on the build, team, or opponents, a general principle for building Seele's rotation can be identified:
- Before the battle, use the technique Phantom Illusionto enter Stealth and ambush the enemy.
- If there are several enemies, use the skill Sheathed Blade on an enemy with medium HP or a normal attack Thwack on a small enemy (ideally they should have quantum vulnerability). After defeating one enemy, the talent “Resurgence” will trigger, which will allow you to perform another action.
- Continue attacking enemy targets with the skill until the current turn ends.
- Once enough energy has accumulated, use your superpower Butterfly Flurry. Remember that the ultimate can be activated at any time, regardless of whose turn it is.
- When it's your support heroes' turn, use skills or ultimates to apply buffs to your allies, particularly Seele, or negative effects to your opponents.
- Continue repeating the rotation until one of the largest monsters remains on the battlefield. Subsequently, use all your abilities on them until you win.
Basic attack is best used if you can obviously defeat the enemy to trigger the talent. Otherwise, try to use the skill to maximize the damage dealt.
There is also a trick that will allow you to deal even more damage in one turn. For this the ultimate must be fully charged or close to it. The procedure is as follows:
- Defeat an enemy using a skill or basic attack. Then activate your ult before your action ends, while the attack animation is in progress.
- Use your superpower to destroy the next enemy.
- Defeat another target by reusing a skill or basic attack.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Having understood the principle of operation of abilities, eidolons and traces, you can identify the strengths and weaknesses of the character.
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| High base speed allows you to perform actions more often, and also increases the chances that the heroine will go first. | Low base health and defense, which makes the heroine vulnerable to fatal damage. |
| Huge damage to single targets gives an advantage in battles against bosses and elite opponents. | Consumes a lot of skill points. This is due not only to the high speed, but also to the need to use the skill every turn. |
| The technique “Phantom Illusion” applies the Stealth effect. Thanks to this, you can avoid enemy ambushes and apply a boost before the battle. | In more difficult parts of the content, she especially needs support heroes who will provide buffs to her and/or weaken her enemies. |
| In addition to her own high speed value, it is additionally increased by 25% by the skill "Sheathed Blade", and the second eidolon boosts the skill up to 50%. | There are no AoE skills, which makes the character less effective against a group of large opponents. In such cases, her team requires heroes of Erudition or Destruction. |
| After defeating an enemy, you get an additional action - convenient if you need to defeat several small monsters. | |
| Quickly accumulates energy to activate superpowers through frequent actions. |
Best Seele Builds in Honkai: Star Rail

Being a primary damage dealer that focuses on dealing high burst damage, the unit is effective in content against single targets. However, thanks to her talent, she is strong not only in solo targeting, but also in scenarios where you need to defeat several small or medium monsters. In general, any Seele build in HSR assumes that the character has the following characteristics:
- Critical parameters and attack power are key indicators that affect the character's DPS. Therefore, when leveling up, you should focus on them.
- Despite her high speed, external enhancements will not be superfluous. But it is best to pick it up in the lower stats, giving preference to attack in boots. The exception may be equipping the "In the Night" signature.
Recommended Stats
Main stats to look for in relics:
| Relic | Main characteristic |
| Head | HP (fixed) |
| Hands | Attack Power (fixed) |
| Body | Crit. chance/crit. damage |
| Boots | ATK |
| Planar Sphere | Quantum Bonus - priority / Attack Power - situational |
| Link Rope | ATK |
For additional characteristics, give priority to:
- critical hit chance and critical value;
- attack power;
- speed.
The optimal final values of stats that are desirable to have on the character:
- ATK: 2-500 and more.
- Speed: 121-134.
- Energy recharge: 100-120%.
- HP: 3000 and more.
- Defense: 900-1000.
- CRIT Rate: 60-70%
- CRIT DMG: 180-200%.
Considering that critical damage increases with the leveling of traces, it is advisable to put more emphasis on the critical hit chance (at least until you reach 70%).
Light Cone Rating
Since the unit follows the Path of the Hunt, she must be equipped with a weapon of the same path. This is due to the fact that characters can only fully use cones that correspond to their Path - otherwise, the passive effect will not activate.
Among the recommended features, we highlight:
- Critical parameters.
- Attack Power.
- Speed (optional).
Additional buffs include effects that increase damage from skills and ults.
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 48-1058 ATK 26-582 DEF 21-463 | Increases crit chance by 18-30%. If the speed is above 100, for every additional 10 units of speed, the damage of the basic attack and skill increases by 6-10%. Crit also increases. superpower damage 12-20%. The effect can stack up to 6 times. | Signature weapon that provides her with everything she needs: gives ATK, a bonus to the chance of a critical hit, increases the damage of the skill, superpower and basic attack. Among the cones, it is the most optimal option for inflicting high damage. In addition, the main condition of the passive effect is always met, since the basic speed is 1 already at level 115. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 26-582 DEF 24-529 | Crit damage is increased by 20-32%. For each existing debuff on an enemy, the owner's crit bonus dealt to that target is increased by an additional amount. 8-12%. This effect can stack up to 3 times. Using the ultimate will inflict the "Disputation" status on the owner, increasing damage dealt by 36-60% and allows the bonus attack to ignore 24-40% of enemy defense. This effect lasts for 2 turns. | A cone of light that provides a guaranteed boost to crit, and also increases outgoing damage from any skills. To fully utilize the bonus, which offers an additional increase in crits, the team must have characters that apply up to 3 debuffs at a time (ideally). |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 48-1058 ATK 26-582 DEF 21-463 | Increases owner's crit bonus by 30-50%. When the owner's basic attack or skill does not deal critical damage, critical chance increases by 36-60% for 1 turn. This effect can only be activated once every 1 turns. | An excellent balanced weapon with a huge increase to the crit. parameter. Provided that the skill or attack do not crit, it additionally increases the chance of a critical hit. With this cone, it makes sense to focus more on crits, leaving crit rate within 50-60%, so that the buff periodically works. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 24-529 DEF 21-463 | Increases crit chance by 8-16% and more on 8-16% against enemies with HP less than or equal to 50%. After defeating an enemy, attack power is increased by 20-40% for 2 turns. | Free Legendary Cone when purchased at Herta's shop. Increases the critical hit chance to 16-32% in total and has high base stats. The only small downside is the requirement to defeat the enemy. Since the unit is most often placed against single targets, the attack buff will not always be activated. At S5, Sleep Like the Dead wins by about 2%. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | When the owner attacks the same enemy multiple times, the damage dealt increases by each time. 8-16%. If the target of the strike changes, the boost will disappear. The effect stacks up to 5 times. | A pretty strong cone for fighting bosses or "fat" mobs due to the gradual increase in damage dealt with each hit. However, it is worth considering that the stats will be harder to balance, since it does not provide crits. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | Increases ATK by 16-32%. Also increases crit chance. hitting 12-24%, if there are 2 or fewer enemies on the battlefield. | Unlike the previous one, this cone is designed for a battle against a small number of targets. At the same time, the bonus to the crit chance does not work in a situation where there is a battle against a group of three or more enemies. Due to her Path, the girl rarely encounters such things, but it is important to consider this before the battle, since crit is a rather important stat. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 38-846 ATK 24-529 DEF 15-330 | Increases crit chance by 12-24%. After crit. hits exist fixed 16-32% Chance to remove one buff from an enemy. The effect can only be activated once per attack. | Quite a high base and increase to crit chance. It is approximately on the same level as the cone "Only Silence Remains". Although it does not increase attack power, this is compensated by the lack of conditions for activating the passive and the probability of removing one buff from the enemy when hitting. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | The wearer's attack power is increased by 12-20%. When the owner makes a crit. hitting an enemy, he receives 1 level of Luck status, which can stack up to 4 times. Each status level the owner has increases his crit. damage by 8-12%. The Luck status is removed at the end of the owner's turn. | A good epic option that is fully revealed in specific conditions. The critical parameter is increased at the moment of critical hits, can be stacked up to 4 times and is removed at the end of the turn. During the skill, the character makes 4 hits and can get a maximum of stacks for the final hit. It’s also worth noting that any buffs received carry over to additional talent actions, which does not count as the end of the turn. For example, a rotation of 4 actions through kills with a skill and an ultimate will be counted as one action. Accordingly, the crit increase will be in effect throughout the entire rotation. damage. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 21-476 DEF 18-396 | At the start of combat, increases speed by 8-12% and damage to 12-24%. When the owner receives damage, this effect disappears. The effect will appear at the end of the next turn. | A weapon that at the start of the battle actually guarantees that the heroine will go first, since she initially has a high base speed. It also gives a nice bonus in the form of increased DPS. However, the effect disappears after receiving damage, so there must be a shielder in the team. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | Increases basic attack and skill damage by 24-48%. This effect will increase by additional 24-48%when the wearer's current energy reaches its maximum level. | Increases the chance to activate the talent by increasing the damage dealt by the attack and the skill. Moreover, when the energy scale is filled to the maximum, an additional bonus is given. To use it, it is advisable to press the ult only after the skill or basic attack, even if it is charged. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐ HP 33-740 ATK 16-370 DEF 12-264 | After defeating an enemy, increases attack power by 24-48% for 3 turns. | Despite the 3☆ rarity, it provides a huge ATK boost on the last awakening. If you manage to achieve a good balance of crits in relics, it can surpass many epic cones in damage. |
What relics and ornaments are needed
Sets should provide increases to the main stats. In addition to crits and attack, this also includes buffs to the quantum element and key skills that are most often used in combat.
Cavern relics
| Name | Effects | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]()
| 2 parts: Increases quantum damage by 10%. 4 parts: When the owner deals damage to the selected enemy, ignores 10% defense. If the target enemy has a Quantum Weakness, the wearer ignores an additional 10% Defense. | The best set of relics due to the quantum bonus. At the same time, there are quite a lot of enemies in the game with a weakness to this element, due to which the 4-piece bonus is also useful in most cases. |
![]() ![]() ![]() | 2 parts: Increases quantum damage by 10%. 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. 2 parts: Increases damage dealt to enemies with Debuffs by 12%. | If you can't get a full set of the Genius, it's best to pair it with one of the following sets that boost attack power or DPS. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases damage dealt to enemies with Debuffs by 12%. 4 parts: Increases Critical Chance by 4%. The owner's Critical Bonus dealt to enemies with at least 2/3 debuffs is increased by 8%/12% respectively. After the owner inflicts debuffs on an enemy, the above effects are increased by 100% for 1 turn. | Alternative equipment that increases damage dealt and provides critical parameters boosts. It is worth considering that the heroine will not be able to independently activate the passive and get a double boost. For this reason, the equipment is considered situational and requires the presence of several debuffers in the team. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases ATK by 12%. 4 parts: Increases the owner's speed by 6% and the damage of his basic attack by 10%. | A versatile set that will suit any DPS unit. Can be used in the early to mid game or combined with the first set for an additional ATK bonus. |
![]() ![]() Messenger Traversing Hackerspace | 2 parts: Increases quantum damage by 10%. 2 parts: Increases speed by 6%. | An alternative option with 2 parts of the speed set. Can be used if the characteristic does not appear in the stats of relics and/or it is not possible to achieve the optimal value of this parameter. |
Planar ornaments
| Name | Effects | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 parts: Critical Hit Chance +8%. If the critical chance is greater than or equal to 70%, the damage of the basic attack and skill is increased by 20%. | The ornaments provide important buffs: critical hit chance, increased skill damage and base hit. Considering that the heroine can perform several actions per turn, it turns out to be an impressive boost. The only condition is that the critical hit chance should be at least 70%. However, this is the optimal indicator to strive for, especially since the set itself increases crit rate. |
![]() | 2 parts: Critical Chance +8%. When the critical chance reaches 50% or higher, the damage of the ultimate and the attack bonus is increased by 15%. | Similar to the previous set with an emphasis on increasing damage from the ultimate. Since the requirement for crit chance is lower (50%), it becomes easier to activate the second part of the passive, but the unit does not have a bonus hit, which is why it is not able to receive all available buffs. |
![]() | 2 parts: Attack power +12%. When the speed reaches 120 units and above, in addition to the attack power + 12%. | Most often, the girl's speed exceeds 120, so she will receive 24% to the attack power, not counting the main and secondary characteristics of other relics. The set will increase her entire DPS, since skills are scaled from ATK. It will be especially useful if you can't get 2 ATK. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases the wearer's attack power by 12%. If the owner's speed is higher than or equal to 135/160, then the damage they deal increases by 12%/18%. | A strengthened version of the previous ornaments. Requires an order of magnitude more speed, so it is recommended for teams with buffers of this characteristic, be it Hanya or Asta. The set can be used independently with E2 and the signature weapon "In the Night", which compensates for the loss of damage from a build with a bias towards speed. |
Team Guide for Seele in HSR
In the team, Seele plays the role of the main DPS hero, which is why the group needs to be built around her, selecting the appropriate supports:
- Path of Harmony for buffing.
- Path of Nihility to weaken opponents.
- Paths of Abundance and Preservation for healing or shielding.
In some situations, characters of Erudition or Destruction may be required, for example, if there is a battle against a cluster of enemies with high health.
Which characters are suitable?
Recommended partners with whom the unit will perform well:
| Character | Path | Damage type | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The best choice among supports, as her buffs perfectly match the needs of the unit: gives an extra turn, removes debuffs, increases attack power, defense and crit damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A representative of Harmony of the highest tier, whose skills are aimed at increasing outgoing damage, crit. damage and attack power. When using the ultimate, advances all allies' action by 100%. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A support that offers buffs to damage, speed, break efficiency, and resistance break of all types of elements. She will help not only to deal more damage, but also to destroy enemy shields much faster. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | F2P buffer of the Path of Harmony, available after completing the Penacony story campaign. The character's mechanics are aimed at increasing damage to enemies in a state of broken vulnerability through the "Backup Dancer" status, which works for three turns of the Trailblazer. The hero also increases the break effect, increasing the damage at the moment of breaking through the enemy's resistance, which significantly speeds up the passage of content with any number of enemies. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Universal support character: combines well not only with heroes who summon independent combat creatures to the battle arena, but also with other representatives of damage-dealing Paths. Increases crit. chance and crit. damage, advances the action by 100%, is a support that is undemanding to skill points, restores energy, and also comprehensively increases outgoing damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The main advantage of Sparkle is not only the increase in crit. damage, as well as total outgoing damage. The Masked Fool directly affects the increase in the number of skill points used during battle, and also contributes to their accelerated recovery. In addition, due to the trace, it offers increases in attack power for quantum-type characters. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Can be played in a mono-quantum build, and will also be useful in completing content where you have to face a group of enemies. Although Tribbie is best combined with AoE damage dealers, the heroine deals damage quite actively. Is The Character Worth Pulling?

Seele follows the Path of the Hunt, which allows her to deal massive damage to single targets. Despite being somewhat narrowly focused, she has a high base speed and provides herself with an additional action after killing an enemy. Thanks to this, she becomes effective in battles against small groups of small mobs, although she is inferior in this case to Destruction and Erudition fighters.
Most often, she builds a team around herself, and can play with many damage dealers of the Path of Erudition or Destruction. They help to clear the "gaps" if it is necessary to defeat several large opponents. The girl is capable of showing excellent results even without legendary equipment, but to fully reveal her potential, it is worth paying attention to at least the second eidolon and the signature light cone "In the night".
