The Green Card is a basic electronic pass that begins the journey to top-tier loot in Rust. It opens entry-level doors in radiation cities (RC), allowing players to obtain valuable resources and advanced blue cards.
On any server, there are several spots where the pass is guaranteed to spawn on tables. Knowing these locations can give you a huge advantage at the start. However, along the way, you'll always be confronted by radiation, scientist bots, and, most importantly, ambushes from other survivors.
Where to find a green card in Rust

The Starter Pass can be obtained in three main ways: dropped by scientists, found at starting monuments, or safely purchased with resources.
Loot from scientists

The drop rate varies for different enemies, but remains high:
- Military Tunnel Scientist - 36,34%.
- Scientist on a patrol boat - 36,34%.
- Scientist on an inflatable boat - 36,34%.
- Disinfector - 23,61%.
- Road scientist - 23,61%.
Loot in RT
There are several spawn points on the server:
- Filling — Enter the building and break the barricade on the staff door. The item is on the table in the room.
- Dump — the map is located in residential container D2 on the scaffolding under the crane.
- Lighthouse - Go through the barricade and open the door on the lower floor.
- Supermarket - in a barricaded room at the back of the building.
- Underwater laboratory - in iron lockers for things.

- Ferry terminal - lies on the reception desk in a small room for employees.
- Abandoned huts - on the second floor of the yellow house.
Where to use the green key card
Obtaining a green pass opens the way to the next stage of farming: it is used to enter closed rooms of low-level monuments, take valuable resources from there and blue access card.
To open the door to any of the listed locations, you need to solve a simple puzzle: insert a fuse into the panel, activate the switch, and place the key on the reader.
- Small port — in a two-story container shed, the switch is on the first floor, and the green electronic lock is on the second.
- Big port — all the puzzle pieces are located near a large, wall-less hangar: the switch is in a small trailer in the yard, and the door with the access code is under a canopy.
- satellite dish — the fuse slot and the switch are in the rusty building near the intact antenna, and the green room is in the same container under the fallen dish.
- Sewer outlet - Turn on the power in the red hangar, then go down into the sewers and go through the tunnel to the end.
- Aerodrome - Power up the switch in the two-story house and go down into the tunnel through the hatch at the electrical substation at the end of the house.
- Power The first switch is under the stairs at the end of the garage, and two more are in the red building at the edge of the RT. After activating them, run to the gray house in the center.
- Sphere — Find two rusty cubicles in front of the round structure. One contains a switch, and the other is locked with a green padlock.
- Cosmodrome — an already powered door with an electronic lock is located in the corner of the complex behind the launch pad.
- Railway depot There are three switches: on the top floor of the gray elevator in the corner, inside the red hangar, and on the first level of the largest building. The key is used to open the entrance to the second floor.
- Ferry terminal — the fuse slot and lever are located near the rusty building to the left of the entrance to the area, and a green card can be used to open a second such closet next to the main building.
- Radiation City — the switch is located on the transformer under the stairs of a two-story house with garages, the electronic lock is on the second floor of the same building.
- Oil derrick — container D2, which is located on tier L3.
- Large oil rig — at level L3, look for a module labeled D11.
In many places, using green cards is part of complex puzzles that also require rarer keys. By combining them, you can unlock valuable loot and red cards.
