Stellar Reactions is a new system of elemental interactions in Genshin Impact, which the developers plan to develop in SnowyThey are based on the work of the Cryo element with other elements, but act differently than already known combinations.
This mechanic replaces standard elemental combos, so it requires a different approach to building companions and teams. Let's explore how the new system works in the game, what determines its damage, and which companions will receive additional abilities.
Types of Star Reactions in Genshin Impact
All stellar elemental synergies are tied to Cryo combos. Rumors suggest there will be four combos, and the system will reverse the roles of damage dealers, allowing sub-damage dealers to play on the field and vice versa. As with the Moon Wheel, this mechanic can only be activated by heroes with the special God's Eye.
At the moment, it is known for certain about Stellar superconductor - the interaction of the ice element with Electro, which activates harbinger of Sandrone.
There's a chance they'll implement a reaction with Dendro, Anemo, and a new triple combo. Something similar was added in a previous update. Imaginarium Theater and Astral Limit. Most likely, for balance reasons, the developers will not buff Freeze and Melt. The same situation happened with Lunar reactions, which did not affect Par.
Stellar superconductor

The key difference between the Star Superconductor and a standard one is the creation of a Star Glow zone. Within this zone, electric and ice attacks generate a special energy. Every 3 seconds, it is released, increasing damage of both elements in the area, enhancing the reaction itself, and reducing the physical resistance of monsters.
While the damage formulas are unknown, Sandrone's abilities hint that the combo depends on ATK and Elemental mastery.
Best Squads for Star Reactions
Stellar Superconductor only unlocks with Puppet, so teams build around it. The best synergy will be with characters that can buff ATK, MS, and reduce enemy resistances.

The introduction of Star Reactions will not only set the foundation for the metagame in patch 7.X, but will also allow for the buffing of older characters whose mechanics have been updated. For maximum damage, use weapons and artifacts that buff the new interaction with the Cryo element.
