The Chimera Robber is one of the local legends of the Snowy Mountains. Genshin ImpactThis enemy has a unique fighting style, growing and shrinking in size depending on how much the HP bar fills. He also regularly dives underground, dodging direct damage. Despite the boss's high resistance to Electro, it's important to include a character with this element in your party.

How to defeat the Chimera Rogue in Genshin Impact

The main challenge of the battle is filling the rage meter and then resizing the boss. The most effective approach is the following:
- Take your strongest team and whittle down the enemy's health until a rage bar appears below their HP. Fill the bar with Electro attacks. After this, the boss will transform from large to small form and back again.
- To unlock all achievements, you will need two battles: one with a victory in mini-form, and one in big form.
Top Teams
Before the battle begins, it is recommended to charge the elemental explosions and take a shield character or healer — Many of the boss's attacks deal high damage and can quickly knock out the active hero. To meet both challenging conditions for a complete victory, the team must have at least one Electro-elemental companion with a stable status. Their damage isn't as significant, as the enemy has 30% resistance to this element.
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Sandrone Wriothesley Cryo GG | Yae Miko | Odette Qiqi | Alyosha Escoffier Diona | Electro characters are needed here mainly to transition the boss into another phase and fully utilize the mechanics of Sandrone, Cryo GG, or Risley. Alyosha can be replaced with another Cryo sub-DD if you want to reduce the Chimera's phase transition time. |
Mavuika | Ororon Alyosha | Bennett Citlali | Xilonen | A team with Pyro Archon. For Electro, you can use either Ororon, who will also help with ultimate generation, or Alyosha, who is more reliable for survivability due to his healing ability. |
Klee Arlecchino | Fischl | Durin | Nicole Chevreuse Bennett | Team from HexenzirkelIdeally, Nicole is needed for the fourth slot, but if she's not available, you can take Chevreuse or Bennett—Magic Resonance will be covered by Fischl anyway, who will help reduce or increase the boss's size. |
