In update 1.6 "Painted Shelter" in Arknights: Endfield The protagonist will journey into a picturesque world to erase the traces left by Aether. On this journey, he will be accompanied by artist Xi, who will become a playable operative. In the second phase, she will be joined by Silverstream, a mysterious rider with ties to Endmin's past. Additional content includes temporary events and endgame activities.

The version will feature two relic operators:

- Silver Stream (6⭐) — a primary or secondary damage dealer who belongs to the Guardian class. During combat, he attacks enemies with elemental and physical damage, as well as inflicting electrification, damage, and vulnerability charges on them.

First phase (from October 15 to November 5)
The release will take place in the first half Si (6⭐ Support, Cryo) along with her two-handed weapon "Jade Vessel" in the armory supply.
Second phase (from November 5)

The storyline of this version revolves around Xi, who will escort Endmin to an area where equipment blueprints are also found. A separate event with a personal story, "Return to the Outback," will be added for the Silver Stream once its halfway point begins.

The permanent game modes "Echoes of War" will be updated (October 15), The Twilight Monument (October 22), "Emergency Contract" (November 5), "Investigation of Riddles" (November 12). The developers also revealed the temporary events awaiting players as part of the patch:
- All Shades of Ink — a guide event for exploring the "C's Painting" location, which includes completing missions related to opening boxes and teleports;
- Carly's Green Anthology - repeat photo events, where it is necessary to capture landscapes and characters according to instructions;
- The Burning Slabs of Yuanyuan — an entertaining event in which you will have to manage your own hotel: look after the farm and serve guests;
- Game Arena - play cards and fight opponents, setting a certain level of difficulty;
- "Emergency Preparation" — an event with the accumulation of sanity and the receipt of additional development materials;
- "Rebirth of the Spirit" и "Stars with me" — a standard event with daily login to the game, for which resources and temporary spins are awarded.
Other innovations
Announced gameplay improvements:
- setting up presets of equipment sets;
- new decorative items;
- personal device "Qi Tempering Scrolls" that gradually restores ON;
