The pristine obelisks of the Hadramavet desert Genshin Impact are symbols of an ancient civilization that store precious riches. However, over time, the seals needed to activate them were lost. To gain access to all the treasures, you need to complete certain quests and open a separate area in the desert Sumeru. This will also unlock the secret achievement.

How to use Primordial Obelisks in Hadramavet Desert
Primordial obelisks can be activated if collected and placed in them 6 types of Tabletsscattered around the area. To do this, you need to approach the stone monolith and interact with it to open the available options: search for seals that have not yet been collected and restore. In the first case, the game will automatically show the nearest Tablets, which must be inserted into the obelisk. It remains only to collect them and restart the monolith.
After the obelisk is restored, a reward will appear nearby - Precious Chest with 20 Source stones and other awards.
For convenience, we recommend immediately using our guide with the location of all the Tablets in Hadramavet.
If the necessary types of seals have already been collected, you can immediately select the “Restore” option and add the Tablets available in the Inventory to the obelisk. After that, as a trophy will appear Precious Chest with materials and primogems.
Before starting the search, we recommend that you complete the following tasks of the world:
- Panikhida Bilcis - a series of quests where the Traveler, together with the Desert Jeht, go to the Oasis of Eternity, find the genie and help him regain his powers.
- Her Foes Rage Like Great Waters… - a series of tasks about a clash with the assassins of the Hermits and Fatui, who seek to disrupt the stable life of the Tanit tribe.
- Apocalypse Lost, namely the subquest "Memory of Gurabad", where you will be imbued with the history of the genie Lilupar and open the gates to the city of Gurabad.
These missions will open access to locations with the location of all non-activated stone monoliths.

Move to the lower teleporter in the Abandoned Temples area and head forward through the ruins along the stairs to the indicated mark in the screenshot. The primordial obelisk is in the center on top near the temple and two huge statues.
For this monolith, you will need to collect the tablets scattered in various parts of the Safkhe Shatranj complex.

Obelisk #2 in Ghoul Pass
From the waypoint at Wadi al-Majuj or the Ghoul Passage, head towards the base of Mount Damavand, focusing on the visible ruins on the map. On the platform of the stone complex you will find an obelisk.

From the nearest teleport point in Qusayr al-Inhid, head south. In the remains of a stone building near one of the rocks, you will find an obelisk and several other ancient mechanisms.

From the teleport on the cliff of the Earth of three channels, go down on the glider down to the beginning of the fork to see the obelisk on the stone platform of the ancient structure.

From the indicated waypoint in the eastern part of the location, immediately head west to the foot of the cliff you are on. In the ruins of a stone building, find the desired monument.
All keystones that are required to restore the obelisk can be found by simply going around its location in a circle. Plates are located on rocks, stones and other natural shelters.

Obelisk No. 6 in Wadi al-Majuj
From the teleportation point at the edge of the Wadi al-Majuj gorge, go down on the glider down into the gorge itself. On its left side you will find the entrance to the ancient complex, at the door of which there is a monument.

Just a dozen meters from the underground waypoint in the northernmost location of the Hadramavet Desert is the entrance to the ancient complex, and in front of its main entrance is the obelisk you are looking for.

While completing quests in the desert, I restored several obelisks, and now I've decided to work on the rest. I've gone through the entire guide, finished the missing ones, and checked the rest—they're done. I got an achievement. Along the way, I collected absolutely every tablet the obelisks pointed to, and now I have 13 different types in my inventory. Some have three, some have seven. I don't know where to put them all now.
