Cerydra in Honkai Star Rail: Build and Team Guide

Coreflame of Law Keeper Build: Effective gear and best teams in the endgame fo the Chess Piece.

Keridra holds a chess piece in her hand

Keridra is a limited 5⭐ Wind-type Path of Harmony character in HSRDuring combat, it maintains the "Battle Merit" status on the targeted ally and accumulates charges that replace the original effect with an enhanced version. This allows the party member to perform a bonus action, allowing them to reuse the skill.

The Demigoddess of Justice is a unique representative of her class. In most team compositions, she won't replace more versatile support heroes, but she is quite capable of establishing a strong position in highly specialized groups where the primary damage dealer's skill is the primary source of damage.

Strengths and Weaknesses

The Demigoddess is a type of hero who doesn't boast widespread use, but is practically indispensable in certain squads. In particular, Caesar is an excellent support for damage dealers, dealing the majority of their damage with her ability.

Strengths Weaknesses
Harmony of the highest tier, capable of providing stable support to a hyper-carry that uses their skill. Only applies buffs to one teammate, which will be a limitation in teams with two damage dealers.
Powerful bonuses built into the skill set increase key combat stats such as critical damage and attack power. Low compatibility with characters that play from a super ability or basic attack.
The presence of a unique mechanic that allows you to reuse the E-class. There are few allies with perfect synergy, and they are also limited legendaries.
The ability to take the position of a sub-damage dealer, attacking with a super ability.

The Best Keridra Builds in HSR

Considering the peculiarities of the skill set, the assembly of Keridra in XSR is based not only on the build-up speed и energy rechargebut attack powerWhile she may be a sub-DD, there is no need for crits:

  • "Veni" increases the bonus from ATK investments, allowing the stat to be boosted to 360%;
  • "Vidi" increases the k/w by 100%.

Light Cone Rating

The following light cones are used as basic equipment:

Light cone The effect Recommendation
Epoch Etched in Golden Blood

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
HP 43-953
ATK 28-635
DEF 21-463
ATK is increased by 64-128%After the owner of the super ability uses it to hit an enemy, 1 skill point is restored. Using a primary skill on an ally increases the damage of that ally's skill by 54-108% for 3 turns. Signature has high base ATK, restores health and makes skill bonuses even more powerful by increasing the overall damage of the selected partner.
Flowing Nightglow
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
HP 43-953
ATK 28-635
DEF 21-463
Ally attacks inflict 1 stack of the Cantillation status on the wearer. Each stack increases the wearer's energy recovery by 3-5% up to max 5 lvl. Using the super ability removes Cantillation and applies the Cadence status: ATK increases by 48-96% and the damage inflicted by squad members, 24-40% for 1 turn. Allows you to equip a rope with ATK and provides a buff to your team. Make sure your heroine doesn't walk immediately after using her ultimate, otherwise the buff will disappear immediately.
A Grounded Ascent
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
HP 52-1164
ATK 21-476
DEF 24-529

After the owner uses a skill or super ability on an ally, he recovers 6 - 8 energy, and its target gains the Psalm status for 3 turns - the effect can stack up to 3 times.

Each level of Psalm increases the damage dealt by 15-24%For every 2 uses of a skill or super ability on a teammate, restores 1 skill point.

A decent replacement for Fleeting Night Lights. The passive effect requires the ability to be used.
The Forever Victual
⭐⭐⭐⭐
HP 43-952
ATK 19-476
DEF 15-330
ATK is increased by 16-32%. After the owner uses a skill, his ATK value will increase by an additional 8-16% — this effect can stack up to 3 times. An ideal F2P gear that provides a powerful ATK boost.
Planetary Rendezvous
⭐⭐⭐⭐
HP 48-1058
ATK 19-423
DEF 15-330
At the start of combat, when an ally deals damage of the same type as the owner, the damage dealt by them is increased by 12-24%. Epic alternative would work well on Keridra if the main damage dealer is attacking enemies with a wind element.
Dance! Dance! Dance!

⭐⭐⭐⭐
HP 43-952
ATK 19-423
DEF 18-396
After the owner uses the superpower, the actions of all partners move forward by 16-24%. An option suitable for most Harmony heroes, including Caesar. Massively advancing moves will simplify rotation scrolling.

What relics and ornaments are needed

The most important sets are those that provide additional bonuses for partners and help the heroine gain the necessary stats.

Cavern relics

Set and its effects Recommendation

Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal

2 parts: speed +6%.
4 parts: Using a skill or super ability on one ally increases the skill target's crit damage by 18% for 2 turns - this effect can stack up to 2 times.

The best gear for Caesar, especially when paired with Phaenon. Note that the technique also allows you to activate a passive at the start of the fight.

Eagle of Twilight Line

2 parts: 10% wind bonus.
4 parts: Using the ult moves the action forward by 25%.

Equipping this set will allow the heroine to cycle more frequently. However, she'll need to carefully manage her speed to ensure it doesn't detract from her rotation.

Additionally, combinations of cave relics with ATK and speed are possible. This option is considered only for the first time, as the full set Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal set with good stats significantly outperforms any 2x2.

Planar ornaments

The most valuable planar jewelry sets are those that increase the rate of energy recovery:

Set and its effects Recommendation

Lushaka, the Sunken Seas

2 parts: Energy regeneration +5%. If the owner is not the first character in the party, the attack power of the character in first place is increased by 12%.

A set designed to boost the team's hyper-carry. In addition to gaining energy, the heroine will also further increase her ally's ATK.

Penacony, Land of the Dreams

2 parts: Energy regeneration +5%. Increases damage dealt by allies of the same type as the owner by 10%.

An alternative aimed at directly increasing damage. It's important that the primary damage dealer master the Wind element.

Sprightly Vonwacq

2 parts: Energy regeneration +5%. If the owner's speed is greater than or equal to 120, then at the beginning of the battle, his action is advanced by 40%.

An option in case DD doesn't need attack power (Lushaka, the Sunken Seas) and it differs from Keridra in the type of damage (Penacony, Land of the Dreams).

Additionally, the following kits may be suitable:

  • Broken Keel will offer 10% bonus to allies if the heroine can achieve a 30% increase in the "effect resistance" stat.
  • Fleet of the Ageless, increasing the ATK of the entire squad by 8% if the wearer's base speed is 120 or higher.

Recommended Stats

In the "upper" indicators of cavern relics and planar ornaments, look for the following characteristics:

Head HP (fixed)
Hands Attack Power (fixed)
Body ATK
Boots Speed > Attack Power
Planar Sphere ATK
Link Rope Energy Regeneration > Attack Power

Priority of "lower" stats:

Speed > Attack Power > Status Resistance > defense/health

The main combat indicators should be close to the following values:

  • ATK — from 4,000 units for the first talent to work correctly and impose a good increase to the ally’s ATK;
  • speed — from 140 units (outside of battle) — if you do not use the technique on a regular basis before the battle, it is desirable that the indicator allows you to start the battle with the action of the Zlatius of Justice to impose the “Battle Merit” status;
  • HP: 3,500 units or more;
  • defense: 1,000 units and above.

Team Guide for Cerydra in HSR

Keridra plays a support role in the team, collaborating with other supports to provide powerful bonuses to hyper-carries. Her abilities lack AoE potential, so it's recommended to avoid deploying two damage dealers in teams. It's important to focus on a single allied target, otherwise they'll lose charges and won't be able to fully utilize their potential.

Which heroes are suitable?

The girl will offer the ideal synergy to the following damage dealers:

Character Features
Cyrene (Remembrance: Ice)
Using the memosprite's special ability on Caesar increases the critical damage of characters with the "Military Merit" status, and after "Coup de Main" ends, she offers 1 charge to the Caesar herself.
Phainon (Destruction: Physical)
At the beginning of the battle, together with the supports who have "targeted" skills, he accumulates Coreflames for subsequent transformation into Khaslana. Within the territory, he actively uses enhanced variations of skills to inflict colossal damage.
Anaxa (Erudition: Wind)
While typically considered a sub-DD for teams with Great Hertha, top-tier support can turn the scientist into a true hyper-carry, capable of dealing with any number of enemies. Keridra is one of his best supports thanks to Surprise Attack.
Rin Tohsaka (Erudition: Quantum)
If Rin is playing as the primary damage dealer, the demigoddess becomes her second-best partner, besides Twilight. The sorceress deals a significant portion of the damage with her empowered ability, so she'll benefit from the bonus action.
Seele (The Hunt: Quantum)
A classic hyper-carry, he actively uses most of his abilities in a short period of turns during a single cycle. He enjoys advancing the action, and can synergize well with Caesar due to his unique skillset.

Leveling

To increase the level of the Zlatius of Justice, you need the following resources:

Keridra Leveling Materials

How Cerydra's Skills Work

Keridra's Superpower Animation

The abilities of the demigoddess are aimed at supporting one ally, a hyper-carry who needs additional increases in crit damage and attack power, and also really wants to perform multiple actions within one combat cycle.

The main advantage of the girl is the status from her skill: during the battle, it is replaced with an improved version and allows a teammate to reuse the main skill. This mechanic is different from the regular action advance:

  • Only a skill can be reused;
  • Activation does not consume action points.

Active skills

Skills reveal Zlatius' potential in the position support. At the same time, they allow you to inflict good damage, tied to the attack power indicator (hereinafter referred to as "ATK").

By using the skill, the demigoddess imposes the status on herself. After changing the active character (i.e. switching from Cerydra to another party member), the said effect is transferred.

Subsequently, at the beginning of the battle, the girl automatically directs her skill at an ally with Military Merit 1 time. Action points are not spent.

Video of how the action is performed:

Deals wind damage to the selected enemy equal to 50-140% of ATK.

Applies status Military Merit on the selected ally and gives it to the heroine 1 unit of charge (max - 8). Upon reaching 6 charges, removes any control effects affecting a partner with "Battle Merit" and replaces the named status with the effect "Warrior's title".

Having the Peerage effect on a character also counts as having the Military Merit status, which means an increase to ATK for an ally, as described in the talent, is preserved.

Including under the influence of the effect "Warrior's title":

  • crit damage value of the skill increases by 36-90%, and the break effect of all types of resistance increases by 8-11%;
  • after using the skill it is absorbed 6 Cerydra's Chargse, after which the bonus action is activated , aka Coup de Main.

The Coup de Main bonus action allows an ally to re-apply their skill, after which the Peerage is transformed back into Military Merit. Action points are not spent. It is accompanied by an additional visual effect, a blue frame around the edges of the screen:

Receives 2 charge. Deals wind damage to all enemies equal to 144-288% from the ATK indicator. If there is no character with the status on the battlefield Military Merit, imposes the named status on the ally located in the first position of the team (far left).

Passive ability

Category passive capabilities Reveals the features of the "Battle Merit" status, which is imposed by the skill.

The ally affected by the Military Merit status gains an ATK increase equal to 18-27%of Cerydra's stat.

How Charges are displayed on the Character Panel

Associate with status Military Merit When using a basic attack and/or skill, it accumulates charges, where 1 activated skill is equal to 1 unit of charge.

Additionally, when a character with the "Battle Merit" status attacks an enemy, Keridra additionally deals 1 wind damage equal to 30-75% from ATK. This effect can trigger up to 20 times, and the number of times it can trigger is reset each time the superpower is used.

Additional effects and nuances associated with the talent maechanics:

  1. Charge cannot be gained through the bonus action, , aka Coup de Main.
  2. The status of Military Merit only works for the last target it was cast on.
  3. When changing the target, the number of charges is reset to 0, and the process of accumulation starts over.

Skill leveling order

Talent = Skill > Ultimate > Basic attack

Talent и skill — basic skills. In the first case, the ATK bonus offered to the ally is increased, in the second, the "Warrior Title" status is strengthened, which leads toоgreater increase for k/u and penetration of all types of resistance. Ultimate и basic attack are not significant, but can be improved later to open up the demigoddess to the position of a secondary damage dealer.

Traces

The Talent Tree of the Flame Core of Justice Owner:

  • Ascension Level 2 - "Veni"If attack power exceeds 2,000 units, then for every additional 100 units of the heroine's critical damage stat, the heroine's critical damage increases by 18% (up to a maximum of 360%).
  • Ascension Level 4 - "Vidi"Critical Chance is increased by 100%. If the number of charges is not equal to the maximum, the first time an ally with "Battle Merit" uses the super ability, the girl gains 1 charge (this effect can only occur once per battle).
  • Ascension Level 6 - "Vici"Using this skill increases the speed of Keridra and her partner with the "Battle Merit" status by 20 for 3 turns. When a unit with "Battle Merit" activates a non-lethal ability or skill, the heroine restores 5 energy.

The order of leveling traces is as follows:

A4 > A6 > A2

The second talent simplifies the accumulation of charges, and the third one speeds up the heroine herself and the ally on whom she maintains bonuses. In addition, the trace significantly simplifies the process of accumulating energy during the battle, which will allow the girl to use the ultimate skill more often.

These characteristics are increased by unlocking traces:

Wind dmg bonus ATK HP
22.4 % 18 % 10 %

Eidolons

Eidolons of the demigoddess of Justice

The best eidolons of Keridra are E1 и E2:

  • 1 — a universal bonus that allows you to ignore enemy defense when attacking. It's useful for any damage-dealing character, regardless of their skill mechanics.
  • 2 - Offers a "clear" damage bonus to the heroine and allies while the "Battle Merit" status is active.

F2P players are recommended to stop at E1, and then knock out the signature light cone. The final step is E2.

E1: Seize the Crowns of All

When a character with the Military Merit status deals damage, they ignore 16 % of the target's defense. If the existing Military Merit status has been enhanced to the Peerage effect, when this hero deals skill damage, they additionally ignore 20 % of the target's defence.

When Cerydra uses a skill, she restores 2 energy to the selected ally.

E2: Forge the Dreams of Many The damage dealt by a character with the "Battle Merit" status is increased by 40 %. As long as there is a character with Military Merit on the battlefield, the damage dealt by Cerydra is increased by 160 %.
E3: Torch the Laws of Old Skill level +2, maximum - 15. Basic attack level +1, maximum - 10.
E4: Remake the Realms of Men Super Ability damage multiplier increased by 240%.
E5: Help and Hurt Repaid in Full Superpower level +2, talent level +2. Maximum - 15.
E6: A Journey Set Starward

Penetration of all types of resistance with Military Merit is increased by 20 %. The additional damage multiplier described in the talent is also increased by 300 %.

While there is a hero with the Military Merit status on the battlefield, the demigoddess herself receives an increase to the penetration of all types of resistance, + 20 %.

How to play as Keridra

Owner of the Flame Core of Justice

In battle, the Caesar's task is to accumulate charges, which can be obtained in the following ways:

  • when the girl uses her skill (+1) and superpower (+2);
  • when an ally under the effect of Battle Merit activates a non-lethal (+1) or skill (+1).

This is necessary to activate the enhanced Peerage status and further access to the effect Coup de Main. Cerydra's rotation is built on the basis of alternating her main skills and full support of the team's hyper-carry:

  1. Before the battle, activate the techniques of all characters. Use the technique of the Demigoddess of Law lastAfter using it, don't forget to switch to the main damage dealer in the group to transfer the "Battle Merit" status to him. This way, when the battle begins, the girl will automatically target him with the skill.
  2. During the battle, accumulate charges. If the squad does not spend too many action points, give preference to the skill during the Chrysos Heir's turn.
  3. The superpower can be used when ready, but be careful that the skill gives 2 charges at once, while the maximum number allowed is 8.
  4. The ultimate skill primarily deals only AoE damage, its activation can be delayed so that the hyper-carry receives stacks evenly.

Is the character worth getting?

Keridra is narrowly focused support, which isn't suitable for every damage dealer. This is due to the following:

  • the distribution of bonuses is limited to one target;
  • The list of buffs includes increased ATK;
  • the main mechanic only works well with characters that often use their skill as the main source of damage.

Caesar will definitely find a use for herself if she has Savior Phaenon or Scholar Anaxa on her account. Both Zlatiuses benefit greatly from teaming up with her. In other situations, far from ideal, she won't be able to fully utilize her abilities.

Which is better: signature or E1

It is recommended to choose first eidolon, as there are a sufficient number of alternatives among the Light Cones, which can lead to a balanced stat lineup and simplify the build. The E1 is aimed at expanding the "Battle Merit" status support function (ignoring enemy target defenses), and it is also constantly supported by hyper-carries.

E1 Ceridra or E1 Anax. Which one will do more damage?

Answer  Prohibit

If you have Anaxa as your primary damage dealer, E1 is a great option. If you're playing with Hertha E2, it's still not worth it. The only exception is if you're planning on using E2 on Anaxa. And with the current new heroes, Anaxa's cons are of little use.

What should be the speed balance between Fae Sunday and Keridra Bronya? Keridra is 140-160, Fae has no speed, and what about Sunday and Bronya? And what if they're without Bronya and with Danya?
