Among the many plums of the new Dendro region in Genshin Impact, the giant, leafy ruin guardian stands out in particular. The remains of the mechanism refer to a story from Teyvat's past that occurred at least 500 years ago.
The huge mechanism is in Denantaco Mountainslocated in the south of the Dendro region. On the map you can see a massive hand and head lying at the entrance to the location. As for the ancient guardian of the ruins, two post-apocalyptic theories appeared at once:
- According to the first assumptions, it is the largest remnant of the Sumeru war with Caenri'ah. These robots were actively used by the second ancient civilization in battle. The words dainsleif, Ruin Guardians are military weapons codenamed by the people of Kaenri'ah "Cultivators". This name came from the fact that "the earth is not cultivated with tools - they fight for it with steel and blood."
- The second theory says that this mechanism remained after an earlier battle. Before the advent of the Caenri'ah, there were other powerful civilizations that created this device. In addition, the inhabitants of Kaenri'ah made all the guardians of the ruins from a certain "prototype"which was found by them.
The dimensions of this guard are amazing and exceed the character hundreds of times. Inside the prehistoric giant are unknown mechanisms, which will probably reveal the secret of how the true automaton core works (some screenshots are taken from the video from The Fafa channel).
With the release of Sumeru, players will be able to enter the robot and study this device, as well as interact with it.
