'The Mirrors, the Maze, and the Tsar' in Genshin Impact: Destroy Obstacles and Calm the Crab Down

In Genshin Impact, 'The Mirrors, the Maze, and the Tsar' quest is a part of the "Polkka Beneath the Moon's Oracle" chain and is included into Selenic Chronicles (the meeting point of Frostmoon Enclave on Hiisi Island). Following the plot, visit the Crab Tsar's palace with Maite the thief and obtain a rare treasure from the back of a strong enemy.

• Obtain 28th adventure rank.
• Unlock Hiisi Isle.

West of the Frostmoon Enclave, find a large hole in the ground and jump down into it to automatically trigger the mission.

Walkthrough of 'The Mirrors, the Maze, and the Tsar' quest in Genshin Impact

Talk to Maite, who is hiding nearby. The girl will describe the situation and state that she can find the treasure herself, but she cannot defeat the powerful creature. Agree to help her so as not to leave the child in danger.

Catch the Crab Tsar

Examine the tracks on the floor, then move forward until you see the Tsar. He will quickly block the path with stones, preventing you from following him.

By pressing"T", break the barrier with the help of lunar power and catch up with him. On the way, take the exquisite chest and a Lunoculus.

Break down the obstacles

Further pursuit of the creature will be hindered by two obstacles related to the energy of kuuvahki.

The first obstacle

Be sure to pick it up the Lakkaberries nearby, if you don't have them in your inventory.

Use the collected item on the glowing mark to feed the Geo Crab, which will clear the passage.

Additionally, don't forget to pick up the treasure located behind the obstacle.

The second obstacle

The path will lead to a large hall where you can go two ways - climb over a large round opening or break a stone with blue energy.

Look into the next room and pick up a regular chest near the wall.

Then use kuuvahki to push the overthrown column, and then put the lakkaberries down again as a bait.

Right after the destroyed column, there is a precious chest in the corner.

Find traces of the Crab Tsar

Go to the next hall with blocked passages, where the enemy has disappeared. After a while, a mysterious priestess will appear, who will advise you to "look in the mirror".

Get on the largest barrier at the bottom and wait for the Tsar to appear and break through it.

Move deeper into the cave

Go down and use the Moonlit Path to reach your destination. Press "T" or the corresponding button on your phone periodically to destroy the stones on the way.

During the flight, pick up the Lunoculus, and at the finish line, there's another exquisite chest.

Talk to Maite. After the dialogue, you can begin the battle.

Calm the Crab Tsar Down

The entire process is based on using Kuuvahki energy, not on the characters' combat skills. The basic principle is to dodge the stone columns, destroy them and then throw stones at the crab hiding behind a barrier where normal attacks cannot reach. Watch the video for the sequence of actions:

From the second stage onwards, the number of mirrors increases up to five, and attacks with stone columns become more frequent.

In the mirrors, try to track the location of the monster in order to hit it with a projectile in time.
