Walkthrough of the quest The Sacrifice in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

As part of the side quest, you will have to act as Marketa's accomplice, completing all the preparations and participating in the scam itself.

Help Marketa get the money of a rich burgher

Indro needs to help Marketa get money from a rich burgher. The girl has a plan: to blackmail him into giving her pennies, but for this she needs appropriate clothes and a sleeping potion.

Find a sleeping potion

Search sleeping potion You can buy it at almost any pharmacy, the potion maker from Przytok, located not far from the tavern where Marketa lives, is guaranteed to have it. The potion will cost 26 groszy.

Bring Marketa a new dress

You can find a new dress in the house of any rich man in Kutná Hora. If you want to get a garment honestly, visit a tailor in the capital square. Buy a girl "Ladies' Cotardie", which will cost 46-100 groszy.

Look as rich as possible

It's worth buying yourself some good clothes in advance so that look as rich as possible. Items that increase eloquence to 22 and charm to 26 are quite suitable for completing the quest. Once dressed, meet Marketa and give her the items, then ask: "How do I look?"

In the evening, talk to Markéta in Kutná Hora

Once all the previous steps have been completed, all that remains is to talk to Markéta in Kutná Hora in the evening. The girl avoids prying eyes, so she will appoint meeting place at the Garden of Eden in the east of the city. Arrive there and stand near the bench, wait for the accomplice.

Go and talk to Latsek in the tavern

To get started, first talk to Lazek at the Hanged Man's Tavern. The man is sitting inside the establishment, at a table by the window. Sit down and start a conversation.

After meeting, tailor Lazek will ask about the reason for Henry's visit. To continue the dialogue, you need to pass one of three tests:

  • "Sew me a cloak" - a complex impression test.
  • "I want to buy fabrics" - average craft check.
  • "Make me a tabard" - average combat check.

Secretly pour a sleeping potion into Lazek's mug

Soon the interlocutor will go to the bathroom, leaving Indro alone. Wait until the man leaves the room, and quietly add some sleeping potion into Latsek's mug. The people around you won't care what's going on, so you can ignore the people.

After successful sabotage, it remains to wait until Lazek drinks the potion - for this again start a conversation with him. In the future, choose any remark about the tavern, by that time the interlocutor will be too bad to suspect anything.

Very soon the man will get up and leave the tavern, follow him outside. You need to wait for the potion to take effect, which usually happens right after you leave the yard.

Drag the sleeping Lacek to Marketa in the hayloft

When the victim loses consciousness, lift the body onto your shoulders and take up the torch, so as not to attract attention. All that remains is to drag the sleeping Lacek to the Marketa hayloft, fortunately it is located a minute's walk away.

Once you enter the barn, place the sleeping man on the "bed" on the left and discuss with Marketa what to do next. Regardless of what Henry says, we'll have to wait until the morning, having slept in the next room.

Go for Marketa

In the morning, Indro should go to the hayloft and talk to Marketa. In the room, you will notice a crying girl with a black eye, during the dialogue, you will agree one way or another go to the tailor's houseOn the way to the burgher's dwelling, you can choose any lines or just remain silent.

Talk to Latsek and get money from him

On the way to Lacy Market several times will ask Idnřich to keep quiet during blackmail. Once you arrive at your destination, you will begin a dialogue. If you want to complete the quest quickly and without any complications, you can press "Keep Silent" at each choice.

In this case, all that remains is to watch the cut-scene and move on to the next point of the walkthrough.

Having decided to support the girl, you can choose the only suggested remark instead of silence. In this case, Indro himself will continue to say that will lead to conflict.

After talking to Lacek, you can speak out against Marketa, threatening her with the gallows. As a result, the girl will try to escape:

  • "Don't move!" - Stop the scammer to get a reward.
  • "Let her go" - Marketa will run away and you won't be able to meet her again. You can follow her, strangle her and take the money for yourself.

When you select the "Don't Move" option, several lines will appear that allow you to punish the girl:

  • "Give Latsek his money back!" - a light intimidation test, you won't get any money.
  • "Give me the money!" - receive the reward in full.

By threatening to hang you and demanding your money back, you will ruin your relationship with Marketa and will not be able to get in touch. romantic line.

Return to Market on the hayloft

Having remained silent in the conversation and having maintained a good relationship with the thief, return to Marketa in the hayloft to discuss the reward. The girl will try to seduce Indro:

  • "I won't forget (Kiss)" — the novel will end with the thief robbing Indro and taking 20% of the money he has.
  • "Let's split the money" - move on to discussing your part.

If you decide to receive a reward in cash, you will have to choose how much to take:

  • "Take it all" - you will be left penniless.
  • "A quarter is enough for me" - the girl will offer to give her everything, but refusal is possible.
  • "I want my half" — Marketa will also offer to refuse the reward, but you can insist on your own and take the money.

On the way from the tailor, you can rob the girl and then put the money in the chest. This way, you can watch the bed scene and save money.

Rewards

Depending on the choice you make, you will receive a different amount of coins:

  • 500 pennies — they exposed the girl at Latsek's.
  • 250 coins - with a fair division in half.
  • 125 pennies — agreed to give the largest part to Marketa.

In the case of choosing a kiss, you will be left without money, and you will also lose your own. A similar reward will be if you agree to "donate" the earned pennies for the benefit of the child.

But there is no bed scene with her, as in the case of the herbalist, there is simply a rewind of time, as in the case of the soapmakers.

The best option is to expose her. And then you can shoot such an unprincipled creature with a bow.

There's another reward option: while you're returning with Marketa from the tailor, rob her, put all the money in the chest next to the hayloft (there's a door on the left and you go upstairs) and kiss her, of course =) then take the money
