Aeon Aha in Honkai Star Rail: Nigilux Build Guide and Best Teams

Joyful Path Deity Build Tips: Character Synergies and Best Gear

Eon Aha smiles, putting a finger to his lips

Aeon ★ Aha serves as a secondary damage dealer in the Path of Joy teams in HSRThe Goddess is the "core" of such a group, as she provides each hero with unique effects in conjunction with general buffs, such as increased critical damage. All of this is complemented by a global talent that allows her to personally lead the "Mig Ahi."

In Nigilux's build, priority is given to speed, while other stats are easier to gain through skills and leveling up "Traces." However, outside of signature lineups, the character's potential is significantly reduced. She truly shines only in squads of her Path, where she fully supports her allies and deals high damage.

Information taken from beta testing and is not final. Changes may be made before release.

The Best Aeon Ahi Builds in HSR

Nigilyuksa holds glasses in her hands

Whether it's a matter of increasing personal damage or enhancing team support, the primary stat in Aeon Ahi's XSR build is speed — it affects the Joy indicator, as well as the frequency of the character's actions and skill use. Besides this, you will only need crit, but Nigilux gets a big boost to crit damage from abilities, so you'll mostly have to invest in crit chance alone.

Light Cone Rating

We recommend equipping weapons that increase speed and damage (both yours and your team's). In the latter case, both direct buffs and combat stat boosts are suitable.

Light cone Description Recommendation

With the first echo of Ahi (5⭐)

HP 43-953
ATK 26-582
DEF 24-529

Basic speed +12-20 units When using the skill on another ally, it is given 10-18 "Humor." This effect can occur once every two turns. Then, all party members begin to ignore 16-24% enemy defense - the bonus does not stack. What's notable about Signa is that increasing the character's base speed will affect how often Ahi's Flash will trigger, and the ability to ignore defense will significantly boost the entire team.

Mushy Shroomy's Adventures (4⭐)

HP 38-847
ATK 22-476
DEF 18-397

Elation + 12-20%When the owner uses the skill/P, the Joy damage received by all enemies is increased by 6-10% for 2 turns. A budget weapon that becomes even more powerful with stacks. By actively using the class skill, the heroine will constantly maintain the bonus.

Future together (4⭐)

HP 43-953
ATK 22-476
DEF 15-331

CRIT DMG + 12-24%After the owner uses the super ability, the Joy of all allies increases by 8-12% for 1 turn. Nigiluxa gets a lot of bonus damage from her skills, and with additional bonuses, she can reach high values even without substats. However, for the passive to work reliably, it's important to ensure active accumulation of "Power of Desire."
These cones can be equipped on Aeon to reach the required speed threshold if their owners are not logged in or are using a different weapon. Please note that "Summer in the Waves" only provides the bonus after the Joy skill has been activated.

What relics and ornaments are needed

When choosing equipment, focus on both supporting allies and your own damage output. Consider the passive requirements so Nigiluxa can activate them.

Cavern relics

Set and its effects Recommendation

Star Point Actor

2 parts: speed +6%.
4 parts: Using a skill or super ability on one teammate increases their Joy by 16% for 3 turns. If the owner has 10 or more True Hit, the team's critical damage is increased by 12% for 3 turns.

The optimal option is with acceleration and an additional increase in the K/U of all allies - together with the buff from the ult, the increase is 36%.

Diviner of Distant Reach

2 parts: speed +6%.
4 parts: At the start of combat, if Speed is greater than or equal to 120/160, Critical Chance is increased by 10%/18%. When the owner uses a skill/P for the first time in combat, the Joy of all allies is increased by 10%. This effect does not stack.

The set is good in terms of stat balance, as it gives the heroine a critical chance. Companions also receive a buff that lasts the entire battle.

Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal

2 parts: speed +6%.
4 parts: Using a skill or ultimate on one character increases their critical damage by 18% for 2 turns. This effect stacks up to 2 times.

Personal Damage Set. The character uses the superpower on themselves to activate the "Face of Jubilation" state, thereby increasing their damage output.

Planar ornaments

Set and its effects Recommendation

God's Moment of Joy

2 parts: Speed +6%. When the owner's Joy reaches 40% or higher, their action is advanced by 40% when entering combat.

Aeona Akha is skill-point neutral, so advancing the action is beneficial for her. However, combining it with relics will make it easier to reach the required speed.

Sprightly Vonwacq

2 parts: Energy regeneration +5%. If your speed is greater than or equal to 120, the action is advanced by 40% at the start of combat.

Although the goddess has an alternative way to restore her ultimate, the set can still be equipped on her to take advantage of the progression mechanic.

Broken keel

2 parts: Status Resistance +10%. If this stat is greater than or equal to 30%, all allies' critical damage is increased by 10%.

Considered if 30% SE is gained through lower stats. This will buff your teammates and increase your chance of avoiding enemy debuffs.

Team samples

Aeona Ahi teams are built around Joy characters, who benefit from its special buffs, but supports from other Paths can be used if their mechanics synergize well with the hyper-carry. It's also advisable to include healers or shielders in the group to quickly stack Force of Desire.

What buffs does Joy give to characters?

The heroine offers no universal bonuses, with the exception of critical damage, although even that requires building up "Humor." Therefore, outside of Nigilux's main team, she doesn't provide much benefit.

For her followers, she provides the following effects:

Aventurine: Surf (Joy: Quantum) If Akha is his only ally in the Path of Joy, the "Taming the Stormy Waves" effect from the Trace, which normally requires only Aventurine himself, is activated. The effect is further enhanced: the party's speed is increased by 15% (from E2 to 25%). After landing a hit, all allies also gain 1 point of "Ardent" and "Bliss" (E2 - 2 points).
Silver Wolf Lv. 999 (Joy: Imaginary) "Hidden Points" can accumulate beyond the limit, up to 360 units (up to 999 units on E2). K/U is increased by 40%, and receiving a "Party Trick" grants an additional 20% of the "Hidden Points."
Evanessa (Joy: Physical) Excess Energy can accumulate up to 60 units (E2 - 240 units), but it does not convert to True Hit. Damage dealt ignores 10% (E2 - 24%) of enemy defense. For every 500 units of Party Trick, the multiplier for your next Super Ability increases by 50% (E2 - 100%) of the original.
Sparxie (Elation: Fire) Critical damage increases by 30% (E2 - 120%), and allies ignore 15% (E2 - 30%) of enemy defense. For every 10 stacks of Party Trick, the Hee Hee gift from the enhanced skill grants 1 stack of Bliss, up to a maximum of 8 stacks (E2 - 10 stacks).
Yao Guang (Elation: Physical) The Great Fortune multiplier is increased by 20% of the original value. For every 10 Bliss consumed during Ahi's Flash, Yao Guang restores 1 Energy (maximum 10).
Pioneer (Joy: Electric) The Ultimate's damage bonus increases by 20% (E2 - 30%) and applies to all allies. If the Ultimate's target is Aech's Aeon, Pathfinder's skill/P is also triggered. The damage multiplier for this skill is increased by 200% (E2 - 300%) of the base value and is calculated based on the maximum Party Trick stat in the party.
Pearl (Joy: Icy) The maximum amount of Party Trick increases to 75. At the end of the extra turn gained from the Ultimate, 10% (E2 - 20%) of Real Hit and 10 (E2 - 20) of Humor, which were granted at the beginning of this action, are retained.

How Aeon Ahi's skills work

During the battle, Nigilux accumulates units "The Powers of Desire" - necessary for the use of the superpower that puts her into a state "Faces of Jubilation"The heroine gains stacks in several ways:

  • when using basic attack and skills;
  • at the beginning of the turn of an ally with the "Emanator" status;
  • when squad members receive a shield or healing.

The status of Emanator Applied to a teammate after Aeon uses a regular ability on them. This means that not only the heroine but also her team contributes to the accumulation of "Power of Desire," and sustainers become especially valuable thanks to their ability to generate additional stacks.

The Face of Jubilation state allows Aha to apply special effects to heroes of her class, as does Cyrene for the Golden Descendants. She also deals decent damage, but as a key character for the group, she also offers other bonuses:

  • Increases the damage of the Joy of the ally selected by the skill;
  • Increases critical damage after the unit first receives 40 units of "Humor";
  • Applies the "Duty" status to enemies;
  • Thanks to its global passive, it replaces the standard "Ahi's Might" with a new one, where it takes on the main role and speeds up the scrolling of class skill animations.
The technique Creates a special zone where enemies are afflicted with the "Misjudgment" effect and cannot detect allied targets. At the start of battle, Aha immediately performs an action with a fixed 20 "Humor" value.
Basic attack Single strike on the enemy.
Skill Designates one ally as "Emanator," then deals a bonus attack to all enemies. This condition ends only at the end of combat or when the skill's target changes. While active, the ally's Joy is increased, and at the start of their turn, they gain 1 unit of "Desire Power."
Ultimate Gains the "Face of Jubilation" state for 3 turns. Deals damage to all enemies, then performs five more single attacks on a random target.
Talent 1 The superpower can be activated when 8 units of "Desire Power" are accumulated. Aeon gains "Desire Power" from using a basic attack, a regular skill, and a skill/R. When the team first accumulates 40 units of "Humor," the heroine gains an additional 1 unit of "Desire Power," then increases allies' critical damage by 24% for 3 turns. The effect reactivates after Ahi's effect ends.
Talent 2 While in "Face of Jubilation," the heroine increases her allies' Path level, granting them unique effects. Additionally, "Humor" and "A Real Hit" are replaced with "Bliss" and "Party Trick." "Bliss" restores 10% of the consumed "Humor" at the end of "Ahi's Flash." While in "Face of Jubilation," the heroine ignores 30% of enemy defense.
Talent 3 When the heroine and her teammates attack, they additionally apply Debt to enemies equal to 25% of the damage dealt. This Debt persists when the enemy phases, but cannot exceed 10% of the target's maximum health.
Elation Skill Deals R-stri quantum damage to all enemies, after which true damage equal to 20% of the current Ahi's total damage is evenly distributed among the targets.
Global talent In battle, Aeon personally leads the Mig Ahi and can speed up the use of skills/R. The base speed of the Mig Ahi is increased from 80 to the goddess's base speed.

  • T3 - When Speed reaches 120/150 or higher, Joy increases by 120/150%.
