Before his death, Mikhail explains that the kobolds stole the shards of his weapon, so they must be searched for in their nests. After finding and clearing the first monster lair, you'll be able to consult a map that will reveal the locations of the other two. You'll learn where to find a craftswoman for reforging from Saint Mikhail's journal.

Where to find all the fragments of the Sword of Saint Michael in The Blood of Dawnwalker
The fragments of Mihai's sword were carried away by the kobolds to their three lairs:
- In the Maragir woodland.
- Near Shrike Cliff not far from Parlita.
- In St. Tina's Grove, not far from Anka's tavern.
The quests vary in difficulty. The easiest, near Lasleya, can be completed in the first few days, while the most challenging, near Tantari, takes place closer to level 30. However, high-level enemies can be defeated earlier if you've mastered the combat system.
Finding quest items is easier with interactive map.
Shard near Lasleya - "Do Not Disturb"
First task icon "Reforge: Do Not Disturb" will appear on the map if you inspect the surrounding area with towers of the Maragir PolesieThis isn't necessary, as the quest will automatically start when you approach the required location. The quest pickup location is located east of Thorn Marsh, northeast of the shrine. Upper Maragir WoodlandsOne of Ambrush's outposts stands nearby.
As you approach the location, Cohen will comment on the presence of strange hand-shaped symbols on the rocks. Follow the secret path, using them as your guide. Along the way, you'll find a camp under a cliff containing the quest item "Florin's Orders." It's indirectly related to this quest, but may come in handy later.
Follow the yellow markers, enter the cave, and eliminate the group of kobolds living there. After defeating them, explore the desecrated altar of St. Michael and retrieve the sword shard from it.
It's hard to see in Sense mode: to make the interaction button appear, get close to the destroyed cross. This action will advance time by three segments.
Before leaving, examine the map drawn on the wall. It marks other kobold lairs where shards are hidden. Explore all the spots, and their locations will be marked on the game map.
Shard near Shrike's Crag - "Hostile Takeover"
For the second fragment, head west of the map, to the cave northwest of Shrike's Crag and southwest of Parlita. Forge It Anew: Hostile Takeover It is recommended for a much higher level, so look for the skull icon in the journal.
Find a depression in the rock and enter the cave marked with a white cross. At the end of the tunnel, you'll encounter a powerful kobold named Yum-Yum. The creature deals massive damage and can poison, so exercise caution during combat. Beware of its unblockable poison spit.
After winning, search the large nest at the far end of the cave and take the silver fragment.
You can linger and examine the drawings on the walls—the kobolds have captured the story of St. Michael, as well as a rough map showing the locations of other fragments.
Shard near Tantari - "Special Order"
For the third fragment of the quest Forge It Anew: Executive Order It's best not to go until you reach level 25, as the enemies can be too strong even on easy difficulty. When you're ready, find the cave in the east of St. Tina's Grove, southeast of Anka's old tavern (the "Crossroads Inn" shrine).
Upon arrival, you'll find an abandoned soldier camp near the cave entrance. Examine it, then head into the nest and explore using Sense Mode.
To update the goal and move the time forward two segments, examine the inconspicuous kobold altar, from which the object of worship has disappeared, and read the soldier's letter from one of the deceased's inventory. The notes contain a clue to the location of the Uriash Blacksmith.
Having learned that Xanthe's men have taken part of the relic, head to the designated camp near the Tantari Forest. Kill all the soldiers or sneak into the main tent with the patterns. The final fragment is in a box on a barrel to the right, next to Xanthe's letter.
