Darkness is a five-star follower of Memory in HSR, who wields the element of ice and supports her allies by interacting with her spirit. Her mechanics are directly tied to the commands that rely on summoning creatures.
A key part of the Nameless's skillset is the Darkness medusa, the main source of damage. Therefore, it's crucial that the heroine consistently uses her ultimate. Considering the heroine's "expensive" ultimate, this can be a challenge without the right team and gear.
In a team, she serves as a secondary damage dealer/support, but can also be a hyper-carry. The legendary March 7 is considered a child of Remembrance born from the shadow, and the Chrysos Heir that hides the Coreflame of Time. Her purpose is to protect the desires of the mirrored soul.

How to Get the Character

A repeat "Event Leap" dedicated to the new version of the Nameless One is planned for version 4.4. The Darkness, as well as her signature light cone, will be available to drop in the first half of the update. July 15, 2026.

Strengths and Weaknesses
The legendary March 7 Memory is a hybrid character, dedicated to teams with summons: she deals high damage while simultaneously buffing allies and their spirits. However, due to her narrow focus, she faces limitations when choosing cones and alternate teammates.
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| Perfectly complements the teams whose primary mechanics are related to summoning memosprites. The heroine not only benefits from them, but also gives out pleasant buffs in the form of increased crit dmg. | Her ult requires a lot of energy to activate (240 units). It's also an important part of the set—it provides both damage and buffs needed by Darkness and his teammates. |
| Deals decent damage In the sub-damage role (primarily area-of-effect damage), T'musha takes on the primary role in this role thanks to his enhanced ability. | Doesn't reveal potential outside of teams with memosprites. In fact, the entire skill set is built on synergy with summoned creatures, which limits her interaction with other Paths. |
| With the right investment in equipment and the right support, it can act as a hyper carry. | The limited selection of suitable budget weapons makes the Nameless not the most comfortable unit for F2P players. |
| Applies immunity to crowd control effects on herself and the summoned creature - a cool feature for greater survivability and smooth rotation. | |
| Saves and restores skill points, which allows allies to use abilities more often. |
Best Evernight Builds in Honkai: Star Rail

The main emphasis when assembling the Temeni is on HP, on which all her skills depend, as well as crit (priority is given to K/U, an influencing bonus for allied creatures). Increases to the Ice element are allowed—for example, in the Planar Sphere, provided that HP is not below the threshold.
Since the ultimate is considered a crucial "button," a Link Rope for energy regeneration may be necessary if you're unable to refresh the "Dark Riddle" state in a timely manner. Haste also plays a role in filling the ultimate, but it's significantly buffed by Darkness' talent, so it's best to leave it at its base value.
Light Cone Rating
Signature weapons are the best choice in any situation. However, there are other acceptable weapon "cards" among the light cones:
| Light cone | The effect | Recommendation |
To Evernight's Stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 18-396 |
Max. HP increases by 30-60%. When the owner's summoned creature uses an attack, the owner gains 1 level of Noctis status (max. 4). While the status is active, allied creatures' attacks ignore enemy defense equal to 20-30%. At the same time, the damage of the owner and their memosprite increases by 30-60%. When the sprite leaves the battlefield, the hero restores 8-16 energy. These effects do not stack. |
Signa offers damage, health, and energy boosts, combining all the essentials. It also expands the support potential of allies with spirits. |
Make Farewells More Beautiful⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 58-1270 ATK 24-529 DEF 18-397 |
Increases HP by 30-60%. When a character or their memosprite loses health during a turn, the wearer gains the Death Flower status, which allows them to ignore 30-50% of the target's defense when dealing damage. The status lasts for 2 turns. When the memosprite disappears, the character's action advances by 12-24%. This effect can work only 1 time, а count triggered is reset, when the wearer uses their ult. | The strongest option for the hyper-carry role, but will provide the greatest potential to the signature wielder. Use it if you don't have the Servant of Death or she does not participate in the battle. |
Sweat Now, Cry Less⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 9-198 |
Crit chance increases by 12-20%. If the owner's sprite is on the battlefield, the damage dealt by the owner and the creature is increased by 24-36%. | An excellent option with a bonus to damage and damage. The second bonus will be active constantly, since the summoned creature is always on the field. |
The Flower Remembers⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 15-330 |
Crit damage is increased by 24-40%. The damage dealt by the wielder's sprite is additionally increased by 24-48%. | An alternative that increases crit dmg of the wearer and his sprite. Can be used if there are problems with the balance of characteristics or a strong lack of crit dmg is felt. |
The Story's Next Page⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 15-330 |
Max HP increases by 16-32%After the owner's creation attacks, the outgoing healing of both is increased by 12-24% for 1 turn. | It opens up quite well thanks to a significant increase in HP, which will have a positive effect on all damage dealt by the character and Darkness. |
Memory's Curtain Never Falls (S5) | F2P⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 18-396 |
Increases SPD by 6-12%After the owner uses the skill, the damage dealt by all allies is increased by 8-16% for 3 turns. | A free light cone from Gerta's shop, which will be a good option for a heroine in the sub-DD position. |
Additional options:
- Time Waits for No One (Light) - Cone of Abundance with a high base. Any other 5-star weapon with 1270 HP will do.
- Victory In a Blink (Epic) - Due to the non-functional second part of the passive, it's used exclusively for the additional bonus to crit dmg. It's subsequently replaced with one of the cones discussed earlier.
What relics and ornaments are needed
Artifacts should enhance not only the Nameless One, but also her medusa. For this reason, she uses sets designed for representatives of Memory. Alternative options or combinations of different sets can be used temporarily.
Cavern relics
| Set and its effects | Recommendation |
|
World-Remaking Deliverer 2 parts: crit chance +8%. |
Offers perfect synergy to a secondary damage dealer because:
|
|
2 parts: max HP +12%. In combination with the following. sets:
|
2x2 combination options that simplify stat balancing. If there are no problems with gaining health, you can equip sets for crit rate or dmg. |
|
2 parts: max HP +12%. |
A specialized set for HP-related characters. Combines well with the mechanics of the Nameless and will show itself perfectly if she is in a group with Castorice (her skill "burns" part of the health of allies). |
For the first time, a complete set will do. Hunter of Glacial Forest, if there are good parts. The set, in addition to the elemental bonus, provides a boost to damage after using a super ability, which will increase the girl's personal damage. The main drawback is that the boost won't work on jellyfish.
Planar ornaments
| Set and its effects | Recommendation |
|
Bone Collection's Serene Demesne 2 parts: Max HP +12%. When the wearer's Max HP is greater than or equal to 5, their and their creature's Crit Damage increase by 000%. |
An optimal set that affects health (permanent) and damage (when the set's condition is met). It fully meets the hero's needs, regardless of the situation. |
|
2 parts: When the number of party members on the field is not equal to 4, each extra or missing ally increases the damage dealt by the owner and their sprite by 9% and 12% respectively - the effect stacks up to 4/3 times. |
A set for teams with memosprites. Considering the summoned creature counts as a separate combat unit, the set's effect is easy to implement. However, in a group with Castorice, problems may arise if the dragon is absent. |
|
The Wondrous BananAmusement Park 2 parts: Increases critical damage by 16%. If there are creatures summoned by the wearer on the battlefield, their critical damage is increased by another 32%. |
Darkness is practically constantly on the field, which synergizes well with the passive requirement. It can be used when Nameless is in the hyper-carry slot. |
Fleet of the Ageless is Another HP planar set, but with a team bonus for attack power. The girl currently usually plays with health-dependent characters, which makes the set situational.
Recommended Stats
In the "upper" stats of cavern relics and planar ornaments, priority is given to:
| Head | HP (fixed) |
| Hands | Attack Power (fixed) |
| Body | CRIT DMG |
| Boots | HP > speed |
| Planar Sphere | HP = Ice Element Bonus |
| Link Rope | HP > Energy Regeneration |
The significance of the “lower” characteristics is determined according to the following principle:
Crits > HP > Speed
The main parameters of a fully leveled character, taking into account equipment (before battle):
- HP — from 7,000-8,000 units;
- CRIT Rate - 65%;
- crit bonus — 160% and more;
- speed — 99 and more.
Team Guide for Evernight in HSR
In a team, Darkness plays a secondary damage dealer/support role for units that summon creatures. However, with the right investment and support, she can also perform as a hyper-carry.
Which characters are suitable?
For allies, the following are recommended first of all:
Hyacine (Remembrance: Wind) |
A top support and healer for any team with memosprites. Moreover, she has a special synergy with Evernight due to the increase in health. If the priestess wears her signature cone, this will be an additional plus. |
| A powerful damage dealer with a summon that will be even more powerful with the buffs of the five-star March 7, especially if she has E1. Furthermore, the demigoddess consumes allies' HP, which will grant even more Memoria stacks. | |
Cyrene (Remembrance: Ice) |
Applying the support skill "Bloom, Elysium of Beyond" to Evernight increases the damage of Evernight's skill "Day Gently Slips". Also, after activating the skill/ult, Mrs. March 7 herself gains an additional stack of Remembrance, and the effect of the damage increase is significantly increased. |
Robin: Yasnopea (Memory: Windy) |
The SP version of the Galovian is unique due to its "Trace" ability, which increases critical damage if an ally's attack power is lower than hers. Combined with bonuses like turn advancement, increased overall damage, and ignoring enemy defense, she becomes a versatile support, and will receive a buff to her summoned birds from Darkness. |
Trailblazer (Remembrance: Ice) |
Just a good free support. Helps activate Trace 3, which requires characters of the Path of Remembrance, gives out buffs, restores energy and accumulates stacks for the heroine summoning Mem. |
Tribbie (Harmony: Quantum) |
Fits into many builds as a universal buffer. The Nameless herself only gives damage bonuses, that is, they have no specific synergy. However, she will be the best choice in a team with Castorice and Hyacine. |
Sunday (Harmony: Imaginary) |
Suitable for a hyper-carry team, offers a lot of useful bonuses, including energy regeneration and action advancement. A significant advantage is that his buffs are also distributed to the minions allies create. |
Another potential partner is - Aglaea (Remembrance: Lightning)Although the girls interact with each other, the demigoddess already has supports that help her effectively perform as a main damage dealer. In terms of optimal synergy, the combination Temeni with KastoriaHowever, if desired, an alliance with Aglaya could be considered, especially if she lacks worthy alternatives in terms of support.

Resources that enhance the heroine to the maximum are mined in the territory of Amphoraeus.
How do Evernight's skills work?

The main task of "Mrs. March 7" is boosting allied memosprites Through skill and superpower. She primarily serves as a secondary damage dealer, using a summoned creature named T'musha for this purpose.
Most of the assistant's damage comes from the second version of the skill, which triggers when the special effect "Memoria" reaches level 16. Stacks are accumulated in the following ways:
- character skill or regular Evey skill;
- decrease in health indicator;
- using the abilities of any memosprites in the squad.
The heroine can also enter a special state called "Dark Riddle." It offers increased damage and immunity to crowd control debuffs. It activates when using her ultimate, which also grants two stacks of the same-named charge. These stacks are consumed when the medusa activates her enhanced skill.
Active skills
The Nameless One constantly summons or advances a minion with her active skills. This damages and buffs all creatures in the party. All actions are interconnected, so there's no need to follow a specific button sequence, but you'll still need to keep an eye on the charges.
Let It Rain Cold Technique
Receives the Memory Spirit Critical Damage Increase effect described in the skill. "This is how the day fades", and accumulates 1 unit of "Memory" charge.
Basic attack "Time as Fog"
- Source of damage: HP.
- Energy generation: 20.
Single strike against a selected enemy.
Skill "So the Day Fades"
- Skill type: call.
- Energy generation: 30.
Spends its health and summons Darkness, which increases the critical damage of all Memory Spirits in the party, affected by Darkness. The effect lasts for 2 turns. If the creature is already on the field, some of its HP is restored.
Using this skill grants 2 charges of "Memory." While in "Dark Riddle," it grants an additional 12.
Superpower "Sleep tight, oh sleepless world"
- Source of damage: HP.
- Energy consumption: 240.
Summons Darkness, who attacks all enemies, gains 2 charges of Darkness Riddle, and enters the Darkness Riddle state. While active:
- Enemies take increased damage from all squad members.
- The heroine and her spirit of memory's damage increases, and they also begin to ignore all control effects.
Darkness consumes 1 Dark Riddle when using the ability "Dream. Dissolving. Like dew."If the number of charges reaches 0, the heroine exits her special state.
Passive ability
Buff "Tonight with me": Summons Darkness at the start of combat. Each time the heroine and her minions' HP are reduced, their Critical Damage is increased for 2 turns and 2 Memoria charges are accumulated.
When the number of charges reaches 16 or more, the Spirit of Memory performs an immediate action. This effect can be triggered again after the skill is used. "Dream. Dissolving. Like dew.".
Skills and Talents of the Spirit of Memory
The summoned creature, using the enhancements from the Nameless One, primarily deals with the destruction of enemies.
- Single "Memories. Swirling. Like rain." — Hits an enemy that was previously attacked by the owner and gives 1 unit of “Memory” charge.
- group "Dream. Dissolving. Like dew." — An AoE attack that consumes Memoria and HP. After use, the spirit disappears.
- Support "Loneliness. Floating. In the Darkness" - increases the chance of being attacked and gives an increase in damage to yourself/Temple.
- Buff "Night. Doesn't want. Separation." - after being summoned, performs an immediate action.
- Buff "With you. Farewell. Forever." - Increases the owner's speed after disappearing.
Leveling Order
If you want to focus on dealing damage:
Memosprite Skill > Ultimate > Talent > Memosprite Talent > Skill > Basic Attack
To perform support functions more effectively:
Ultimate > Skill > Memosprite Skill > Talent > Memosprite Talent > Basic Attack
In the first case, skills that consistently deal damage and directly buff the heroine and Medusa are prioritized. In the second case, skills that provide buffs for the team are upgraded first, followed by offensive abilities, since the main damage dealer is responsible for destroying enemies.
Traces
The Time Core Keeper's talent tree provides boosts to her core combat stats—critical chance and critical damage—which simplifies balancing when choosing gear. It also focuses on energy generation and further strengthening allied Memory Spirits.
Eidolons
The main constituencies of Temeni:
| E1 "Sleep, the night guards your dreams" | If the number of enemies on the battlefield is 4 or higher/3/2/1, the damage dealt by allied Memory Spirits becomes equal to 120/125/130/150% of their original amount. |
| E2 "Listen to how sleep whispers" | Critical damage of the heroine and her assistant +40%.
|
| E3 "Don't be afraid, nightmares are in the past." |
|
| E4 "Wake up, tomorrow is yours" | The effectiveness of penetrating the vulnerability of the squad's memory spirits is increased by 25%, and that of Darkness by an additional 25%. |
| E5 "Forget it, that one я only in memory" |
|
| E6 "Like this, forever" | All allies' resistance penetration is increased by 20%. Whenever an assistant casts "Sleep. Dissolves. Like Dew," the heroine gains 30% of the "Memoria" charge consumed by the current attack. |
The best are considered E1 и E2:
- "Sleep, the night guards your dreams" Boosts the damage of all memory spirits depending on the number of enemies in the arena: the fewer there are, the stronger the buff.
- "Listen to how sleep whispers" Allows you to gain more levels of "Memoria," which will impact Darkness's damage when using the enhanced skill. Additionally, activating the ultimate will grant a total of 4 charges of "Dark Riddle," increasing the damage.
Is The Character Worth Pulling?

Darkness will be a great addition and enhancement to Memory squads. This is primarily due to the buffs granted to allied spirits by their abilities. Her traces also hint at a close synergy with characters of this Path: she gains more energy and stacks, necessary for dealing increased damage, and deals bonus critical damage depending on the number of her class members.
Despite the damage buff, picking her for other units isn't practical. Firstly, she doesn't utilize her mechanics to their full potential, and secondly, there are more versatile supports that can be used in virtually any build. All this makes her, albeit a highly specialized, yet excellent hero in the "conscript" niche.оin". The value of the Nameless increases especially with the presence of Kastoria.
Which is better: signature or E1
It is recommended to get the signature coneTo Evernight's Stars. The weapon's passive has many useful bonuses: an increase in HP, acceleration of the ult's accumulation, an increase in damage (including for other sprites via a decrease in defense), which is an undoubted plus.
Eidolon is also good, but its usefulness is primarily focused on buffing creatures, meaning the heroine loses an additional source of energy and health. Moreover, there aren't many truly suitable options among the Light Cones.
However, if HP is sufficient and there are no problems with the ult, you can pull for E1. The main thing to keep in mind is that the const works better against a smaller number of enemies - it is stronger than just protection cut from the weapon, but less universal.

What if we put her next to Aglaya?
Or is it possible like this: Kastoria, Darkness, Gg Memory and Baylu?
Yes, but it would be better to put Locha/Gallagher instead of Baila, or even better, Giacina
Good afternoon. Would a squad from Sunday, GG Memory, and Gallagher/Liberator of the Wasteland suit her?
there are few Persians
No. Sunday's buffs are very inconsistent with Darkness and her Memory Spirit. Gallagher will have to constantly use his ability to heal her, as Darkness doesn't deal damage directly, but plays exclusively through the Memory Spirit. Dan Han, while not a healer, is suitable as a sustainer if you finish the fight before Darkness runs out of HP. Memory GG is a good match for her.
I spun it by accident... I was hoping to lose for some reason. Now I realize I shouldn't have picked it. I have Sunday. But I sometimes play Acheron, so it's free.
CRY FROM THE SOUL!!!
I accidentally got two Darkness Cones. Can anyone tell me if their effects stack (for example, if you give the cones to two characters in the same squad) or if it would be more effective to stack them?
You can give the cone to Kastoria if she is without a sign
Cast it, please. The end of the cone description clearly states, "These effects do not stack." So if two characters in a party have this cone, the effects will not stack. (I wish I had that kind of luck😭)
