Briefly about the previous events in the series

After the Pirate King Gol D. Roger made a fateful announcement about his hidden treasure "One Piece" before his death, many pirates from all over the world set out to find it. Among them is the protagonist of the story, Monkey D. Luffy, a young boy and user of the "Rubber-Rubber" Devil Fruit, who sets out alone across the seas on a boat.

On his way, he meets a young boy named Koby, who dreams of becoming a Marine, and finds the first members of the crew: the skilled thief Nami, the swordsman Roronoa Zoro, the sniper Usopp, and the cook Sanji. The protagonist names them the "Straw Hat Pirates", acquires a ship and a map of the Grand Line, and also encounters real opponents in a serious fight for the first time and gradually reveals his own potential.

The final episodes take a shocking turn that tests the Straw Hats' fortress. Nami is revealed to be a spy working for Arlong's fishmen, who wanted to get their hands on the Grand Line map. It is later revealed that she did this out of spite and wanted to help her village, but ended up being deceived. Luffy and his friends team up to help Nami defeat Arlong, restore her village's freedom, and restore the Grand Line map.
This mission ends successfully, Monkey receives the first bounty on his head and strengthens his own resolve, and the Straw Hat Pirates finally begin their difficult journey in full.
