Genshin Impact Wonderland Manekin: Build and Leveling Guide

Miliastra Wonderland companion guide: what gear and teams to use while traveling around Teyvat.

Twin mannequins sit next to each other

Wonderland Manekin is a personalized hero from Miliastra Wonderland, available for use in the open world of Genshin Impact. The character has short male and female models that can be freely switched between. The ally was created by Octavia the Witch and was given to the Traveler as a token of goodwill. However, building him isn't as easy as building regular party heroes, as he has a number of unique characteristics that must be taken into account.

In this guide, we'll explain what talents the character has, what equipment to offer them, and how to get them for your account.

Content

How to Get the Character

The in-game notification that is triggered when opening the Astral Realm for the first time.

The companion is automatically added to the list of team members after you first visit the Miliastra Wonderland. To receive him, you must meet the following mandatory conditions:

  • Reach the point of opening the system of wishes в in the Archon Quest Prologue. Chapter 1: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind.

After that Miliastra Wonderland will be accessible via the Paimon menu or by clicking the icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Teleportation sphere from the Witch of the Sabbath in the inventory

For a full immersion and understanding of the story, it is recommended to complete the main story up to the Interlude Chapter, "Paralogism". Upon completion, you will receive a gift from the witch of Hexenzirkel, Wonderland Cosmosphere (formerly the Dazzling, Mysterious Gift), which will be added to your inventory, the "Quests" tab.

Once the mode is launched, a short cutscene will be shown explaining the backstory of the Manekin Twins, followed by the customization menu.

There's no need to worry about choosing your starting gender, as both units will be added to your character roster.

How to change the element

To change element for the ally from another world, travel to the Archon statue in the region representing the desired element and resonate with it as the Traveler. The twin Manekins will change their damage type, but their skills will remain the same.

Where can the hero be used?

Octavia's Gift is available in the Miliastra Wonderland and the Seven Kingdoms, but with certain restrictions:

  1. In the new mode The Manekin is the main character that participates in all the events.
  2. In Teyvat, the ally can travel with the team as a combat unit, but is not able to take part in Stygian Onslaught, Spiral Abyss и Imaginarium Theater.

Also you cannot use two Manekins of different genders in one team. As for the cooperative mode in Teyvat, the team can consist of customized heroes entirely.

The Best Manekin Builds in Genshin Impact

The Manekin deals damage with both E and Elemental Burst, while gaining elemental infusion from his attacks after activating his elemental skill. All his scaling is based on attack, so it's worth building ATK, critical hits, and a small amount of energy recovery (approximately 120-130%).

After using any ability, the hero briefly changes his appearance.

Because his use is limited to the open world, the Manekin's build is less demanding than that of standard combat companions used in challenging content. He can be heavily buffed and used as a damage dealer against mobs and world bosses, or equipped with support weapons and artifacts to benefit the team during their journeys across Teyvat.

Optimal weapons

It's best to choose the appropriate equipment based on the role assigned to the Manekin on a specific account. Due to usage restrictions, there's no point in permanently equipping him with the best weapon. If aesthetics are the primary consideration, then follow your own preferences and wishes for a specific appearance.

The equipment listed below provides enough energy regeneration to ensure this hero can consistently perform as a sub-DD. If you want to play him as a main DD, you can equip him with almost any weapon with crit stats.

Choosing Artifacts

When choosing artifacts for the Manekin, it's important to consider his current element and his specific role in a group. In different builds and situations, this ally can serve as both a multi-target buffer and a primary damage dealer.

Name Features

Viridescent Venerer

Desert Pavilion Chronicle

For Anemo the set that cuts elemental resistance or the set for the core of the team would be suitable.
Archaic Petra For Geo character you can use a buffer/support set.
Instructor
Thundering Fury
When playing as Electro, the support will benefit from the Instructor set to boost elemental mastery of the team, while the hyper-carry can use the damage-dealing set.
Noblesse Oblige
Crimson Witch of Flames
Pyro Manekin benefits from using Noblesse Oblige to boost allies with ATK, especially when playing in Fire Resonance. If you're playing the damage dealer, the Witch is a good choice.
Nymph's Dream
Heart of Depth
Hydro Manekin will benefit from sets that increase damage of this element and ATK bonuses.
Deepwood Memories
Gilded Dreams
The Manekin with the Dendro element is suitable both for the role of a support, cutting off resistances with the help of the set, and for the role of a main DD, receiving buffs from the Dreams set.

It is important to mention the universal Gladiator’s Finale set and the Hydro Archon Furina'sMarechaussee Hunter set that can be used if available on the account. Both are a good solution for the core of a team, regardless of the element he belongs to.

Recommended Team Compositions

The principle of building a team for the Manekin is also based on his chosen role. Octavia's Gift can act as a core, a buffer, and a reaction driver due to the unique mechanics of his mechanics. Classic strong team concepts using Vaporize and Melt, groups using Dendro Reactions, and integrating a character into a versatile slot in another damage dealer's pack are all acceptable.

Leveling

Let's look at how to level up the Manekin and increase the percentages on his scaling.

Ascension

Mannequin(m) in the level up menu

You don't need to spend experience books or other resources to level up your companion. Their level depends on< the strong>current level of the Miliastra Wonderland, and to level up the Manekin to 90, you need to complete content in his own mode. To find out your current level:

  1. Move to the main hall using the Paimon menu. It doesn't matter which lobby you go to (your own or someone else's).
  2. Once you are there, select the book-shaped icon from the quick access menu (you can do this by pressing "F1"), and then click the button with a star icon.

To level up the Manekin to 90, you need to reach level 10 of his world. To do this, you need to complete mini-games on any topic, gain experience for completing levels, unlocking achievements, and completing tasks.

After reaching level 10 of the world, enter the character menu in Teyvat and level up your customized hero as a regular character. Both twins can be leveled up side-by-side, but they will need to be done separately, as they are considered separate heroes. Both heroes give a total of six standard wishes.

Talents

The elements and skills for the hero do not need to be leveled separately. After reaching level 10 in the new mode and ascending the Manekins, their abilities will automatically be maxed out. This does not require any materials or books.

Extra Stats For Leveling

The Manekin's key stat is attack power percentage. Leveling also increases the ally's base ATK, defense, and HP. Since the Manekin serves primarily as a decorative element and isn't involved in high-level activities, investing in leveling to 90 isn't worth it, and 80 is sufficient for easily completing open-world content.

Level Base HP Basic attack Base DEF Base CRIT Rate % ATK %
1 912 18 57 5,0 % 0%
20 2342 46 147 5,0 % 0%
40 4529 89 284 5,0 % 6%
50 5766 113 362 5,0 % 6%
60 7164 140 450 5,0 % 12 %
70 8401 164 527 5,0 % 12 %
80 9638 188 605 5,0 % 18 %
90 10875 212 683 5,0 % 24 %

Skills

In battle, the hero can fulfill different roles depending on the chosen build, as the Manekin's abilities allow him to serve as both an active and secondary damage dealer. All talents, regardless of element, have identical scaling, and passives also remain unchanged. However, in the Miliastra Wonderland, skills aren't limited to one-handed swords and elements, and can be customized to suit the player's needs.

Constellations, by analogy with archer Eloy, are absent.

Basic (Active) Skills

The companion's basic attack hits with the current element and grants an uninterruptable infusion for several seconds. The ultimate hits in an area and leaves a zone where enemies are attacked periodically. If the Manekin leaves the battlefield, the zone also disappears, dealing the final blow.

Outlander Arts: Vigilant Watch

  • Damage Source: ATK

Normal attack: Up to four quick sword strikes.

Charged attack:: Consumes a certain amount of stamina to quickly swing the sword in front of you twice.

Plunging attack: Swiftly falls to the ground, attacking enemies along the way. Upon landing, deals area-of-effect damage.

Punishing Barrage

  • Damage source: ATK.
  • Cooldown: 10 sec (two charges)

The Manekin attacks nearby enemies once, dealing area damage with his element, then quickly retreats. For a short time after activating the elemental skill, normal, charged, and plunging attacks deal damage of the Manekin's element, which cannot be negated by other infusions. This effect disappears when the hero leaves the battlefield.

After the E is triggered, the character changes their appearance to a random outfit available in the account's arsenal, and then returns to their original appearance.

No entry

  • Duration: 8 sec.
  • Cooldown: 15 sec.
  • Energy consumption: 60

The Manekin summons a Restricted Area that follows him, dealing elemental damage of his type to nearby enemies once.
Additionally, when enemies enter the Restricted Area, they take one-time damage from his element. This effect can occur once every 0,5 seconds. When the Manekin leaves the battlefield, the Restricted Area disappears.

Passive Skills

Skills unlocked at various ranks increase the hero's value as a sub-DD and make it easier to gain energy for his ultimate in combat.

When the Manekin leaves the battlefield, if the Restricted Area he created is still active, it explodes, dealing area damage of his element equal to 200% of the hero's attack power.

When the Manekin is off the battlefield and his energy is below 30%, restores 2 energy once every second.

When the Manekin uses an elemental skill or elemental burst, his image will change to a random existing configuration.

Talent Leveling Order

There's no need to allocate resources to Manekin's skills in Genshin Impact, as they develop evenly as the hero levels up. It's not possible to give him the crown.

Creating the Wonderland Manekin

When you first enter the game mode, you'll be able to customize your companion's appearance and choose their clothing to suit your taste. Three starting outfits are available to simplify the editing process. In the next section, you'll be able to further customize your character's appearance, including changing their hairstyle, hair color, skin tone, and facial features.

At this stage, the three appearances can be combined, and after the preset is complete, they will be automatically added to the wardrobe. The remaining clothing items will need to be custom-made. Appearance editing will also be available at any time from now on.

Changing name and gender

After entering the Miliastra Wonderland, two Overwrite Keys (left and right) will be added to your inventory, with the help of which it will be possible to change the name of the male and female versions of the Manekin once:

  1. It is impossible to give the twins same nicknames.
  2. The Manekin cannot be named as a Traveler (Lumine, Aether) or use the names of any other playable characters.
  3. For Cyrillic, this rule can be circumvented by including English letters in the word.

You can change your hero's gender in the Miliastra Wonderland by accessing the customization menu. To do this:

  1. Click the hanger icon on the quick access bar in the Lobby or in the Paimon menu.
  2. Click on the top button "Change Manekin" with the silhouettes of twins.
  3. Exit the editing window.

If we're talking about the open world, then it's enough to simply swap the Manekin for their twin through the team menu.

How to change clothes

There's a separate customization menu for changing outfits in the Miliastra Wonderland. To access it, you must either teleport to the Main Hall or use the Paimon menu by clicking on the hanger icon.

There you can create a unique look for your Manekin using the available clothing sets and their colors. You can combine individual parts and place the parts on the model any way you like. All collected appearances can be saved as presets, which the Manekin transforms into after using his skills in Teyvat.

You can't go to the theater, you can't go anywhere. What the hell do they need them for then? Only for beginners, to get fully leveled up characters without wasting resources on leveling up.

Hmm. It's weird, but I didn't have to level up my talents. After I reached level 90, they were maxed out. Perhaps some adjustments were made?

So he's like the main character, but is he good?

He only has one element from the main character. His build is based on damage dealers, as he's a mediocre support player. His level depends on the new sandbox level, meaning he can max out at 40 right now. He'll probably be able to overclock the Hilichurls in Monda on his second try.

I reached level 10 in the Astral Realm in two days, back when it first came out, so no, not 40. If you try, you can level it up in a few hours.

There's a weekly limit, you can reach up to 7th in a week, this was tested on several accounts.
So the minimum is 2 days, if you start on a conditional Sunday, and finish the rest on Monday
Where there's a will, as they say

At level 20, she/he is capable of dealing over 100k damage))) so she/he is about a billion times better than the main character))
