Aria Guide Zenless Zone Zero With an analysis of the mechanics of charged attacks while falling, which consume special types of "Support" charges. The vocalist gains "Fluids," which she can spend on plunge attacks with the "Flowering" effect, dealing increased damage to targets hit. Using her ultimate, the heroine immediately switches to a stronger version of the non-attack attack, consuming alternate "Crowd Support" charges and gaining the "Moment of Obsession" state.
When building a build for this girl, it's important to pay close attention to stat balance and crowd control. Since she's an Abnormal Agent, her skillset includes status effects that depend on her "knowledge"—Contagion and Bloom. However, her gameplay is more like an Assault class, with powerful skill hits and increased DPS when an enemy is stunned—here, ATK, critical hits, and the presence of Intimidation are more important.
The AOD member is a team- and weapon-dependent hero who prefers limited options. To achieve this, she'll need to leverage other party members and invest in her signature to maintain an advantage in combat. Despite her obvious drawbacks, she remains a strong unit, capable of easily clearing endgame modes with a well-thought-out build.

Strengths and Weaknesses
The heroine is not without significant damage output, but she won't be able to demonstrate it in all groups—the atypical Anomaly class damage dealer shines best with stunners and supports, which are more typical for the Assault class.
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| High and consistent DPS. Deals decent damage with one-shot attacks, through infection, and the white "Abloom!!" effect. | It's difficult to find allies that would allow you to fully explore the gameplay's full potential. The priority is the "Angels of Delusion" faction composition with Sannoy and Nangong Yu. |
| Simple and engaging gameplay. It relies on stacks and charged attacks. With a little practice, you can adapt her rotation to any situation. | Requires investment in signatures. With epics and other "balls," it can suffer from a serious stat deficit. |
| An active agent on the field. She can remain in combat for long periods and doesn't require frequent switching, allowing her to build up decibels faster and enter a boosted state through her ultimate. | |
| Converts "control" points into "knowledge", which allows you to maintain the effectiveness of Ether cast on targets and not lose damage. |
The Best Builds for Aria in ZZZ

The heroine deals damage with the ethereal status "Contagion," direct hits from skills, and a charged basic attack. Therefore, her build can be built around various stats and buffs:
- Control и attribute application efficiency — accelerates the process of inflicting Infection on targets. If control is above 180, each point above this value grants +1,5 to knowledge.
- Knowledge — Increases the total damage of the attribute status, as well as the white reactions Chaos and Bloom.
- ATK in combination with crits it will give big numbers from charged b/a, c/a, skill and ultimate.
- Punching - allows you to ignore % or units of enemy defense.
- Ethereal Damage Bonus.
Stats are balanced based on the team's composition: if the hero is on a team with an Anomaly damage dealer and corresponding supports, then stat knowledge should be prioritized. Along with stunners, the rotation is built around the hero's ultimate, which is DPS with scaling based on attack power and critical hits.
Rating of amplifiers
Aria's best weapon is her signature weapon, "Soul in Armor," and it's the only choice. Currently, it's the only weapon that covers all aspects of the vocalist's gameplay and allows her to raise her 2-control above the cap. Other options force a choice in favor of class mechanics or complicate stat balancing.
| Amplifier | The effect | Features |
![]() Soul in armor |
Attack power is increased by 18-28,8%When an agent enters the field and uses a special or enhanced special attack, a buff is applied: the damage from the attribute anomaly is increased by 15-24%, damage from the Ethereal Anomaly is increased by an additional amount 15-24%The effect lasts for 12 seconds, with repeated activations refreshing the duration. Once the user leaves the battlefield, the buff ends. | Contains percentage bonuses to control and attack power, opening the door to optimizing other stats via drive discs. DPS from "Infection" and "white" status effects is directly increased. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ATK 48-713 Knowledge of the Anomaly 36-90 |
Increases the efficiency of anomaly accumulation by 40-64%When an agent with this item deals etheric damage, their anomaly knowledge is increased by 20 - 32 for 5 seconds. This effect stacks up to 6 times and can only occur once every 0,5 seconds. Repeated activations refresh the duration. | A good option for a classic anomalous build. The first part of the passive mitigates the difference in application speed compared to the signal, and the bonus knowledge increases damage significantly. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ATK: 48 - 713 ATK: 12-30% |
Anomaly control is increased by 60 - 96 units. When Onslaught is activated, the owner's physical damage is increased by 20-32% for 20 seconds. Stacks up to two times, with subsequent casts refreshing the duration. At the start of the battle, the effect is granted at two levels. | A variant that provides greater boosts to priority stats. Increases control by a fixed amount while also increasing ATK. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ATK 40-524 Knowledge of the Anomaly 30-75 |
If there are enemies with an attribute anomaly on the battlefield, the attack power of the agent with this item is increased by 10-16%, and the damage the agent inflicts on such enemies is 15-25%. | An alternative to the signature that requires maintaining attribute statuses on enemies—the team must apply them at least once every 10 seconds. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ATK 42-624 ATK: 10-25% |
When an empowered special attack hits an enemy, one of three random effects is triggered for 5 seconds. This effect occurs once every 0,3 seconds. Duplicate effects do not stack; repeated triggers refresh the duration. Multiple effects can exist simultaneously:
|
An epic analogue with a variable passive. The problem with the ball is its dependence on energy expenditure, and the vocalist is unable to do this often enough. |
![]() Magnetic Storm: Alpha |
While accumulating an attribute anomaly, the agent with this item's anomaly control is increased by 25-40 units for 10 seconds. Activates once every 20 seconds. | The most accessible weapon "for the first time." Due to its rarity, it has a small number of buffs and an unstable passive. |
What drives to install
Several sets suit a girl well:
| Set and its effects | Recommendation |
![]() Radiant Aria 2 Piece: Ethereal damage +10%. 4 Piece: When an agent with this item hits an enemy with a basic attack, their Anomaly Knowledge is increased by 36 for 8 seconds. Repeated casts refresh the duration. When an enemy on the battlefield is stunned, the agent with this item deals 25% increased damage for 18 seconds. Repeated casts refresh the duration. |
The vocalist's signature set increases knowledge and ethereal damage. Requires enemy stuns, so it favors synergy with Intimidation. |
![]() 2 Piece: Anomaly control +8%. 4 Piece: When any squad member uses a Enhanced Special Attack, the agent with this item gains 45 Anomaly Knowledge for 8 seconds. If the Enhanced Special Attack is used by someone other than the agent with this item, the etheric damage dealt by the agent with this item is increased by 25%. |
Excellent vinyl records, the effects of which are realized through allies. "Half" contains control, an important stat for the singer, and the passive of the full set provides damage stats. |
![]() Chaos metal 2 parts: Ethereal damage + 10%. 4 parts: Critical Damage +20%. If any team member triggers Infection, the Critical Damage increase is increased by 5,5%. Stacks up to 6 levels and lasts 8 seconds. Repeated casts refresh the duration. |
The discs are designed to increase critical hits proportionally to the frequency of anomaly activation. Suitable for experimental builds, especially if the heroine has M1 unlocked. |
It is better to fill free disk slots with halves:
- Ballad of Phaeton (priority): control +8%.
- Chaos Jazz/Freedom Blues: Knowledge +30.

Optimal values for comfortable play as a damage dealer:
- Control: starting from 180 units up to 250 units (more can be pumped up by passives of sets, agents or weapons during the battle);
- Knowledge: about 240 units
- ATK: 2+
Set and passive effects of boosters are not automatically calculated in preview mode. You can check your final stats during battle.
Which banbu is suitable?
It's best to choose a banba for Aria with an applique of an attribute similar to the singer's, or use an assistant capable of restoring energy for the skill:
| Banbu | The effect |
![]() |
Can regenerate HP for the active hero and cast Ethereal Anomaly. If there are two or more members of the "Angels of Delusion" faction in the party, healing allies grants 50 ATK for 30 seconds and increases the effectiveness of Ethereal. |
![]() Rezonabu ![]() to Beelzeb |
Bunnies with good application, which is significantly increased if there are two agents with Ether in the team. |
![]() |
Blows up bubbles and leaves them on the field. Touching the bubbles will restore energy. The buff's effect is enhanced if the squad has a Support. |
![]() |
Leaves stars on the field that restore energy. If the squad has a "Support," ATK is restored along with the VE. |
When playing with other Angels members, the choice should fall on the signature Fanbu; in all other cases, everything depends on the composition and level of the eared companion.
Aria's Squad Guide in Zenless Zone Zero

Despite belonging to a specialty most often played in pairs, the vocalist aims for a hyper-carry role in teams with buffers and stunners. For additional leverage, she needs an Intimidation or Support ally, especially one with limited field time. Companions should also be able to inflict status effects directly from their pockets, activating all the abilities of both the idol and their passives.
She's best used within the "Angels of Delusion" group; otherwise, she risks losing damage. Furthermore, when teamed with other members, the singer unlocks limited animations for combined attacks and idle animations.
Best allies
The best team composition for a heroine should include agents who can both provide her with appropriate buffs and utilize their abilities. When choosing other allies, pay attention to the additional stats, which will often have to be sacrificed.
| Character | Features |
![]() |
The best stunner for Aria. It gives her the necessary stun window to deal damage, speeds up attribute application, and requires very little time on the field. |
![]() |
The best representative of this class for Aria. It doesn't take up her time on the field, attracts enemies, and strengthens the singer thanks to its Wind attribute properties. It also activates Ablooms. |
![]() |
Although it requires more time on the field, it activates anomaly emissions, increasing their damage and allowing them to ignore enemy defense percentage. |
![]() |
A signature support that provides increased ATK, damage, and even critical hits for her anomalous attacks. She applies a debuff to enemies, causing them to "explode." She's capable of dealing damage from the pocket and wears useful sets that can significantly boost her DPS in a group. |
![]() |
Accelerates attribute application on enemies and provides energy for charged skills. A pocket-sized support with aftershocks and long-lasting buffs, allowing the damage dealer to remain on the battlefield for extended periods. |
![]() |
Provides a direct boost to ATK and Critical Ratings. It can also restore HP to the entire squad if needed. While in Singer Stance, you'll constantly be able to summon quick support, and long-lasting buffs eliminate the need to renew them. |
![]() |
A free-to-play supporter capable of providing temporary support to the singer until a better alternative is available. It's best to equip Knowledge on the third disc slot to avoid losing damage from abnormal statuses while the heroine refreshes her buffs. |
Best team samples
Aria's squads are extremely limited in composition due to the character's specific nature. She thrives in groups that can inflict attribute effects while also possessing stuns or buffs.
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
Aria | Nangong | Sanna | A signature team of "Angels of Obsession" with perfect synergy and shared animations after some moves. |
Aria | Velina | Nangong Sanna | A strong squad for the Wind attribute, which itself speeds up the application of anomalies and increases damage. However, Aria will need someone else in the group. |
Aria | Promea | Sanna | Another variant of a squad with two Anomaly agents with maximum emission enhancement. |
Aria | Dialing Trigger | Sanna Astra Yao | Both stunners featured have convenient mechanics for interacting with the singer. Dialing stuns targets very quickly. The trigger stuns from the pocket and can also act as a shock applicator if you equip "Control" to the sixth slot of the disc. |
Aria | Sanna | Astra Yao Ukinami Yuzuha | Sanna creates Ethereal Veil with all the buffs, and Astra or Yuzuha act as bonus supports, providing attribute or stat buffs. |
Aria | Vivian Banshee Burnice White | Ukinami Yuzuha | A squad built around synergy between attributes. With Vivian, you'll get a greater boost from the Blossom explosion due to the multiplier on her passive. Yuzuha will speed up the status effect on the target. |
Aria | Enby Demara | Nicole Demara Zhao | A free-to-play group for the first time. Nicole has a tie-up, enemy defense reduction, and a bonus to Ethereal Critical Damage. Zhao is considered a budget hero with Ethereal Veil, which provides more bonuses to the anomalous damage dealer. |

With the development of the Inclinations, the meaning control will grow by 32 .
Leveling
Level-up materials are obtained by farming in the AIC Club and the Ruthless Hunt. At the time of the idol's release, the "Overdrive" stat will be available for high-level idols, increasing rewards for boss battles.

How the skills work

During combat, the vocalist accumulates stacks of Support Fluids, which she later uses to charge her basic attack to a certain value and perform a falling attack. This attack has a higher damage multiplier, making it a priority in her rotation. The entire gameplay revolves around accumulating stacks and then spending them to perform plunges, during which she will use "Flowering."
Generating Fluids is aided by using a charged skill or other available moves, as well as by manifesting Ethereal Veil or a stun. After using the Ultimate, a "Moment of Obsession" state is activated, along with a new type of charge, "Hall Support," which is consumed primarily for ground attacks. This ultimate immediately allows the use of an enhanced version of a charged non-attack ability and consumes fewer Fluid charges.
- Basic attacks: up to four consecutive hits. Charged ones have a unique "level" mechanic of up to three: they absorb the ones placed on the field "Support Fluids" (light sticks) and due to this receives 1 stack (max 3 charges) and 1 acceleration accumulation of Ether for the subsequent strike while falling (max 2, reset after the attack).
- Evasion и Help: standard set for a damage dealer.
- Special attack: A charged skill generates 3 light sticks at once, reusing it will trigger a second stage called "Instant Boost", allowing you to make a plunge and earn an additional 3 stacks.
- Attack Chain and Super Ability: The center places 4 Fluid. While in the Ultimate, enters the "Moment of Obsession" state (for 15 seconds), fires a series of shots at the target, earning 3 stacks "Hall support" and opens an Ethereal Veil for 30 seconds with +50 ATK. Hall Support charges allow you to spend them first instead of Fluid stacks, converting as 1 Support = 2 Fluids.
- Main Passive Skill: Landing a third-stage Plunge Attack on a target affected by any attribute causes Abloom!!!. The additional damage dealt to the target increases based on the target's crowd control for every 10 units. Damage against a stunned target is increased by 50%.
- Additional passive: when there is a detachment Support or IntimidationAfter creating an Etheric Veil, 2 Support Fluids are generated every 15 seconds. Stunning an elite enemy or boss generates 4 Support Fluids every 25 seconds. If your control is above 180, each point is converted into 1,5 Knowledge points.
The order of leveling skills
Traits > Basic Attacks > Special Attack (EX) = Quick Strike (QTE) > Dodge = Assist
Damage sources depend on the chosen stack and build, but the passive primary skill will provide a steady boost to both your "hand" and anomalous effects. The remaining skills should be leveled in the following order:
- Makings directly affect the additional damage from "Bloom" and will allow you to increase your ATK and control.
- Basic attack — the singer's most frequently used primary ability. It requires maximum resource investment to maximize the multiplier from Plunge stages.
- Special Attack и Ult They primarily serve as tools for generating Fluids on the field or summoning Etheric Veil. They'll only deal impressive damage with a sufficient balance of ATK and Critical Damage.
- Evasion и help - if there are "extra" resources.
The best eidoses
Individual parts of the mental picture increase damage and make being on the field more comfortable.
| M1 | When dealing damage with a non-lethal, special, or enhanced attack, 10% of the target's Ether accumulation resistance is ignored. "Blooming" has a certain critical hit chance: base CC and CC—25%. If the initial control exceeds 100 points, every 1 point above this value increases the critical hit chance of "Blooming" by 0,5%. |
| M2 | The heroine's attacks and "Bloom" ignore 16% of the target's defense. During "Moment of Obsession," the effect is increased by 8%. |
| M3 | Level of b/a, evasion, assistance, special attack and c/a - +2. |
| M4 | When Blooming, it gains 4 energy and 70 decibels. It can only trigger once every 10 seconds. |
| M5 | Level of b/a, evasion, assistance, special attack and c/a - +2. |
| M6 | The first time she enters the field, she generates 1,200 decibels (in reconnaissance mode, the effect is triggered once every 180 seconds). After activating Moment of Obsession, she no longer exits it for the rest of the battle, and the damage from her charged B/A and Ultimate is increased by 40%. While in Moment of Obsession, she gains 1 stack of Hall Support when any enemy enters the attribute anomaly state. This effect can only be triggered once every 6 seconds. If she gains Hall Support beyond level 3, the excess Hall Support is converted into 2 Fluids on the battlefield. |
The best cons of Aria are - first, second и sixth.
- M1 Increases the overall effectiveness of the Infection application and allows you to deal more damage with Bloom, although the latter buff may not be as stable without developed crowd control.
- For M2 A defense ignore feature appears, allowing you to deal with targets faster.
- M6 Offers a powerful buff that will always keep the girl in a strengthened state. This improves the generation of light sticks, allowing them to be continuously consumed and triggering Phase 3 of the charged b/a.
In terms of investment, it's a priority to start with a signal, since it's the only way to reach the required stat cap.
How to play as Aria
The game revolves around receiving and spending "Support Fluids" (light sticks), which appear on the field when certain conditions are met:
- Skill without energy after stage 4 b/a — 1 stack;
- With Intimidation or Support on the team: deploying Ethereal Veil - 2 charges;
- Charged Skill (EX) - 3 glasses + 3 more after using the second charged skill;
- Chain of attacks - 4 charges;
- Superpower - 3 glasses "Hall Support" (can be converted into 6 "Fluids").
During the enhanced state of "Moment of Obsession", similar charges of "Hall Support" are earned, they are used to perform Plunges first.
Based on how stacks are obtained and how the main skills work, the rotation for the vocalist should look like this:
- Prepare the field for the damage dealer to enter, based on the squad composition and the presence of buffers or other agents capable of applying the attribute effect to targets.
- Press the charged Lightstick Creation skill. You can reuse it if you have enough energy.
- Consume stacks while charging a normal attack to perform a Plunge attack. You must use at least three "sticks" to perform the third, most powerful attack—if you hit a target with an attribute anomaly, "Bloom" will trigger. Repeat until there are no more "Fluids" on the field.
- Use your ult to gain 3 stacks of Hall Support, which you can use for level 3 Plunges.
The rest of the time, to refresh your charges, don't forget about the central battery and the opportunity to get 1 charge for the 4th stage without a charge.
Is it worth knocking out Aria?

In ZZZ, Angels of Delusion's vocalist, Aria, boasts engaging and dynamic gameplay, standing out from the rest of the Anomaly with her "Bloom" planges. Priority teams for her include Intimidation and Support compositions, opening up even more opportunities to inflict increased damage on a stunned target. She also excels in hyper-carry squads with two suitable supports capable of quickly applying the attribute to an enemy.
She's not particularly welcoming to new players, as she requires investment not only in her signature weapon but also in her team composition. Without a suitable build and reliable allies, she's unlikely to compete in damage output with other players of a similar specialization. She should be considered as an addition to your collection if you plan to collect all the idols and gain a diverse gaming experience thanks to her unique skill set.

I have Nicole as a partner, but not Lycaon. With Nicole, I couldn't shut down the rabid strongman in defense today. But with Lycaon, I could.
At least add him as a partner; you're all about buffers there. Aria also needs stunlocks; a stunlock adds half the ammo for Aria's planch attack and a 50 percent damage bonus.
Honestly, I think I should add a note for Aria. They say Nangong is generally great as a deterrent. So, I could add that she might be S+ with her signature pack, just like Miyabi with the "expert" note.
Who do you think is better for the M1 on Aria or Yuzuha? I actually have a weapon for Aria, but I'm still unsure about the one for Yuzuha...
Maybe wait and knock Nangong out for Aria?
What about the "Crying Twins" on her?
How about checking out the Zzz Academy guide?
The twins are the last on the list in terms of rating for her, below only the compiler, but by the way, not a word about the gourmet.
If you don't have anything from the top of the list, then it's better to download "Magnetic Storm: Alpha", it gives both the strength and control that Aria needs so much.
Is it possible to pair Aria with Alice, and if so, who should they add as a third partner? Yuzuha or someone else?
