Molds в Genshin impact - regular opponents from the category mystical beasts. These enemies are found throughout Sumeru. The resources that you can get from them are used to exalt characters and weapons.
This guide will show you where to find Molds in Genshin Impact on the Sumeru map and how to farm them efficiently.
Types of molds
Molds are divided into many small types of different elements and larger molds. Each enemy has 10% resistance to all types of damage, excluding some.
Soaring molders
- Floating Hydro Mold. This enemy is able to create a bubble around itself for its own protection, as well as launch it at the player, dealing Hydro damage. He is not an elemental being, that is not elementally charged default (like slime).
- Soaring dendro mold is capable of firing Dendro energy balls at the player: one projectile, three projectiles, and one with increased damage. The enemy has resistance in 25% to your element.
- Soaring Anemo Mold. Shoots spheres of Anemo energy at the player, dealing 60% of Anemo's attack damage. After being cast on it, Electro will release 3 spheres, after being cast on Pyro, it will increase the damage to 100% of the Attack characteristic. He can also push, dealing physical damage.
Circling Molds
In total there are three types of such creatures. They are distinguished by a resistance of 20% to Dendro elements and their own.
- Whirling Electro Mold. The peculiarity of this enemy lies in the fact that during the attack, he, quickly rotating, flies towards the player. The modified skill looks the same, but it tries to crash into its opponent.
- Whirling cryo molder. During its normal attack, this enemy hides underground and quickly approaches the player. In modified versions of this skill, he either hooks his opponent three times or deals more damage.
- Whirling Pyro Mold. Sticks into the ground and after charging, it explodes, dealing 60% of Pyro's attack as AoE damage. After casting, Electro will speed up the attack and will make 3 explosions in a row. Once cast, Elemental Pyro will reduce attack speed, but increase explosion area and damage (up to 100% of attack). Also able to quickly rotate and deal physical damage (30% attack).
Stretch molds
His usual attack is that he stretches, charges and spins his hat, dealing damage around. They have 20% resistance to Dendro and their element.
Three varieties can be found in Sumeru:
- Stretchable pyro mold. During the skill, this enemy jumps into the air and falls on the spot where the player is standing. This attack can be enhanced: increase speed and reduce cooldown, or increase normal and AoE damage.
- Stretching Anemo Mold. During the skill, this enemy fires up to 3 projectiles at the player. Strengthening, it can either increase the speed and number of charges, or damage.
- Stretchable Geo Mold. During the skill, it charges and begins to “tumble” towards the player. When empowered, it either increases speed and reduces cooldown, or increases damage.
- Stretchable electro mold. Stretches and rotates the hat, dealing 30% of the attack as physical damage. Once cast, Electro increases attack speed. Attacking Pyro with an element will reduce the speed, but increase the damage by up to 60% and the chance to knock back the hero. Also shoots balls at the enemy, dealing 60% of the attack as Electro damage. After casting, Electro will shoot 3 balls in a row. After casting, Pyro will increase the damage of the balls to 100% attack.
Moroviki
Carrots are large in size, and their resistance to Dendro and their element is 30%. There are four types in total:
- Earth Hydro Carrier. The usual attack is a simple kick. Sometimes he summons 1 or 2 large water bubbles and launches them at the player.
- Winged Dendro Morovik. Can fly. The enemy has resistance in 40% to Dendro damage. In a normal attack, he flaps his wings at his opponent. From time to time, the trooper creates a Dendro ball and launches it at the player, sometimes the enemy can fly up and drop 2 bombs.
- Winged cryo morovik. He, like his Dendro brother, is distinguished by the ability to fly. A normal attack is to strike the player with wings. During the skills, the morovik goes to ram, dealing damage.
- Earth Geo Morovik. Able to perform a combo of 2 physical hits (75 and 80% attack), rush to the target with a run (up to 85% attack), and also jump, hitting the ground with a hat and causing AoE Geo damage. In all cases, applying Electro will increase the speed of attacks, and Pyro - damage.
Where to find molds in Genshin Impact on the map: farming routes for spores, pollen, crystalcysts
Molds are found throughout Sumeru, and there are a lot of them. You can find these enemies both on the surface and underground. We will also analyze several convenient routes that take into account the terrain in the desert subregion of Sumeru. You can visit the Underground Shaft Mines, but there are few creatures there.
Open Traveler's guide, select the "Enemies”, and you can track the location of the nearest mold or bug on the map.
Jungle Lokapal
Forest of Motiyama
There are 2 farming routes in the Motiyima forest: a large one and a small one. Head to the southern teleport, clear next to them and fly to the other side. After that, teleport to the north, walk along the cliff and go to the "lower" part of the forest.
Chatrakam cave
Chatrakam Cave only has 1, but a very efficient farming route. Move to the underground teleport, which opens as part of the quest chain Agnihotra Sutra. From there, you can move south or north.
Near Electro Fern
Southwest of Electro Regisvine there is a small swamp where you will find many moulds. Another point is nearby, on a hill. The teleport closest to the boss leads to his cave, and not to the enemies.
Vanarana
The area opens at quest Mir aranar.
East of location
To the east of Vanarana you can find huge mold growths. Move to the teleporter located above the Vanarana of the past. From there, follow the route and end up at a point at the waterfall. Some of the enemies are underground, next to feathery mold. You can also earn there Achievement Spectator wins.
Locations in the west
In the west of Vanarana there is only one cluster of molds. Teleport to the easternmost teleporter and go to the path leading to the City of Sumeru.
Forest of Avidya
Slope Gandha
There are two major routes on the slope of Gadha, however both are underground and consist of cave systems. To unlock full access to farming in this area, you will need to complete the quest chain Agnihotra Sutra.
The entrance to the first cave is located along the path from the teleport marked on the route to the north. Run along the road until you see a building with a riddle and a chest on the left: opposite it is a descent. For a complete cleaning, you will need to lower the water. The very first group of enemies is on the surface.
To start the second route, move to the Dendro Archon Statue in Gandarkhva, and run north from it. Find a small house, behind which is the entrance to the cave: it is blocked by roots. It is also worth going around the relief from above, outside the cave you will also meet Plesennikov.
Chinvat Gorge
Chinvat Gorge has 2 trails and 1 cluster. Move to the teleporter next to Sumeru City and from it move towards Gandarhwa. From there, teleport west and go south. At the end, head to the Archon Statue under Gandha Slope.
City of Sumeru
Sumeru City has 2 small dots located in the west of the area, under the roots of the tree.
South of Yazadah Pond
There are two small clusters of "mushrooms" south of the Yazadah Pond. From the teleport in the east of Vishuddhi Meadows, move to the right on the map, then south.
Vishuddhi meadows
In all Vishuddhi Meadows there are only 4 points with Molds. The route can be started from the teleport at the top of the mountain located above Pardis Dhyai. Go around 2 places on the rock and move north towards the Statue of the Archon. In that mountain is cave with mysteries.
Ardravi Valley
East of Mount Devantaki
To the east of Mount Devantaki there are 2 routes: underground and surface. To get into the cave, go to the right side of the huge automaton, there is a path leading inside the rock. The second route goes along the eastern part of the location. There are also quest chains vimana agama.
West of Mount Devantaki
West of Mount Devantaki there are also 2 trails. From the Statue of the Archon, go to the other side, towards Port Ormos. Farm the molders and head north. After that, move to the southern teleport at Vimara Village and move to the east: there are more enemies on the other side.
Land Ashavan
Pardis Dhyai
To farm molders at Pardis Dhyai, move to the Archon Statue in the southeast of the location. Move north and then east to the edge of the plain. From there head towards Apam Thicket.
The monument are clear
Jasna Monument has 1 very efficient route, which is divided into 3 parts for easier clearing. From the Statue of the Archon under Pardis Dhyay, go northwest, and from there to the "main part". At the fork in the paths, you can either go north, further west or south - the last option is the most "profitable". There is a huge accumulation of molds on the territory above the Caravan Ribat.
Thicket Apam
There are 2 routes in Apam Thicket: 1 on the west side and 1 on the east side. There are not many molds and it can be difficult to find them: some underground, some in trees. It is worth considering this place as one of the last in the global pharma route. Underground caves are visited in a quest Prayer for rain on fertile land.
Ruins of Dahri
All molds in the Ruins of Dahri are located on the eastern part of the mountain: from the southern teleport, go along the edge of the cliff, moving towards the Ruins themselves, where there are a few more enemies.
Land of Lower Setekh
At the Caravan Ribat
Several bands of moulders are scattered along the sides of the trail to Aaru Village. Also, 3 groups can be found in the north and northwest of the Caravan Ribat.
At the village of Aaru
Not a very convenient route due to the need to climb mountains a lot. Molds are found on the heights of the cliffs surrounding the village. The most promising route can be built from the teleport in the northwest of the village: it is located on a hill and it is easy to get to 3 groups of mobs from it.
At Hajj Nisut
Around the temple on the tops of the mountains, as well as in the ruins located nearby, there are many molds. In addition to clearing targets near the temple itself, you can go hunting from the nearby teleporters marked on the screenshot.
South of Dar al-Shifa
From the teleportation point to the south of the former hospital, a lot of molds and pests are easily accessible. Many of them chose 2 oases, one of which is located near the temple with huge obelisk (disappear if you clear it). An excellent route without climbing: you can smoothly descend from the slope to the west and end up at the oasis near the obelisk.
Read how to get the hidden achievement and rewards in guide to three huge obelisks.
Land of Upper Setekh
In the north of the location
Start from the statue of the seven Archons and move to the west, and then from the side of the mountain, down to the south. On the campaign, meet 5 groups of desired enemies.
In the south of the location
Extremely inconvenient route, because. most moulders are found in small underground caves and there are few places where multiple groups are concentrated. However, if you know where the caves are, you can get around everything and get spores relatively quickly. In this case, we will present a map of the underground regions in the Land of Upper Setekh.
Some caves open only after completing the world task Afratu's dilemma.
Desert Colonnade
Beneath the magma dune
To find molders, head to Dune Magma and go down to the underground corridor under the pyramid, in which 4 groups live. Check out a separate solution guide puzzles in Magma Dune, if you have trouble accessing the underground area, or simply move to the nearest underground teleportif the location is open. In this route, it is important not to confuse the cave passages and not turn into an unnecessary place. Use the dungeon map to make your way easier.
In a cave west of the Thomab
A lot of molders and blighters can also be found in the dungeons west of the Thomab of King Deshret, but the path to all mobs is initially winding: you need to go around to gain access to the second part Sobek caves, where is also hidden wilting zone. Don't forget to open a short path between the parts of the cave (indicated in the screenshot).
In the north of the location
Start with a one-time dungeon Garden of Endless Columns and run south. The path forks: you can go west to beat the molders at the huge obelisk (if you haven’t cleared it), or go east, ending your path at Dune Feast. Several mobs are inside the small pyramid, on the lower level.
How to pass the puzzle in the Dune of Feasts find out in separate material.
Desert Hadramavet
In the Hadramavet Desert, you can also find a lot of molds. Opponents are common both on the surface and in underground spaces. Below we will consider the routes for clearing all areas of the region where these creatures are found.
South Hadramavet
In the south of Hadramavet, it is most convenient to start the farming path from the Statue of the Archons. Bypassing the camp, fly to the peak and then collect resources from opponents in the western direction. After that, head to the ruins of Safkhe Shatranj. There is also another gathering point in the north, under Wadi al-Majuj.
Wadi al-Majuj
To find the molders in Wadi al-Majuj, move to the eastern teleportation point and move along the slope to the northwest. The route in this location involves only four places where opponents gather. Some of them are in a crevice.
East Hadramavet
In the east of the desert, there is one full-fledged route for farming resources from molders: at the Ghoul Pass. There is also one gathering point each in the Steel Dunes, near the underground dungeon city of the dead and on the surface near Downed Seteha.
Qusayr al-Inhidha
Travel to the underground teleport in Qusayr al-Inhid, which was opened by quest "Abundance under the sand dunes 1". Follow to the east and overcome a bunch of molds there, and then from here - to the northwest. After that, teleport again to the same point and clear out two nearby enemy clusters. Then explore the ruins further towards the west.
Land of three channels
In the Land of Three Channels, the main pharma route is the underground one, which will be opened by quest "Abundance under the sand dunes 2". Start from the teleportation point under the surface, clear the space on the east and northwest sides. Then use the teleport in the east of the area and find the molders to the left and right of it. After that, you can run through two collection points in the north of the location.
Break-legs valley
There are two ways to farm in Break Legs Valley. Most molds can be found under the surface of the location, northeast of the underground teleport. You will also find two collection points inside the golem, and you can get to them from the upper teleport in the west. This is what the location will look like when completed. quest "Abundance under the sand dunes 3".
Underground Rift Mines
Opponents meet in underground mines of the Rift; specifically: in the Underground Waters, in the Luminous Passages, and in the ruins to the south.
The groundwater
We head to the left of the teleport point in Underground Waters, we go deep into the caves. We get to the cliff and go down on the glider down. Molds are located on the shores of the lake.
Glowing passages and ruins to the south
Teleport to Luminous passages and we move forward, downstream, and down the waterfalls. There are most molds here, but you should be on the lookout: you meet with them jumpers, Hydro slimes and other hostile creatures.
В southern ruins mobs can be found right under part of the destroyed bridge. After killing three opponents, several more will appear, as well as Crio Boots.

Nahida also needs controversy, but apparently the article was written before her appearance in the game
Thank you, you noted all the heroes and weapons)
so it should be miserly dust? I’m already using cryo alone, it turns out that the cat cried, and I have 3 children who need to be pumped somehow
the dust is kind of falling
I agree with the comment below. When you make a guide, you need to check it in the game! 2/3 of the moulders on the route are simply missing, either because they are in the caves, as mentioned earlier, or they only appear once as part of the puzzle.
It is not possible to fix the guide, because such errors are almost on every screenshot. It's easier to delete this disgrace and write again!
So tell me, who did these wonderful farm routes? The author, apparently, drew the arrows using an exclusively interactive map and did not check them at all in the game, because in a good half of the routes the molds are stupidly underground right in the middle of the route. A good example is Route 1 in the Forest of Avidya. The author noted the teleport and while I was walking along this route, I did not find a single mold, because they are all in the cave, which you need to enter from the statue of the archons in Gandharva. It's just disgusting.
Thank you for noticing! Fixed the route in the Forest of Avidya.
Please explain to me that Glowing Pollen and Crystalcyst Dust will not drop from molds if they are put into a state of revival or burning. I understand correctly?
Yes. the chance of dropping is reduced to almost 0. so you should not use Electro and Pyro Persians if you are collecting dust
Hmm, I spent a week beating and knocked out 5 dust, I thought it was some kind of bug.
