Valery is a high-ranking military officer in Genshin Impact and one of the four male characters from Snezhnaya shown in the trailer "Sudden Snowstorm"A strict and strong soldier who maintains order during the opera house performance, he is one of the most influential figures in Snow City and the entire Cryo Kingdom.
Who is Valery in Genshin Impact?
The man works as a Fatui officer and the head of the Royal Military Academy, a prestigious educational institution Snowy, which trains outstanding fighters. It was first mentioned by Bombardier-Lieutenant Stepanyan (Onyx Agate) in the "Trials of a Brave Warrior" event. He recounted how the major was his mentor and one of the most respected figures in the academy, and also recalled his lessons in politeness and military discipline.
The name Valery (in English Valeriy) does not refer to any specific historical figure or mythical character, but it originates from Ancient Rome. Family name Valerius refers to one of the most influential Roman houses and is derived from the Latin word ok, meaning "to be strong."
What does the character look like
The warrior's appearance befits his rank—he is a tall, powerfully built man with a stern face. He has fair skin, deep violet eyes, and short, dark gray hair. He wears a black military uniform with a long fur coat and numerous metal details.
Eye of God, weapons and skills
In the trailer, Valery uses either a large one-handed sword or a claymore, wielding it with only one hand. Vision The Major's Star Wedge wasn't shown in the video, so its element is officially unknown, although insiders and fans have already noted several clues:
- Previously, a Chinese insider under the nickname 呵哒 opened it as 5⭐ Electro hero. Later 木偶家的小鸽子 confirmed the guess and clarified that he would become a DD from the Star Guide.
- In the video, his attacks have a light blue tint, which may indicate Cryo's strength.
- 点4结束 thinks he's a 4⭐ Anemo character Elva Spring.
The most interesting detail is the bear that appears during the battle. It's not yet known whether it's merely a symbolic representation of the officer's power or part of his future abilities.
Release Date
If the information is from 木偶家的小鸽子 If it turns out to be true, the Fatui fighter may become playable November 4, in update 7.2. Otherwise, its release may be delayed until March 2027 and patch 7.5 or later.
