In Genshin Impact, the 'Night of the Sky's Unveiling' damage artifact set offers an Elemental Mastery buff when equipped with two pieces and a full critical hit chance buff when equipped with a full set. The passive requires Lunar reactions, which some characters from Nod-Krai posess.
In this guide we will tell you what determines what bonus the owner of the set will receive, how to get all 30% of the bonus, and what companion mechanics the set works with.
Where to find the 'Night of the Sky's Unveiling' artifact set in Genshin Impact
The set can be obtained in three ways:
- farm the Nod-Krai dungeon Frostladen Machinery;

- take advantage of the artifact converter;

- During the Outbreak period, farm artifacts in Stygian Onslaught, choosing this set as the main reward.

How the set works
If you use 2 parts, the character's overall elemental mastery value will increase by 80. The effect of the full set can be activated by any hero if the team performs Lunar Reactions. After the reaction, the wielder of the set is granted a status for four seconds that increases the critical chance:
- + 15 %, if there is only one Nod-Krai hero (Nascent Gleam) in the team;
- + 30 %, if there are two companions from the Autonomous Region (Ascendant Gleam) in the party.
| +15% crit chance | |||

| +30 crit chance | |||

The damage of Lunar Reactions itself is also increased by 10%. The latter effect does not stack with the second set of Night of the Sky's Unveiling if there are several wielders in the team, but when used together with Serenade of the Silk Moon, it will be possible to get the increase up to a total of 20%.
Set Bonuses
| 2 parts | Increases Elemental Mastery by 80. |
| 4 parts | If nearby party members trigger Lunar Reactions while the equipped character is active, the effect of Gleaming Moon: Intent is activated for 4 seconds: If the party's Moonsign is Nascent Radiance/Ascendant Gleam, their critical hit chance is increased by 15%/30%. For each active effect of Gleaming Moon of different types in the party, the damage of Lunar Reactions of all party members is increased by 10%. The effects of Gleaming Moon do not stack. |

Who should wear the 'Night of the Sky's Unveiling' set?
Globally, the wielder of the complete set can be any main-dps character in a group that has at least two heroes from Nod-Krai, even if the main dps does not belong to this kingdom themselves. However, in most cases, the set will be worn by the Nod-Krai characters, who are able to immediately cover the need for one level of the Moonsign.
| Character | Recommendation |
Kyryll |
Spends a lot of time in combat, ideally suited to the main criterion for wearing the set. To get a bonus of 30%, it is recommended to use Ineffa or Aino in the group. The skill set of a typical main DD with a dependence on the value of critical mass allows you to reveal the potential of the set in the best possible way. |
Nefer |
Most often paired with Lauma, requires elemental mastery. |
Zibai |
The White Horse uses defense Clock and Goblet. The optimal companion for the second level of the Moo sign is the lightkeeper Illuga. |
Columbina |
Usually Columbina uses the Aubade of Morningstar and Moon or Silken Moon's Serenadesets, but if she is used in the driver role and not in the pocket, she can be equipped with this set. |
The set will not fit robot Ineffa, since she fights from the pocket, and the set's effect only activates if its wearer is on the battlefield. Two parts can be considered as a temporary option for the heroes dependent on Elemental mastery:
| Character | Recommendation |
| Buffers with elemental mastery scaling. To achieve the greatest increase in this parameter, you can use a 2+2 Elemental mastery mix for the first time, until you buy full buffer sets. |
What artifacts to combine the set with
Before choosing the second set to combine this set with, highlight the key characteristics of the companion and pay attention to their gameplay style. Depending on the parameter that affects the work of their abilities, decide on an additional stat:
- elemental mastery: Flower of Paradise Lost, Gilded Dreams, Wanderer's Troupe
- energy recovery: Emblem of Severed Fate, Silken Moon's Serenade.
- sets with other bonuses: Golden Troupe, Marechaussee Hunter, Noblesse Oblige, Long Night's Oath.
- ATK: Unfinished Reverie, Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy, Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods, Echoes of an Offering, Vermillion Hereafter, Shimenawa's Reminiscence, Gladiator’s Finale.
- HP: Vourukasha’s Glow, Tenacity of the Millelith.
- Elemental damage: Blizzard Strayer, Finale of the Deep Galleries, Desert Pavilion Chronicle, Deepwood Memories, Heart of Depth.

100 Resin for the onslaught, not a single item from this damned set that even remotely resembles the real deal, and I'm good for any stat, I need all three... No, I understand that a 2+2 perfect stat combo is hard to beat, but that only gives you a 60 Crit Mass bonus, and here you'll lose 20/or your main stat on every item you replace, so what's the point of such a set anyway? But Aino and Ilyukha are absolutely covered in stats from the Serenade.
This set will suit navia in the squad: navia, columbina, linnea, furina?
The team of Flins/Aino/Iansan/Sakharoz. I'm wondering if the condition is to trigger Lunar Reactions, will Aino's ultimate count as that? Or should a support damage dealer block Lunar Reactions? So, instead of Iansan, should I use Fischl, who would passively block Lunar Reactions?
That is, if in order to receive a 30 ksh buff (when the active character's allies trigger a lunar reaction), then it shouldn't be the DD himself who triggers the reaction...
Would this set be suitable for Keqing, or would the "Thundering Fury" set be better? Assuming Ineffa and Aino are in the party. I can't figure out which is more profitable.
Yes, it will do. I would recommend the North End set for several reasons, starting with the fact that it will be easier to farm (it's in the dungeon with Aino's SE), and ending with the fact that the set can be equipped on any character playing in a team with North End reactions. Basically, if you knock out someone stronger than Keqing in the future who is playing with Klumba/Ineffa, you can hand them her set, saving time. I can't comment on the damage output.
Is it possible for DD Columbine?
