Guide to Cissy in Zenless Zone Zero With an analysis of the "Poison" meter and the "Bone Eater" periodic effect. Through her passive skills, the heroine provides the team with a significant buff that ignites enemy defenses with electric DPS and a critical damage bonus. Her damage delivery method allows her to engage in close combat, and all her beneficial statuses combine to make her an excellent fighter with support capabilities.
Her build focuses on energy regeneration and balancing her core damage dealer stats. She has a decent budget-friendly booster and several limited-edition options, as well as a well-suited set of Drive Discs. Her only drawback is that without five-star Electro Agents, team building can be challenging, as she plays as a snake in mono-teams.

How to Get the Character

Cissia can be obtained in the banner of the second half of patch 2.7 in due time. from April 15 to May 5, 2026, and in the adjacent "Signal Search" there will be an opportunity to pick up her signature amplifier "Reptilolator".
To avoid missing the agent's rerun, follow the banner schedule in this article.
Strengths and Weaknesses

The former criminal is a great secondary damage dealer for teams with other electrical agents. She quickly activates her buffs and retreats into the field, giving the damage dealer and stunner constant time. Her main drawback is her narrow bonuses, which means she's only effective in a limited number of teams.
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| She requires little time on the battlefield. Most of her abilities trigger a quick assist to instantly return to her primary damage dealer. | Her main buff is that she ignores lightning damage defenses, which greatly limits her potential squad builds. |
| Thanks to "Bone Chewer", he can inflict periodic electrical damage "from the pocket". | The girl is aiming for a secondary or even "pocket" DPS position, so she needs an Electro DPS partner. Packs containing her are also quite expensive. |
| A simple rotation based on the timely use of skills and superpowers. | It's difficult to balance energy regeneration and damage output without a signature amplifier. This results in reduced personal damage. |
| Spreads several buffs to the team at once: distributes critical hits, allows you to ignore enemy defenses, and opens the Ethereal Veil. | |
| Stuns enemies almost as effectively as Intimidation Agents. Teams with this class can even easily do without characters of this class. |
The Best Builds for Cissy in ZZZ

The key characteristic of the snake tyrena is energy recharge, because this stat determines how much of the enemy's defense will be ignored by the team's Electric DPS. Cissia also needs to improve her ATK (and, consequently, her Critical Chance and Damage) to maximize Bone Chewer's damage while she's "in the pocket." Other stats that will be useful include Percent Penetration, a bonus to Electric, and general DPS buffs.
Rating of amplifiers
Energy regeneration is a must-have weapon stat for Cissia. If it's replaced by another stat, she'll have to be on the field more often, taking time away from her primary damage dealer.
| Amplifier | The effect | Recommendation |

Grants 25-40% Crit. chance. For every 20 energy spent at once, the agent's Electric DPS is increased for 3 seconds and he ignores 28-42% enemy defense. If the effect is reactivated, its duration stacks up to 30 seconds and does not decrease while the agent not on the battlefieldAt the start of the battle, this buff is granted for 10 seconds. |
A signature variant for the snake. This skill consumes up to 60 energy to gain "Poison" and apply the "Bone Eater" effect, dealing damage over time and activating a buff. |

|
If the agent uses a strengthened E-class or C/A, B/A and dash attacks deal damage to 50-80% More electrical damage over 10 seconds. The passive effect has a 5-second cooldown, which, if misused, can deprive the girl of the buff until the next use of the skill. |

What drives to install
The heroine is suited for general sets for electric damage dealers, secondary damage dealers, and supports. Of the "halves," we recommend Moonlight Lullaby и "Swing Jazz" +20% energy recovery. You can also combine sets from the table with each other and consider sets with a critical chance bonus ("Dyatlokor-electro") or critical damage ("The Song of the Branch and the Blade").
| Set and its effects | Features |
![]() Thunderous heavy metal 2 Piece: Electric URN increases by 10%. |
A good set for Snake, as it provides a bonus to Electro and increases ATK. Enemies will often be in a Shock state thanks to the periodic activation of Bone Eater and the team composition focusing on one attribute. |
![]() Blooming Sunrise 2 parts: increases damage to non-lethal targets by 15%. |
Bone Chewer's periodic damage is considered non-performing, so the set is suitable for enhancing the main source of damage. |
![]() Astral voice 2 Piece: ATK +10% |
If a support on a team lacks this kit, it's a good option for a girl. She often calls in quick support: a pressed B/A, enhanced with E-shot, and a super ability. She's a preferred option for teams with Sid. |
![]() Hormone punk 2 Piece: ATK +10%. |
It's also a good option for ATK. Snake appears on the field frequently, but only briefly, and the set works well with that. |
Recommended Stats
In the table, you can study which parameters you need to look for as “main” in drive disks:
| Position | The main parameter |
| 1 | Health (permanent) |
| 2 | ATK (constant) |
| 3 | Protection (permanent) |
| 4 | Crit. chance - priority; Crete. damage - secondary |
| 5 | Bonus Electro - priority; ATK - secondary |
| 6 | Energy recharge |
How important are additional characteristics:
Energy Recovery > Critical Chance > Critical Damage > ATK (%)
Optimal combat stats when max level and fully equipped:
- energy recharge: up to 3,7 units (140% in total through equipment);
- crit chance: 65-80%;
- CRIT DMG: from 120% and above (an additional passive skill will give +50% to the characteristic);
- ATK: 2 units and higher.
Which banbu is suitable?
Among the Banbu, Electric and Buffer Bunnies are suitable for Cissia: the former will be able to deal more damage under her buffs, while the latter will help with energy accumulation or distribute additional buffs.

Cissia's Squad Guide in Zenless Zone Zero

The main bonus the Tyren Snake grants to allies through Bone Eater is ignoring the defense of Electric-type damage. The bonus also includes effects that are increased if the pack contains characters of its attribute:
- The stun from Bone Eater is increased by 40%/60% if there are 1/2 Electro-equipped agents in the team besides the girl.
- The entire squad's K/U increases by 40% if the party includes an Agent of Intimidation or its attribute. The heroine grants herself a +50% bonus.
Therefore, teams for Cissy are necessarily composed with an electric main DD and closed by a character with support-buffer functions.
Best allies
The Tyren Snake performs best in a squad with the following agents:
| Character | Features |
|
|
A unique character that enhances both herself and her Assault class partner. She and Snake form a mutually beneficial and self-sufficient partnership. |
![]() |
While the snake doesn't buff Aftershocks, Soldier 0's primary damage type, it does increase all DPS dealt through its Electric DPS defense ignorance. |
![]() |
Harumasa deals large amounts of damage to stunned enemies, which synergizes well with the snake's ability to passively fill the stun bar with Bone Chewer. |
![]() |
An excellent "pocket" stunner with decent damage and a useful passive that increases the vulnerability multiplier of enemies. |
![]() |
A stunner with a fast rotation, a powerful stun, and a ton of bonuses for herself and her allies. It can forcefully activate the ultimates of heroes in the group, replacing their attack chains. |
![]() |
Increases the team's critical damage when combined with Snake. A good stunner if you don't have any other options. |
![]() |
A hero who prefers to play the field and gradually inflict stuns. Her distinguishing feature is a high vulnerability multiplier on stunned targets. |
![]() |
The deposit significantly increases the damage of Attack agents and generally increases ATK, strengthening their DPS. |
![]() |
A very flexible support that can help Snake buff her main damage dealer, get onto the field more often with quick assists, and deal more damage with a variety of large buffs. |
![]() |
An ideal and accessible support for mono-electric builds. Her passive prolongs Shock on enemies and increases their shock damage, while also restoring energy to allies with her ultimate. |
![]() |
A free-to-play alternative to the main damage dealer role in a group. Relies on Shock on enemies, which can trigger E-class attacks with critical hits. |
![]() |
A good F2P support: it reduces enemy defense and provides a critical chance bonus at M6, which helps your teammates reach the critical hit point. |
Best team samples
Based on all the passive requirements, the girl should be placed in a secondary position in mono-electric teams:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
Cissia | Sanna | The best team with Cissy. Together with Sanna, they buff Sid: they increase his shock damage, boost his ATK, and provide him with damage/hit and damage/kill. | |
Cissia | Trigger Dialing | A premium unit focused on maximizing Sid's strength. Trigger can increase her vulnerability multiplier outside of a stun, and Dialing grants multiple procs of her ultimate to her damage dealer. | |
Soldier 0 | Cissia | Trigger Orpheus | The Armed Forces teammates work well together, boosting each other's Aftershocks. Cissia, in this team's variations, boosts DPS with her Poison passive and critical hit bonus. |
Harumasa | Cissia | Qingyi Trigger | Harumasa is an agent who's more comfortable rotating when the enemy is stunned. Agents of Intimidation and Cissia's Bone Eater are good for this. |
Anton | Cissia | Rina | A F2P squad can be led by Anton, who activates Shock on enemies. Rina extends the duration of the attribute effect and provides penetration, while Cissia inflicts critical damage on an ally and helps with enemy attrition. |
Cissia | Trigger | Astra Yao | Although Snake feels best in the role of support DD, this squad allows you to try her out in the role of main DD. |
Features
Basic parameters that increase with level:
| Level | Basic HP | Basic ATK | Base DEF |
| 1 | 617 | 135 | 49 |
| 10 | 1370 | 209 | 108 |
| 20 | 2630 | 339 | 207 |
| 30 | 4314 | 519 | 340 |
| 40 | 5576 | 650 | 441 |
| 50 | 6413 | 732 | 507 |
| 60 | 7673 | 863 | 606 |
Pumping up the inclinations increases energy recovery with 1.32 to 1.56 and ATK from 863 to 938 units.
Leveling
To develop the Tyren-snake, the standard materials for Electro Agents are required:
| Leveling | Materials | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Level | ×4 Entry Level Attack Token ×32 Top Level Attack Token ×30 Pioneer Token | ×800 000 |
| Skills | ×25 Basic Shock Chip ×75 Advanced Shock Chip ×250 Specialized Shock Chip ×5 Pass to the Hamster Cage | ×2 495 000 |
| Makings |
| ×405 000 |
How the skills work

In combat, the snake relies on "Poison" charges, which allow allies' electrical damage to bypass their target's defenses. These stacks transform into "Bone Chew" and deal damage over time every 5 seconds. They are acquired through an EX skill, chain attacks, and Super abilities.
- Basic attack: Hits help build up Poison stacks and use them to activate the Bone Eater effect (counts as a non-attack). This increases your own critical chance and is reflected on enemies as a flash of ball lightning. It is the main source of damage.
- Skill: Allows you to build up Poison even faster, spending 20 to 60 energy, and deals significant electrical damage to enemies. Quick Aid activates immediately after use.
- Evasion и help: a standard set of moves for avoiding damage and entering the field.
- Chain of attacks (c/a) also helps to accumulate "Poison", and the ult Activates an etheric curtain, increasing the squad's K/U.
- Main Passive Ability: Grants a bonus to ignoring Electro damage defense if the former criminal's energy recovery is above 1,4 units. The skill also details the operation of "Poison" and "Bone Eater."
- Additional ability: If there are Intimidation or Electro-attribute agents in the squad, the critical damage of Cissy and her allies is increased.
The order of leveling skills
Prowess = Special Attack = Basic Attack >> Chain Attack > Assist = Evasion
The heroine has three main skills, into which resources should be invested in parallel:
- Traits - the snake's usefulness to the squad depends on them.
- Skill - an ability that is used during rare arena appearances.
- Basic attack - contains Bone Eater multipliers.
Leveling up your super ability will also have a positive effect on damage, and assists and evasions are no longer a priority.
The best eidoses
By knocking out duplicates, you can open the mental picture of the snake and activate passive effects.
| M1 | At the start of combat, gains 6 stacks of Poison, increasing the defense ignoring bonus by 140%. Damage dealt by squad members also ignores 5% of enemy lightning resistance, and Bone Eater ignores 10% of the resistance. |
| M2 | Gain 3 Poison when hitting a stunned enemy with a central attack or super ability. Poison attacks deal 35% more damage. |
| M3 | Level of non-attack, evasion, assistance, special attack, c/a - +2 |
| M4 | When launching a strengthened special attack, the target gains 1 stack of Innervation (maximum 3 stacks). During a non-essential attack, Serpent's Kiss consumes all stacks, each stack triggering the additional effect Bone Eater, which doesn't consume Poison but doesn't stun the enemy. |
| M5 | Level of non-attack, evasion, assistance, special attack, c/a - +2 |
| M6 | Each time "Bone Eater" is triggered, it gains one The Bone-Eater's MarkWhen any character in the squad hits an enemy, "Mark" is consumed and a special "Bone Eater" effect is activated without stunning. The effect has a 3-second cooldown. |
The best consts of Cissia are the first one и second:
- The M1 contains a variety of powerful team buffs, making it a worthwhile investment for a snake.
- M2 adds "Poison" and significantly increases the damage of both non-lethal and target-oriented enemies, increasing the heroine's "pocket" DPS.
Other attachments are more useful for personal damage: M3 and M5 provide additional skill levels, while M4 and M6 trigger special variations of Bone Eater.
Knockout priority: M1 > signal > M2Since the budget "Bur-Red Axis" suits the girl well, the first constant with various enhancements will be more useful.
How to play as Cissia

In ZZZ, it's crucial for Cissia to maintain sufficient Poison and replenish it promptly. All other effects are activated automatically through a simple rotation:
- At the start of the battle, the girl gains 3 stacks of "Poison." Perform a short special attack, spending 20 energy, and then attack with a basic attack. Then activate Quick Assist on the next agent.
- Keep an eye on your energy buildup and remaining charges—as soon as you reach 1 charge, summon your heroine and spend all your energy. This will give her up to 5 more stacks.
- If energy is generated faster than stacks are spent, then periodically press "E" to instantly activate "Bone Eater".
- Don't forget to monitor your decibels and try to activate your ult after your enemy is stunned.
Is it worth knocking out Cissia?

Cissia is a strong sub-DPS who can deal damage over time from the pocket. She also serves as a support/buffer, increasing allies' critical damage, granting a bonus that pierces the defenses of lightning DPS, and even deploying an Ethereal Veil. She has a simple rotation, an easy build, and affordable gear, including an excellent budget-friendly booster.
A major drawback is the lack of flexibility when composing a team—she's not just dependent on having Electro allies; she requires a partner with her primary damage dealer. Therefore, she should be picked by those who need to strengthen their mono-Electric team or plan to target Electro damage dealers in the future. Other heroes won't benefit from her bonuses.

I like how the website writes about 4* weapons for Cissia: "They can be installed "for the first time," although I understand that the star engine will stay with my Cissia forever.
So, I'm playing Sid/Cissia/Rina, although I could have gone with Sanna. Unfortunately, due to a long break, I don't have any other multi-purpose supports, like Astra and Yuzuha, so Sanna was given to Miyabi. And then there's Ye Shunguang, who could also use Sanna... In short, it's tough without supports.
I wonder if the squad consisting of Cissy, Grace, and Rina, as well as Banbu Shtekerbu, is normal or not? (Cissy as a DD)
It's better to use Anton instead of Grace. Grace is an Anomaly Agent, and Cissy has no synergy with that class. Ultimately, Anton, Cissy, and Rina make a decent budget squad.
I have Cissy and Seed, but no Trigger, Orphie, Astra, or Sanna. Dialin is recruited in the main squad. What should I put? :3
Nicole becomes the only option.
I just recently started playing, I finally got it, but I don’t know who to put it with.
Please tell me if you can.
The author has already listed all the possible team combinations here. If you don't even have Anton or Rina, you'll have to wait for the new Electro DDs in 3.0; there's no other way.
