In Genshin Impact, the 'Celestial Gift' artifact set is best suited for supports who belong to the Hexerei faction. It requires the use of an elemental skill to increase the damage of allies of the wearer's element and also provides energy regeneration.
For the effect to work, you need to do the following: complete Witch's Homework, as the set can't be given to regular characters without the Hexerei talent. This significantly narrows the list of potential wearers, so in this guide, we'll explain who can wear it and provide alternative combinations of the two pieces with other sets.
Where to find the 'Celestial Gift' artifact set in Genshin Impact
The set can be obtained in the Thorny Crown of the Mountain Wind dungeon located on Windrest Peak in Mondstadt. If the dungeon doesn't drop pieces with the desired stats, there are alternative ways to obtain it:
- Use the artifact converter to craft the desired item by spending Sanctifying Elixirs.
- Complete Stygian Onslaught on Hard difficulty or higher, then spend the Resin in the Ley Line Outcrop. This method works for ten days after the mode's update.
- Open the reliquary on floors 9-12 of the Spiral Abyss.
How the set works
'Celestial Gift' increases elemental damage (Anemo, Pyro, etc.) for allies after the wearer uses their elemental skill, provided they are of the same element. This set only works on Hexenzirkel characters, as the passive is achieved through Witch's Lessons.
An additional buff is granted if the Secret Rite resonance is reached, meaning the party has at least two companions of this faction. Typically, this is a support character equipped with the set and a primary or secondary damage dealer.
Set Bonuses
| 2 parts | Increases Energy Recharge rate by 20%. |
| 4 parts |
If the equipped character has completed Witch's Lessons, they are granted the Light's Guidance effect for 20 seconds after using an elemental skill: all nearby party members receive a 20% elemental damage bonus based on the equipped character's elemental type. This effect occurs even when the equipped character is not on the battlefield. Bonuses from artifact sets with the same name do not stack. When the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect is active in your party, Light's Guidance is upgraded to Mortal Hymn: all nearby party members receive a 40% elemental damage bonus based on the element of your equipped character and your active character. Damage bonuses from the same element do not stack. |
Features
Aside from the flower and feather, which have fixed primary stats, all other items in the set have random stats. You can see all possible variations in the table:
| slot | Artifact | Available specifications |
|---|---|---|
| Flower of Life | Heavensent Fragrance | HP |
| Plume of Death | Heavensent Demise | ATK |
| Sands of Eon | Heavensent Decree |
|
| Goblet of Eonothem | Heavensent Reward |
|
| Circlet of Logos | Heavensent Crown |
|
Who is 'Celestial Gift' suitable for?
This set synergizes well with Hexerei faction heroes, who act as support in the team and use an elemental skill every 20 seconds. The size and type of the bonus depends on the group composition:
- Buffs one element by 20% if the owner of the artifacts is the only Hexerzinkel character.
- Buffs two elements by 40% (both the set wearer and the active hero, e.g. Pyro and Anemo for Varka and Nicole's team) when Secret Rite is active.
Since the set does not increase personal damage, it is not suitable for increasing the damage of sub-DD.

The Witch's signature set, as her skillset combines the use of E and Elemental Burst, which will have a faster cooldown thanks to ER. If she wears this set in a team without Secret Rite, the main damage dealer should have Pyro. |

The set loses out somewhat in terms of versatility to Noblesse Oblige и Tenacity of the Millelith, but it can be useful if the first set wielder is already in the party, and the buff from the second set is inconvenient or the main damage dealer doesn't need ATK. A good choice in groups with a Hydro main damage dealer, Archon Furina or spy Yelan. |

This might be useful if she plays in Anemo teams - e.g., with Venti, former Harbinger Wanderer and other damage dealers who need increased Anemo damage. In groups with Master Varka , it would be better for her to choose a different set, for example, Viridescent Venerer, to reduce enemy resistances, especially if you're playing with dragon Durin. |

For the Archon, this set is one of the best for support with Anemo damage dealers, or if the team doesn't need a Viridescent Venerer wielder but needs someone to use this set. For main damage dealers, a different set is better. |

In most cases A Day Carved From Rising Winds would be better, but if the group has Secret Rite and strong heroes of the same elements, and there's no alternative set wearer, it can be used to buff allies. These are typically Overloaded groups without Nicole, or mono-teams with a Hexerei Anemo support equipped with Viridescent Venerer. |
If, while farming, you get pieces with stats that don't suit the listed characters, you can give them to any heroes who need a lot of energy regeneration.
What artifacts to combine the set with
Combinations with pieces from other sets are only suitable as temporary options, used until a full set is obtained. This is necessary, for example, to get more useful stats that will provide more than the primary effect of the entire set. Two pieces from 'Celestial Gift' are useful for heroes who strive to ult as often as possible.
If you want to combine it with other sets, you can use the following options:
- ER + ER: Emblem of Severed Fate, Silken Moon's Serenade.
- ER + ATK: Gladiator’s Finale, Shimenawa's Reminiscence, Vermillion Hereafter, Echoes of an Offering, Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy, Unfinished Reverie, Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods, A Day Carved From Rising Winds, Disenchantment in Deep Shadow.
- ER + HP: Vourukasha’s Glow, Tenacity of the Millelith.
- ER + Elemental mastery: Wanderer's Troupe, Gilded Dreams, Flower of Paradise Lost, Moonlit Offering’s Opulent Dream.
- ER + Healing Bonus: Maiden Beloved, Ocean-Hued Clam, Song of Days Past.

Why isn't the Durov feature listed in the carriers? According to calculations, the team's DPS increases by 8-10% if the Durov is replaced. A Day Carved From Rising Winds on this one.
Most likely, the guide simply assumed that one set per element is enough—the bonuses don't stack. And if your squad already has Nicole as a fire bearer with "Gift of Heaven", then Durin no longer needs this set: the buff will still be there.
P.S. It would be great if you could provide more information: on which specific team does your "Durov" show this 8-10% increase? We don't know the others. day laborers, nor the elemental composition. You could just as easily say about any witch character that this artifact will increase the team's damage... and not even mention the fact that the team was mono-elemental. 😉 So share your calculations—it's interesting!
PPS I'm more interested in comparisons for Sucrose/Prunes with Viridescent Venerer.
I've seen calculations in overloads, with a cow, an arli, and a kli, and with a stroller for a navia, in various variations.
Comparisons for Sucrose/Prunes with Viridescent VenererThe shadow will be better.
Fischl looks good in overload with this set (for example, a squad of Raiden, Fischl, Durin, Chevreuse (with Rising Winds on Durin), or similar overload squads. It's hard to think of a better option for Durin, as if Rising Winds Day would be better for him.
