To level up "Beyond the Cocoon" you will need resources from Snowy:
- Ascension/Rally/Battlecry/Triumph of the Pale Star Army drops in the dungeon Scars of Obsession в Monday, Thursday и Sunday.

- A hollow root/node sprout/coiled life core has a chance to drop from Leshen wastelands. They can be found in snow-free zones. Permafrost and Valley of Fire Feathers.
- Chimera Cores/Symbiotic Cores/Chimera Cores are available after defeating mutated chimeras of various types. They are most common in the Permafrost.
Who is Beyond the Cocoon in Genshin Impact suitable for?
Although the weapon is quite versatile, offering fairly good buffs just for using its skill and ultimate, not all characters will be able to fully utilize it. A potential wielder must be able to press E frequently, have a reasonable Elemental Burst cost, and be able to last long on the battlefield, as the buffs disappear as soon as they leave.
Only its signature owner, Vesna, can fully realize the weapon:
| Character | Features |
| She's the only hero who needs the Star Diffusion buff, as she uses that reaction to hit. Furthermore, the sword will give her a lot of ATK—she needs at least 2000 ATK. Her gameplay relies on constantly pressing the skill, so the passive will work without any time limits. |
Among other carriers, Clorinda stands out with some nuances:
| Character | Features |
Clorinde |
Like Vesna, the Duelist rotation favors using her skill frequently and resetting her ultimate on cooldown. She will effectively be able to activate all three buffs, but will only benefit from two of them (Crit and VE), as she has no connection to Star Scattering. |
The sword can also be given to any one-handed weapon wielders who act as primary damage dealers. They will benefit from high base ATK and sufficient K/U, but the energy regeneration effect will be less consistent on them than on the two previously mentioned heroines. Consider the weapon a good temporary option for stat balancing:
How to use this weapon
The weapon's ability activates after each use of the wielder's skill or superpower, and the effects occur sequentially for ten seconds. If the hero leaves the battlefield, the effects disappear, and the activation order resets. Effects can be active simultaneously, but will appear in the following order:
K/U (10 sec.) > Star Dispersion (10 sec.) > VE (every 4 sec.) > continue from the beginning.
Equipment rotation:
- Activate the abilities of your supports and sub-DDs to receive buffs from your allies and apply elemental statuses to your enemies for subsequent reactions.
- Switch to the damage dealer and perform their main rotation, starting the fight with a skill press.
- Use his E-sharps and Elemental Burst on cooldown to get the remaining effects from the sword's passive.
- Once the rotation is complete, repeat from point one.
