Zhongli in Genshin Impact: Best Build and Squad Guide

В Genshin Impact Geo Archon Zhongli is a playable character, a legendary Geo elemental support who wields a polearm. His shield scales with his maximum health and reduces enemy resistances, while his E-Pillar remains on the field and periodically attacks enemies, allowing him to activate buffs from certain sets.

Based on this, Zhongli has two builds - a support build and a sub-dd build.

Recommended Stats

Despite the difference between Zhongli's builds, in each of them you need to gain a certain amount of HP, since skill and shield damage scales with it. Let's take a closer look at each Geo Archon build.

Support build

This Zhongli build provides the strongest and most impenetrable Archon's shield. Damage in this case almost does not matter, and all artifacts should be chosen exclusively for HP. In additional characteristics, also look for health.

Recommended values:

HP: approximately 30.000-40.000 or more. The strength of the shield depends on the amount of HP - the less often you dodge enemy attacks, the more health Zhongli needs.

Energy recharge: around 140-160% if Zhongli is the only Geo hero on the team and uses his ultimate. If you do not activate Zhongli's elemental burst, energy recovery is not needed.

Sub-dd build

The Zhongli sub-DD build suggests that, in addition to support, this character also deals damage with his ult. In this case, he also needs HP, but the goblet needs to be taken for Geo damage, and the circlet for crits. The clock can be selected for both HP (for a stronger shield) and attack power (for more damage). How to play Zhongli

Zhongli is played by holding his elemental skill to create shields, as well as activating an ult. His Elemental Burst inflicts Petrification on enemies, allowing them to be attacked unhindered while they are not moving. Zhongli's shield only lowers the resistance of enemies in a small radius, so you need to be in close range of the enemy to get this buff.
