Xingqiu in Genshin Impact: Best Build and Squad Guide

Guhua School Swordsman's Guide: Suitable Weapons, Artifacts, and Groups.

Xingqiu presses his hand to his chest

В Genshin Impact The second son of the merchant guild leader, Xingqiu, is rightfully considered one of the best epic sub-DDs in the game. He fully provides the group with Hydro status with his ultimate and deals damage independently, while also providing some support to the active character, increasing their survivability.

However, building a Guhua School follower isn't exactly simple, as it requires a careful balance of energy regeneration and other stats to achieve both stable activation of the superpower and decent skill damage. The young man also has trouble fighting Cryo enemies, as Rain Swords permanently inflict the Wet status.

How to Get the Character

The Swordsman can be obtained with an increased drop rate from some event banners or with a standard drop rate from Constant Prayer. WanderlustConstellations are unlocked by acquiring copies of the character. The next prayer has an increased chance of being successful. 22 October to 11 November 2025, in the first part the 6.1 update.

Keep an eye on reruns and new character releases in our banner schedule.

Paimon's Bargains

The hero also appears in Paimon's store in March and September. You can purchase the character himself or his constellation for 34 starglitter.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Since Xingqiu is designed exclusively for the secondary damage dealer role, this opens up a wide range of gameplay options for him in various squads. However, despite his considerable utility, he has some drawbacks that require more time to develop a quality build.

Strengths Weaknesses
It takes up virtually no time for a main damage dealer. His ability animations are so short that he can be removed from the field immediately. Expensive ult and long cooldown of the elemental skill make it difficult to build into damage. It is necessary to gain restoration with artifacts and weapons so that the ultimate is charged before its cooldown ends.
A universal support that is valued in many packs. Able to quickly cast Hydro, which is useful in teams that play from elemental reactions. For a Hydro-dd, can be a good battery. The Rain Swords' flight speed depends entirely on the active character's normal attack speed. Therefore, the more often the primary damage dealer deals damage, the more useful Xingqiu is.
The ult reduces incoming damage, increases resistance to interruption, and restores health. Using an elemental skill inflicts the Wet status on the young man, which poses a risk of being frozen.
Elemental skill buffs and elemental burst have a high duration. A huge plus for damage dealers who cannot leave the field so as not to reset the infusion, for example, Hu Tao's E or Raiden's ultimate.
It doesn't require a lot of energy to deal satisfying damage. While C6 unlocks its full potential, it's only useful starting from C0.
Simple gameplay. To play him, you don't need to learn a special rotation.

Best builds for Xingqiu in Genshin Impact

He performs best as a sub-DD, synergizing with the main damage dealer and complementing his melee attacks with Rain Swords. His skills scale with ATK, so it's best to prioritize this stat in items. However, due to the high cost of his ultimate, a Xingqiu build should definitely include energy regeneration in substats.

Recommended Stats

The classic damage build of Xingqiu requires maintaining balance for CRIT DMG и CRIT Rate, high attack. In the case of Xingqiu, an equally priority characteristic will be energy recharge. Considering that the hero can independently trigger reactions, you don’t have to ignore elemental mastery in sub-stats. But this does not apply to HP%: although the healing passive of an elemental skill depends on the health value, it is not worth gaining this stat to the maximum.

Elemental Mastery

Optimal characteristics for a comfortable game:

  • ATK: at least 1500.
  • Energy recharge: 190-230%. If there is a second Hydro in the squad or when using the Sacrificial Sword , a lower value is acceptable. If C6 is unlocked and you have this weapon at the 5th awakening, you can stop at 170%.
  • CRIT Rate/DMG: It is important to maintain a 1:2 ratio, for example, 120% crit. damage for about 60% chance.
  • Elemental Mastery: Up to 140 HP without affecting other stats if the hero is playing in teams with a reaction-based Pair. Setting the clock on MS is strongly discouraged, as he only covers reactions with E, albeit an extremely powerful one.

Weapon Selection

A weapon should either increase DPS or address the cost of its ultimate, so additional stats should include energy regeneration, critical damage, or ATK.

NameDescriptionRecommendation
Sacrificial Sword
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Base stat:
41 - 454
Energy recharge:
13.3%-61.3%
When an elemental skill deals damage, there is 40 % chance of resetting its cooldown. May occur once per 30 sec.The first of two swords with the highest energy recovery value among one-handed blades. Combining a characteristic and a passive effect that instantly cools down an elemental skill, the sword fully satisfies the character's needs and becomes an ideal weapon. In teams without a second Hydro, this sword is better than the Legendaries, as it solves energy problems.
Athame Artis
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Base stat:
46 - 608
CRIT Rate:
7,2% - 33,1%
Critical damage of elemental burst is increased by 16/20/24/28/32%When an elemental blast hits an enemy, the wearer gains the "Blade of White Day" effect, which increases attack by 20/25/30/35/40%Additionally, nearby allies gain an attack power boost of 16/20/24/28/32%. The effect lasts for 3 sec.
If the squad has the "Witchcraft: Arcane Rite" buff, the "Blade of White Day" buff is increased by an additional 75 %. Works even when the wearer is not on the battlefield.
Integrates K/U into the swordsman's main ability while also providing the active character with an ATK bonus. Most main DPS players the hero plays with scale off this stat, making it doubly beneficial. To fully utilize this stat, add any two of the following companions to your party: Klee, Mona, Sucrose, or Venti.
Mistsplitter Reforged
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Base stat:
48 - 674
CRIT DMG:
9.6%-44.1%
All types of elemental damage are dealt 12 % damage bonus, as well as the power of the Mistsplitter's Emblem. At levels 1, 2 or 3 the character receives 8%, 16% or 28% bonus to the elemental damage of their element, respectively. The character gains 1 level of Mistbreaker Emblem in each of the following cases:
  • When dealing elemental damage with normal attacks, the emblem lasts for 5 seconds;
  • when using an elemental burst, the emblem lasts 10 seconds;
  • When a character's elemental energy is below 100%, the emblem obtained in this way remains active until the character has restored all of his elemental energy.

The duration of each level of the emblem is calculated individually.

The blade has a high base damage, decent critical hits, and an elemental damage bonus, making it an excellent option for maximizing damage. However, it's important to note that the sword doesn't charge the ultimate, so it's only recommended for squads with a second Hydro. Furthermore, the young man won't be able to reach all three levels due to the lack of infusion on off-hand attacks.
Primordial Jade Cutter
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Base stat:
44 - 542
CRIT Rate:
9.6%-44.1%
Increases HP by 20 %. Also gives an ATK bonus equal to 1,2 % of max HP of the character equipped with this weapon. Thanks to the additional characteristics, choosing suitable artifacts and balancing stats will become much easier. As with the Mist, the lack of energy recovery requires a second Hydro, but this is also effectively played through the sword: the sword's passive works from maximum health, and the resonance of the double Hydro increases the health of the entire squad.
Wolf-Fang (BP)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Base stat:
42 ~ 510
Crit Rate:
6 ~ 27,6%
Increases damage of elemental skill and elemental burst by 16 %. When an elemental skill or elemental burst hits an enemy, their crit chance increases by 2%. The effects operate independently of each other. Each effect lasts 10 sec., stacks up to 4 times and may occur once per 0,1 sec. Will boost your elemental skill and ultimate. A good option for teams with Raiden or if you have a second Hydro hero but don't have any Legendaries. The Critical Chance in the substat will make it easier to choose stats for your artifacts, but keep in mind that the second part of the passive doesn't work from your inventory, so the hero won't be able to gain the additional Critical Chance.
Favonius Sword
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Base stat:
41 - 454
Energy recharge:
13,3-61,3%
Critical attacks have a 60-100% Chance to create elemental particles that restore 6 health. energy. Happens every 12 seconds. The second sword with the highest energy recovery after Ceremonial. It generates additional elemental particles after critical strikes, making it useful not only for the character but also for the rest of the team. With a sufficient critical chance, the particles are generated immediately after the E-sword, but to fully charge the Elemental Burst, you'll still need to use the skill twice. Considering the passive's cooldown isn't very long, you can always switch to the swordsman and generate additional particles.
Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (F2P)

Base stat:
42 - 510
Energy recharge:
10-45,9%
Increases crit chance for elemental skills by 8-16%. In addition, after using an elemental skill, energy recharge is increased by 16-32% for 5 sec.A sword for fishing in Fontaine. An excellent option, with bonuses to energy regeneration in both the substat and passive. The young man plays for his ultimate, so critical chance should be prioritized for it. In this case, although the passive allows damage from an elemental skill to have a higher chance of becoming a critical hit, this doesn't eliminate the need to look for this stat in artifacts.
Festering Desire (F2P)

Base stat:
42 - 510
Energy recharge
10%-45,9%
Increases elemental skill damage by 16-32%, and its crit rate by 6-12%.An event blade with a decent energy recovery rate is useful for both ultimate and elemental skills. The passive effect buffs the ability, which makes an already strong skill hit even more painfully. Fully plays when the reaction is triggered with the E.
Skyward Blade
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Base stat:
46 - 608
Energy recharge:
12.0%-55.1%
Increases crit chance by 4%. An elemental burst awakens the power of the heavens, increasing movement and attack speed for 10 %, and normal and charged attacks deal additional damage equal to 20 % of attack power. All effects last 12 seconds.A legendary blade with high energy regeneration is definitely useful, but it will perform significantly worse than four-star alternatives. The second part of the hero's passive is of little value due to its mechanics, but for the high base damage and additional critical hit chance, it's worth equipping.
Harbinger of Dawn (F2P)
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Base stat:
39 - 401
CRIT DMG:
10.2%-46.9%
Increases crit chance by 14 % at HP level above 90%.Great option for pocket-DPS. Although the base of the sword is small, the crit is high. chance and a passive that works at HP above 90% will eliminate the need to search for suitable artifacts with this stat.
Amenoma Kageuchi (F2P)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Base stat:
41 - 454
ATK:
12.0%-55.1%
After using an elemental skill, gain 1 Succession Seed. The effect can occur 1 time every 5 sec. The Succession Seed lasts for 30 seconds. Up to 3 Succession Seeds can exist at the same time. After using an elemental burst, all Succession Seeds are consumed, and after 2 seconds, the character restores 6 elemental energy per seed consumed.A sword that increases attack will perform well in terms of damage, but to play with a passive you will have to play the hero rotation in the reverse order: E -> Q. You should also take into account that the cooldown of an elemental skill will only allow you to gain two Seeds before the next ultimate.
Sapwood Blade (F2P)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Base stat:
44 - 565
Energy recharge:
6.7%-30.6%
Activating Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon creates a Leaf of Consciousness next to the character, which lasts for 10 seconds. The elemental mastery of the character who picks it up increases by 60 for 12 sec. A leaf can appear once every 20 sec. This effect works even if the equipped character is not on the battlefield. The effect of the Leaf of Consciousness does not stack. If there are no alternatives, the blade can be equipped in Dendro teams. The sword will perform especially well if the driver depends on the elemental mastery or actively triggers reactions.

Artifact Rating

Artifacts for Xingqiu are selected based on the weapon, but sets should always emphasize damage and HE. Sets that buff or charge the ultimate, as well as those with a Hydro damage bonus, are suitable for the character.

NameEffectsRecommendation
Emblem of Severed Fate

2 Piece:
Increases Energy Recharge rate by 20%.
4 Piece:
Increases elemental burst damage by an amount equal to 25% of your Energy Regeneration value. The effect can be increased to a maximum of 75%.
The most powerful build, combining recharge and ultimate buff depending on the energy recovery value. When using this set with energy weapons, it is better to take the attack power clock to balance the stats.
You can also use two parts.
Noblesse Oblige

2 Piece:
Increases elemental burst damage by 20%.
4 Piece:
Activating an elemental burst increases the attack power of all party members by 20% for 12 seconds.
Only two pieces of Nobility are recommended, but if you have good stats on your artifacts, you can go with a full set. In this case, Nobility will buff the ATK of all characters in your party, but only for a short time. Given the long cooldown and recharging issues, the set may not be as useful as it seems at first glance.
Gladiator’s Finale
Vermillion Hereafter
Echoes of an OfferingEchoes of an Offering
2 parts: Increases attack power by 18%.
2 parts: Increases attack power by 18%.
A two-set ATK combo. Can be equipped with good stats, especially high energy regeneration in substats. It's slightly inferior to a full Emblem set, but still a strong alternative.

Nymph's DreamHeart of Depth

Noblesse Oblige
2 Piece:
15% bonus to Hydro damage.
2 Piece:
Increases elemental burst damage by 20%.
The 2 + 2 build in combination with a four-star sword is an affordable alternative, but requires good selection of stats, since this hodgepodge does not provide either attack power or energy recovery.
The Exile

2 Piece:
Increases Energy Recharge rate by 20%.
4 Piece:
Using an elemental burst restores 2 energy to the rest of the squad (not the selected character) every 2 sec. within 6 sec. The effect cannot stack.
The best option at the early ranks, it will help both the hero with energy and make it easier for allies to activate their superpowers.

Teams

A versatile sub-DD requires a guide who can complement his hand with Rain Swords. The young man synergizes with many characters: the hero has the Hydro element, which reacts with all other elements. He's equally useful for a Hydro damage dealer, especially with his second constellation, which reduces enemies' resistance to that element. Considering all these factors, choosing teams for Xingqiu won't be difficult.

Recommended characters

Let's look at characters who can realize the potential inherent in the hero.

Damage dealers

Characters that are the main sources of damage in squads:

CharacterElementWeaponRecommendation
MavuikaPyroClaymoreBy adding normal attacks to Mavuiki's rotation, she will be able to trigger the knives from her ultimate, which will open up the possibility of playing through Steam.
Hu TaoPyroPolearmOne of the most powerful companions due to the Steam reaction. The heroine plays around charged attacks with Pyro Infusion, which creates a window in her rotation between the start of the attack animation and the actual attack. The Swordsman fills this window with his ultimate, inflicting Hydro status, so the damage dealer closes the reaction each time instead of dealing raw Pyro damage.
YoimiyaPyroBowAs with Hu Tao, the gameplay is built around the pair's reactions. The archer has high attack speed, which affects the flight speed of the Rain Swords, so this combination will deal high total damage. The increased interrupt resistance gained through the young man's elemental skill will also be a huge bonus.
XianglingPyroPolearmAlthough Xiangling is a sub-DD, the characters work well together, complementing each other. Through ultimates, both Hydro and Pyro status can be easily applied, which is why the damage will always be multiplied under Vaporize.
Pyro MCPyroOne-handed swordBoth characters are sub-DDs that can interact with each other in a squad. In addition, he will become a good damage dealer at C6.
YanfeiYanfeiPyroCatalyst:The hero pairs perfectly with Yanfei, pre-applying Hydro for attacks under Steam's reaction. The damage dealer has high attack speed, making the two characters a perfect match.
KleePyroCatalyst:As with Yanfei, the second Pyro Catalyst will welcome an applicator for her bombs.
RaidenElectroPolearmThe heroine's mechanics require expensive ultimates from sub-dps and supports, and in return generates energy for the entire team.
CynoElectroPolearmCyno often uses normal attacks in battle, making him an excellent guide.
ClorindeElectroOne-handed swordSwordsman's damage from his pocket will not only provide better overall damage but also help Clorinda's passive ability, which relies on elemental reactions, work. The underheal from her ultimate will also slightly increase her Life Debt.
Yae MikoYae MikoElectroCatalyst:In teams where Yae acts as a driver, additional basic attacks damage will not hurt. Especially if these are teams with Hyperbloom.
TartagliaHydroBowThanks to its high speed in close combat, it makes a good conductor. Characters of the same element will generate energy for each other, and at C2, their combined damage will increase, reducing monsters' hydro resistance.
WandererAnemoCatalyst:Scaramuccia primarily deals damage with his right-handed attacks and can also increase his attack speed through his build, making him a near-perfect conduit. While in flight, the damage dealer becomes vulnerable, which is aided by the young man's elemental skill.
WriothesleyCryoCatalyst:He actively uses normal and charged attacks, and as a Cryo Catalyst, he permanently Freezes enemies. His Elemental Skill also provides additional damage-dealing resistance to interrupts and additional healing.
AlhaithamDendroOne-handed swordIn such a situation, not only Rain Swords will become an additional source of damage. Dendro infusion will generate Blooms that can be detonated through an ally's Electro.
LohenCryoPolearmIn combat, he uses a special skill and standing attacks. He plays as a main damage dealer and driver for pocket characters. With a good build, he can exceed the Knight's damage output, thereby earning him special buff points.

Supports

Support characters that provide teams with buffs, shields, and healing:

CharacterElementWeaponEffects
KazuhaAnemoOne-handed swordDispel applies the Hydro status to all enemies and provides a bonus to that damage type. This is especially useful in teams that also have a second Hydro damage dealer.
VentiAnemoBowWhen paired with a main damage dealer, Archer or Catalyst, it brings maximum benefit. The Bard's Ultimate pulls enemies into a single area, allowing Rain Swords to hit not just one, but all of the pulled targets.
Lan YanAnemoCatalyst:Creates a shield and pulls enemies in. Can change the shield element to suit different enemies.
CitlaliCryoCatalyst:The reduction in Hydro Resistances during Freeze allows Sitlali to play profitably in the same squads.
DionaDionaCryoBowActivating the shield applies Cryo to enemies, allowing the team to freeze them. The ultimate ability both heals and grants additional Elemental Mastery points.
LaylaCryoOne-handed swordWill provide the team with a strong shield and Cryo status on enemies for the duration of the shield and with each ultimate. Another advantage of the heroine is that the cooldown and duration of the skill are the same.
QiqiQiqiCryoOne-handed swordQiqi is a stable Cryo applicator and a solid healer. This combo is ideal for freezing enemies.
CharlotteCryoCatalyst:Casts Cryo on a group of enemies and applies periodic status. Heals the team with her elemental burst.
KukiElectroOne-handed swordExcellent healing and keeps Electro status on nearby enemies.
ZhongliGeoPolearmThe owner of the strongest shield in the game will be useful in any team. The Jade Shield also has an important feature - it reduces the resistance to all elements of surrounding enemies.
NicolePyroCatalyst:A great addition to any team, protecting it and increasing the attack power of all allies. Additionally, her ultimate attacks the active character's element, aiding in reactions.
ThomaThomaPyroPolearmHas similar mechanics: his basic attacks from the pocket are triggered with the active character's basic attacks. The heroes can make an excellent squad for Anemo or Dendro damage dealer.
CandaceHydroPolearmElemental Burst grants the active character, Hydro, an infusion, allowing the hero to take on the role of primary damage dealer. This can be useful in teams where the damage dealer uses melee attacks but doesn't possess any elemental abilities, such as Xiangling. The characters also act as batteries for each other.
KokomiHydroCatalyst:Source of powerful hill and hydro resonance. High attack speed and resistance to interruption allows you to become a driver during her elemental burst.
KiraraDendroOne-handed swordNot only generates a shield, but also casts Dendro on nearby enemies.
BaizhuDendroCatalyst:Will provide the team with shield, heal and Dendro status on enemies. The shield passive enhances reactions with Dendro, which can be useful in some squads.
XilonenGeoOne-handed swordOne of the best supports in the game, who provides the squad with healing and debuffs enemies.
LaumaDendroCatalyst:With C1, the Priestess can play without a healer in the group, as the small amount of healing from both of them is enough to stay alive if played carefully.

Examples of strong teams

His squads are versatile, making him ideal for any team where the main damage dealer relies on normal attacks. The hero is undemanding in terms of rotation and elements, making him a versatile pocket damage dealer and popular both at the lower ranks and on the 12th floor. the Abyss.

The national team is famous for its dynamic rotation, where elemental skills and elemental bursts have a small cooldown, which is why they are used as they recharge. Skills

Xingqiu is a strong pocket DD due to his elemental burst, which complements regular attacks with Rain SwordsThe ultimate doesn't reset when switching to another squad member, making it invaluable in teams that rely on elemental reactions or with a primary damage dealer who actively uses right-click attacks.

Basic (Active) Skills

We will indicate the full duration of the abilities, their cooldown time and energy costs for the ult.

Guhua style

  • Source of damage: ATK.

Inflicts up to 5 quick sword slashes with simple attacks.

When charged, performs 2 quick swings, spending a certain amount of stamina. The plunging attack has no elemental charge. Deals physical damage in a small area.

Guhua: Rain Veil

  • Source of damage: ATK.
  • Duration: 15 seconds
  • Cooldown: 21 seconds

Performs two quick sword swings, dealing Hydro damage to enemies. This skill creates Rain Swords around the character, which have the following properties:

  • reduce the damage taken by the character, but each attack received destroys one sword;
  • increase resistance to interrupt attacks;
  • Block a portion of incoming damage equal to 20% of the hero's Hydro damage bonus.

The maximum amount of damage absorbed is 24%. Initially, no more than 3 Rain Swords are created. Activating this skill places the Wet status on the character.

Using an elemental skill restores 4 energy, which is very important for activating elemental burst, which requires a large amount of energy.

Guhua: Rainbow Stance

  • Source of damage: ATK.
  • Duration: 15 seconds
  • Cooldown: 20 seconds
  • Enegry consumption: 80.

Activates Rainbow Stance. While active, the maximum number of Rain Swords will always be around the active character:

  • The hero's normal attacks are supplemented by attacks from the Rain Swords, which inflict Hydro damage;
  • the number of Rain Swords remains constant for the duration of the skill.

Blade procs have a small cooldown. Their initial number amount is 3, or 5, when the sixth constellation is unlocked.

Passive Skills

Talents unlocked as you level up:

TalentWhen does it openEffect
Flash of GeniusBaseWhen crafting Character Talent Materials, Xingqiu has a 25% chance to recover some of the used materials.
Hydropathic 2nd Ascension PhaseWhen the Rain Swords are destroyed or expired, the active character restores HP equal to 6% of Xingqiu's maximum HP (for each blade).
Blades Amidst Raindrops4nd Ascension PhaseIncreases Xingqiu's Hydro damage bonus by 20%.

Leveling Order

Elemental Burst (Q) > Elemental Skill (E) > Normal Attack.

Upgrading priority:

  • The young man relies primarily on his own ultimate, so it is recommended to invest resources in it first.
  • After the explosion of the elements, it is worth pumping up and E: In addition to its defensive properties, it has high damage multipliers and is used to collect elemental particles.
  • Normal attack pocket dd is not that important, so it is leveled optionally.

Constellations

numberNameEffects
1The Scent RemainedIncreases the maximum number of Rain Swords by 1.
2Rainbow Upon the Azure SkyIncreases the duration of Guhua Sword: Raincutter (Elemental Burst) by 3 seconds. Reduces the Hydro Resistance of enemies hit by Rain Swords by 15% for 4 sec.
3Weaver of VersesIncreases the level of Guhua Sword: Raincutter (Elemental Burst) by 3.
Max. Lvl: 15
4EvilsootherIncreases the damage of Guhua Sword: Raincutter (Elemental Skill) by 50% while Guhua Sword: Fatal Rainscreen (Elemental Burst) is active.
5Embrace of RainIncreases the level of Guhua Sword: Fatal Rainscreen (elemental skill) by 3.
Max. Lvl: 15
6Hence, Call Them My Own VersesEvery 2 attacks of Guhua Sword: Raincutter increases the damage of the next attack of the Rain Swords. When this attack hits, Xingqiu restores 3 energy.

The best constellations of Xingqiu are С2, С4 и С6:

  • The second constellation Increases the duration of the Elemental Explosion, significantly reducing the delay between the skill's end and its cooldown: from 5 to 2 seconds. Rain Swords, in turn, reduce monsters' Hydro resistance, allowing this type of damage to be dealt more effectively. This is beneficial both for the hero and for teams with multiple Hydro damage dealers.
  • The fourth constellation: Playing this character is not complete without an elemental skill, so the additional multiplier in the constellation increases the overall damage of the rotation, especially if the hero covers the reaction of Par with E.
  • The sixth constellationbuffs the Rain Swords and increases all outgoing damage. It also restores energy with each hit, which with the right build will help charge the ult before it cools down.

How to play Xingqiu

A follower of the Guhua School, Xingqiu is a sub-DPS who requires a suitable guide. Xingqiu's abilities are designed to support the main DPS on the field by dealing additional damage from his ultimate. He excels in teams that rely on elemental reactions, paired with a Hydro main DPS, and is ideal for a squad where the main DPS needs to boost their attacks or inflict Hydro status on enemies.

The problem with the character is the high cost of the ult, so the build should always focus on energy recovery, and the rotation should be done in a strictly defined way. His elemental burst must be charged while on the field in order to begin the next rotation on cooldown.

Rotation

Regardless of position, rotation is performed as follows:

  1. Use the abilities of other heroes, provided they have a longer cooldown or last longer, for example, Jade Shield of Zhongli.
  2. Activate the Elemental burst.
  3. Use the elemental skill. When playing with the Favonius sword , make sure the particles are generated. If Xingqiu is equipped with the Sacrificial Sword, use the skill twice, so that the passive ability comes off cooldown along with the skill.
  4. Use the abilities of other sub-dps and buffers, for example, Swirl Hydro status with Kazuha.
  5. Switch to the main damage dealer and attack while the ultimate is active. If necessary, you can switch between the characters in the pack.
  6. Before repeating the rotation, make sure your Elemental Burst is charged and not on cooldown. It is recommended to use the elemental ability strictly after the ultimate so that the particles do not disappear.

Сonclusion

Xingqiu is a versatile pocket damage dealer in Genshin Impact who excels in any team. The hero's accessibility, build, and gameplay simplicity are the foundation of his popularity and high tier list positions. The character is useful for both beginners and high-level players. ranks.

His main drawback is his expensive ultimate and high cooldown, which prevents him from being a fully-fledged damage dealer. A proper build with an emphasis on energy regeneration, a suitable sword, and the sixth constellation solve this problem, ensuring easy gameplay and high damage output.

Please help, I have a squad with Diluc (DD), Pryun, Xingqiu, and Durin. Will this be okay? Or should I replace Xingqiu with someone else, like Mona or Rosaria? *I don't know how to create squads at all :__

Hello, can you help me? I put Xin Qiu in a squad with Skirk, and I seem to have a pretty good collection of Signal Artifacts, but I thought I'd like to put Scrolls in the squad specifically on him. Is it possible and will it be of any use?

Hello! Since Xingqiu isn't a Natlan character, the only thing you'll get with him in this set is 8% elemental damage (one of the pros). The cons: issues with activating his ultimate due to the lack of a signal set and slightly less personal damage. It's best to leave it as is: the difference will be about the same, but you won't lose any comfort or versatility (for example, if you want to put him in a mono-Hydro squad, you won't have to change gear).

Either Xingqiu or Yelan should be replaced with some Bennett

Diluc is fine.
either Xingqiu or Ye Lan (I would take Lanka, but that’s just my opinion).
Tsitsi is useless here, remove it.
for the 3rd and 4th slots you can have Bennett and Mona.
Now that's a good squad.

Will the sintsu play in the pack like Arle's grandfather sintsu Kazakh?

Of course! Xingqiu will be the hydro applicator, Ded will be the shield, and Kazuha will be the wind set booster and elemental buff. A great squad.

I'm thinking Raiden or Mavuika (if they're not available, then Diluc or Varka), and if I'm going to lie to someone from 4*, then Rosaria / Chun Yun / Xiangling or Bennett would probably be a good choice.
