Pyro Traveler in Genshin Impact is the main character belonging to the Pyro element, able to take the position of either a sub- or a main-DPS in their team. He applies Pyro status during normal attacks of allies, and when having some consts, he can deal significantly more damage or receive infusion for his attacks.
In this guide, we will take a look at how important the constellations for the Pyro MC are and how they change his possible positions in a team. One of the key features of the hero is his Pyro status, which is applied relatively often compared to other characters of the same element, so he can be used as an applicator.
Having arrived to a new territory, the Traveler fails to create resonance with the fire element in Natlan. On his way, he meets a girl from the Children of the Echoes tribe, Kachina, who tells him about the future pilgrimage and shares information on what this event actually is. The Traveler is again drawn into a whirlwind of events, including countless battles, secrets of the fallen empire and solution of the Abyss problem.

How to get the fire element

To unlock Pyro MC, you need to complete the 'Where All Hopes Lie' Archon quest in 'Chapter V: Act V - Incandescent Ode of Resurrection'. Later you will be able to obtain all the consts. Proceed to the Throne of Primal Fire and make an offering of Blazing Flint Oresyou've collected to unlock additional constellations and boost the hero.
Strengths and Weaknesses

Having analyzed all the passive and active abilities of Pyro Traveler, we can figure out the pros and cons of using the character. Based on the free constellations that can be obtained as you progress through the story, we can see striking differences from the previous versions of the main character and the existing heroes of Natlan:
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| Free character with Nightsoul mechanics. To obtain this hero you will not have to spend valuable stones. Using the Traveler, it is much easier to deal with various opponents from Natlan. | Long ability recharge time. Long cooldown compared to skill duration and effectiveness. This is not fixed by acquiring constellations or leveling up talents. |
| Can wear the Natlan Buffer Set, Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City . The set offers beneficial boosts not only to the Traveler himself, but also for his squad. | Low damage. Compared to similar investments in heroes of epic rarity, he is much less effective during combat. As a main damage dealere, he's even worse. |
| Easy to master. When playing the character, you shouldn't think too much about complex rotations so as not to lose damage during combat. | Cannot be unlocked at the beginning of Natlan exploration. Although he has the key Nightsoul mechanic, this Traveler form cannot be obtained at the start of the Pyro region, which will make the process of exploring the location more difficult. |
| Getting key constellations without investment. All consts are obtained as you progress through the story and level up your friendship with the tribes. The only investment in this hero is your time. |
The Best Pyro Traveler Builds in Genshin Impact

Pyro Traveler is a hero who provides Pyro status and gives buffs to the squad with his constellation effects. During the Nightsoul Blessing, the character should find the time to provide his squad with buffs and apply Pyro to the target using his elemental skill. To deal good damage to enemies, it is necessary to balance the critical mass (critical damage and hit chance) with artifacts, weapons and passive set effects.
In a team, Pyro MC at C6 is able to take the slot of the main damage dealer and use his normal attacks, but, regardless of buffs and equipment set, he will be significantly inferior to the similar heroes of epic rarity. In the following paragraphs, we will tell you how to build Pyro Traveler, what artifacts and weapons to chhose for him, and also indicate the stats he needs.
Recommended Stats
To deal more damage to targets, it is necessary to balance the values of critical damage and chance, since critical hits are important both when using the skill and normal attacks in the main damage build. We recommend distributing the stats as follows:
| Artifact | Main characteristic | Additional stats |
|---|---|---|
Flower of Life | HP (fixed) | CRIT Rate CRIT DMG ATK% Energy recharge |
Plume of Death | Attack Power (fixed) | CRIT DMG CRIT Rate Energy recharge |
Sands of Eon | ATK% Energy Recharge% | ATK Energy recharge CRIT chance/damage |
Goblet of Eonothem | Pyro Damage Bonus% ATK% | CRIT damage/chance Restoring energy ATK |
Circlet of Logos | CRIT Rate CRIT DMG | CRIT damage/chance |
The most favorable stats for Pyro Traveler are:
- ATK: 1 and more.
- CRIT Rate: min 60%.
- Crit. damage: 120% and more, depending on CRIT chance.
- Energy recharge: 190-210 without a second Pyro in the team, 170-180 for mono-Pyro teams and teams with one more ally of the same element.
To play in Burgeon teams, crits and attack power are not needed, it is enough to gain energy recovery and EM (450 and more). Despite the fairly frequent, in comparison to most other Pyro characters, applying Pyro from the pocket, Pyro MC almost does not trigger reactions, so even in Melt and Vaporize squads there is no point in him getting this stat.
Best Weapons
Pyro Traveler's weapons should be chosen based on the hero's role in the squad. For a sub-damager, it is worth choosing equipment for energy recharge team buffs. The main damage dealer's build should include critical mass (critical damage or chance) to help balance the stats. Less often, you can lean towards choosing an option for attack power or useful passive effects.
You can find out the overall rating of all equipment in the game using weapon tier list.
Sub-DPS Build
Weapons for a sub-DPS Pyro MC:
| Name | Passive ability | Recommendation |
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base ATK: 46-608 Elemental Mastery: 43-198 |
Millennial Movement increases damage dealt by 10-20%. Triggering an elemental reaction grants the character one Sigil of Remembrance every 0.5 seconds, even if they are not on the battlefield. When the character gets two Sigils, they disappear, granting nearby allies Millennial Movement: Farewell Song for 12 sec., which increases the damage of normal, charged, and plunging attacks by 16-32%, and attack power by 20-40%. After activating the effect, Sigils will not appear for 20 sec. Millennial Movement does not stack with other effects that affect the same skills. | The weapon's passive effect provides valuable buffs for the entire team. The EM stat will have a good effect on reactions in Burgeon squads and buff the Traveler's elemental damage. |
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base ATK: 42-510 Elemental Mastery: 36-165 |
Every 10 sec. the following effect is triggered: energy recovery of the character equipped with this weapon is increased by 0,036-0,072% for each point of their own Elemental Mastery for 12 sec. Nearby allies gain 30% of this effect. If other members of the squad also have this weapon, its bonus stacks. This effect works even if the character is off-field. | An option for playing within Burgeon teams. The weapon provides energy recharge based on the elemental mastery stat. |
Favonius Sword⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base ATK: 41-454 Energy recharge: 13.3%-61.3% |
Critical attacks every 12-6 sec have 60%-100% chance to create elemental particles that restore 6 units of energy. | A useful sword that buffs not only Pyro MC, but also his team, helping to restore energy with critical hits of a skill or elemental burst. |
Skyward Blade⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base ATK: 46-608 Energy recharge: 12%-55.1% |
Increases crit rate by 4% -8%. Elemental Burst increases movement and attack speed by 10%, and normal and charged attacks deal additional damage equal to 20%-40% of attack power. The duration of all effects is 12 seconds. | The weapon has a high base attack power and a good percentage of energy recovery. Overall, it can be a good option for Pyro MC to get the necessary ER and activate the elemental burst right after the E-attack. |
Lion's Roar⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base attack power: 42-510 ATK: 9-41% |
Increases damage by 20% against enemies affected by Pyro or Electro elements. | A good weapon option for a mono-Pyro team or a team with heroes that can maintain fire status on targets. |
Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (F2P)⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base ATK: 42-510 Energy recharge: 10-45,9% |
Increases crit chance for elemental skills by 8-16%. In addition, after using an elemental skill, energy recharge is increased by 16-32% for 5 sec. | An affordable weapon that can be obtained without spending wishes in banners. Increases critical chance for the skill and boosts energy recovery. |
Wolf-Fang (BP)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base ATK: 42-510 CRIT Rate: 6-27% |
Increases elemental skill and elemental burst damage by 16 %. When an elemental skill or elemental burst hits an enemy, their crit chance increases by 2%. The effects operate independently of each other. Each effect lasts 10 sec., stacks up to 4 times and may occur once per 0,1 sec. | Increases the damage of the Pyro MC's key ability, but it is important to keep in mind that critical chance stacks are not activated from the pocket, so it is better to wait for a couple of E-attack ticks before leaving the field and switch a bit later than usual. |
Sapwood Blade (F2P)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base ATK: 44-565 Energy recharge: 6.7%-30.6% |
Activating Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon creates a Leaf of Consciousness next to the character, which lasts for 10 seconds. The elemental mastery of the character who picks it up increases by 60 for 12 sec. A leaf can appear once every 20 sec. This effect works even if the equipped character is not on the battlefield. The effect of the Leaf of Consciousness does not stack. | F2P weapon for playing off Dendro reactions. Useful weapon for the whole team due to the possibility of getting an additional 60 elemental mastery of the element. Grants Pyro MC the ER he needs so much. |
Main DPS Build
Weapon options for building Pyro Traveler into a main damage dealer:
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
Mistsplitter Reforged⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base ATK: 48-674 CRIT DMG: 9.6%-44.1% |
All types of elemental damage get 12%-24% damage bonus, as well as the strength of the Mistsplitter Emblem. At emblem levels 1/2/3, the character gains 8%-16%/16%-32%/28%-56% bonus to the elemental damage of their element. A character gains 1 level of Mistsplitter Emblem in the following cases: • when dealing elemental damage with a normal attack, the emblem is valid for 5 seconds; • when applying an elemental burst, the emblem is valid for 10 seconds; • When the character's elemental energy is below 100%, the emblem obtained this way is valid until the character recovers all of their elemental energy. The duration of each level of the emblem is calculated individually. |
It will help balance the characteristics and will strengthen all attacks and skills of Pyro Traveler. Although it will not be possible to quickly renew weapon stacks, it will be possible to get significant buffs. |
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base ATK: 46-608 CRIT Rate: 7,2%-33,1% |
Grants 12%-24% elemental damage bonus. When nearby heroes use their skills, summons 1 Wavespike. In total, 2 levels are accumulated, you can get them once in 1 seconds. When a character equipped with this sword uses their E, each accumulated wave is spent and increases the damage of normal attacks by 20-40% for 8 sec. | It is difficult to use all the passive of this weapon due to the long cooldown of the abilities. However, Pyro MC will be able to get a buff to elemental damage and crit chance. |
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Basic attack 44-542 Critical Damage 19,2%-88,2% |
CRIT chance increases by 4%-8%. Normal Attacks that deal elemental damage grant the effect of Foliar Incision, increasing the damage of normal attacks and elemental skills by 120%-240% of Elemental Mastery no more than once every 12 seconds. After 28 activations or after 12 sec. the effect disappears. | It will be useful for playing within Dendro teams, provided that the Pyro MC is built into a main DPS with high EM. Otherwise, the weapon will not work properly and serve only as a plug for critical damage. |
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Basic attack 44-542 Critical Hit Chance 9,6%-44,1% |
Increases HP by 20-40% Also grants an attack bonus equal to 1,2-2,4% of max HP of the character equipped with this weapon. | It is works better in teams with Hydro Resonance, which gives an HP bonus. The weapon will increase the valuable critical chance and increase the damage of attacks based on HP value. |
![]() Calamity of Eshu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Basic attack 44-565 ATK: 6-27,6% |
Increases normal and charged attack damage by 20-40%, as well as the critical hit chance of normal and charged attacks by 8-16%, if the character is protected by a shield. | To play with this weapon, you must definitely take a shielder into your squad to get buffs for normal attacks. |
The Black Sword⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base damage: 42-510 Crit chance: 6%-27,6% |
Normal and Charged Attack Damage increases by20-40%. Restores HP for critical hits, 60-100% of attack power. The effect occurs once every 5 seconds. | Improves survivability due to health recovery on critical hits. Due to the secondary stat, critical chance will increase, which is important for stat balancing. |
Blackcliff Longsword⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base damage: 44-565 CRIT DMG: 8%-36,8% |
Killing an enemy will increase attack power by 12-24% for 30 seconds. The effect stacks up to 3 times. Each stack's duration is calculated individually. | Works better in battles against elite opponents and groups of enemies, since in battles with single targets the passive is used. |
The Flute⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base attack power: 42-510 ATK: 9-41.3% |
When a character hits an enemy with a normal or charged attack, a musical note is played. After 5 notes accumulate, a shockwave is generated that deals 100-200% damage. You can get a note once a 0,5 sec., and it's played for 30 sec. | Useful in battles against a group of opponents. Easy to use the passive effect of equipment during the rotation of basic attacks with infusion. |
Top Artifacts
Pyro Traveler's artifacts should be chosen depending on what his party needs. If the hero plays the role of a secondary damage dealer, the set should be aimed either at buffs for the entire party, or at energy restoration and elemental damage. For the main DD, buffs for all sources of damage or basic attacks will come in handy.

Teams

Pyro MC is better assigned to be a support, providing buffs and Pyro application for the main damage dealer. His Nightsoul mechanics makes it easier to deal with opponents from Natlan, who require having such a character in their squad. Can play well in many teams that need Pyro damage from the pocket to trigger subsequent reactions with other damage dealers.
The main damage dealer Pyro Traveler is more demanding and dependent on allies. He needs strong buffers and supports that can fully support the hero during damage and protect him from crushing attacks of opponents.

Suitable commands
We will list various elemental squads for Pyro Traveler, where he can be either as a sub-DD or a main damage dealer.
Vaporize Teams
Teams playing off Vaporize, where Pyro MC can be useful:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | By recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Mualani | Pyro MC | Kazuha Sucrose | Xilonen | Mualani team. Since the heroine has very slow attacks, Pyro Traveler will be able to completely cover her need for Pyro status for the reaction of Vaporize. Additionally, you can color Kazuha or Sukrose's ult Pyro, and Xilonen will give a bonus to all team elements through Crystallize. |
Hu Tao | Xingqiu | Pyro MC | Kazuha Xilonen | It is important to monitor Hu Tao's health level when playing with Xilonen, but Xilonen alone will let you deal maximum damage to targets due to cutting off resistances. If you add Kazuha, it is better to choose Xingqiu for the sake of healing and play carefully. Pyro MC is needed to boost Hu Tao and apply Pyro status for supports. |
Arlecchino | Xingqiu Yelan | Pyro MC | Zhongli | Arlecchino uses additional attacks applied by the Pyro MC's E-attack at close range, dealing Vaporize damage to targets while Hydro status applied by the preferred hero is active. |
Ayato | Xiangling | Pyro MC | Xilonen Zhongli | A team with huge AoE-damage. Thanks to Pyro MC, Xiangling will be able to restore energy faster to activate her elemental burst. |
Neuvillette | Pyro MC | Baizhu Jean | This team has too much Hydro status to play Vaporize properly, but Traveler is still useful for buffing the active character and implementing Neuvillette's passive. It's better to get some healer for the last slot, but not of the Hydro or Pyro elements. | |
Mizuki | Mona | Furina | Pyro MC | Vaporize team with Mizuki for a driver. The heroine heals the squad and hits with Swirl over Hydro and Pyro status, reducing the resistance of enemies to both elements, while the skills of her sub-DD work from the pocket. |
Pyro MC | Xingqiu Yelan | Kazuha Sucrose | Bennett | A team with constellated Traveler for the main damage dealer. To pull groups of enemies, it is better to use Kazuha. Bennett will give the MC the attack power he needs, and will also allow him to accumulate elemental burst faster. |
Melt Teams
Sample teams with Cryo and Pyro elements to trigger reactions:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | By recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Mavuika | Pyro MC | Xingqiu Yelan | Citlali | Buffs from Citlali will significantly increase the damage of Mavuika, Pyro MC and Hydro supports. Due to the presence of several Natlanians in the team, the Pyro Archon will be able to activate her ult really quickly. |
Ayaka | Pyro MC | Shenhe | Bennett | All of the squad's buffs are aimed at boosting Ayaka and her constant weapon infusion. The teams has attack power increase by Bennett, damage increase and Cryo damage resistance reduction by Shenhe, and additional buff and application by Pyro Traveler. |
Wriothesley | Pyro MC | Xiangling | Xilonen Zhongli | A squad with dual Pyro application from Xiangling and Traveler for Wriothesley, who has attacks with constant Cryo damage. Geo support will allow to strengthen both elements and provide the team with survivability. |
Pyro MC | Kaeya | Xiangling | Bennett Diona | A squad with the main damage dealer Pyro Traveler. This setup deals area damage and attacks enemies with fire infusion on the weapon of the C6 main character. |
Overloaded Squads
Squads with Electro and Pyro elements that deal explosive damage to targets:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | By recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Pyro MC | Fischl | Chevreuse | Without a shield for Arlecchino, you need to pay attention to the explosion of her elemental burst and the HP values. Chevreuse will be able to trigger reactions and reduce enemy resistance, but will not restore the damager's health due to the peculiarities of the mechanics. The advantage of one element in the team will allow you to quickly accumulate the ultimate on Arlecchino. | |
Raiden | Pyro MC | Kazuha | Bennett | An Overloaded squad with AoE-damage to targets and almost no need for energy recovery due to Raiden. Kazuha will be able to pull enemies together to apply status and trigger subsequent reactions. |
Clorinde Keqing | Pyro MC | Yae Miko | Chevreuse | For such a mobile damage dealer a Clorinde, it is better to choose allies who impose effects either on her or summoned creatures and structures on the field. Chevreuse will act as a healer, as well as a debuffer and reactor, reducing the resistance of targets for the procs of allies' skills. Instead of Clorinde, you can take Keqing. |
Pyro MC | Fischl Lisa | Dehya Xiangling | Bennett Chevreuse | An Overloaded squad for the Traveler with high damage dealt to low-level opponents. Constellations will benefit not only the MC himself, but also his squad members, whose damage will increase significantly. |
Dendro reaction Teams
Teams using the Dendro element to activate Burgeon and Burning on targets. Almost all team members should be built for elemental mastery:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | By recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Alhaitham | Pyro MC | Yelan Xingqiu | Baizhu Yaoyao | The team members immediately apply Pyro and Dendro to the target with their attacks, which, in combination with the cores created by Blooming, will allow you to play off the Burgeon reaction. Yelan has less Hydro status than Xingqiu C2 before she gets her C6 , but Alhaatham's personal damage with her is higher. |
Kinich | Pyro MC | Emilie Xiangling | Bennett | When fighting at close range, Pyro MC will be able to refresh the Pyro status once every 3 seconds and extend Burning on enemies, as well as wear the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder Cityset. Kinich and Emilia deal Dendro damage, while Bennett closes the Pyro Resonance and ensures survivability. |
Ayato | Pyro MC | Nahida | Baizhu Yaoyao | One more Burgeon option, but using Hydro damager as an active character. Elemental mastery buff by Nahida is not necessary here, since Ayato is playing on the field, and the main reaction is covered by Pyro MC, but the Dendro Archon will still contribute a huge share to the overall damage. The cores created by Dendro will quickly explode with the help of Pyro MC's E-attack. |
Pyro MC | Nahida Fischl | Yelan Xingqiu | Bennett Baizhu | For the Pyro MC damage dealer to play in a Dendro team, you have to include at least one hero of the Dendro element, which will allow him to apply Burning on the enemy. Hydro applicators will be able to create Vaporize or cores depending on the order of casting. In the version with the Electro hero, the team will receive more explosive damage. |
Mono-Pyro Teams
Teams where most of the heroes belong to one element. Many teams work better with the Traveler being C1 or C2:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | By recommendation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Arlecchino Hu Tao | Pyro MC | Kazuha Venti | Bennett Zhongli | Both damage dealers don't need HP restoration from Bennett, but will be happy with the attack power buff when using their ultimates. Zhongli won't buff attack, but will provide a safer game. Anemo support will easily boost the status applied by Pyro MC. |
Lyney | Pyro MC | Dehya | Xilonen Zhongli | Mono-Pyro team for Lyney in case if you need to free up Xiangling and Bennett for another team. The dominance of one element will allow all members of the squad to quickly restore energy, and strong support will increase the overall damage. |
Mavuika | Pyro MC | Citlali | Xilonen | Despite the presence of Citlali, the squad is more of a fire type due to the two Pyro damage dealers. Citlali's abilities will reduce resistance to Pyro, additional resistances will be cut by Xilonen. In this squad, Mavuika has an extremely fast activation of the ult due to the fact that all the characters are from Natlan. |
Pyro MC | Xiangling | Kazuha Venti | Bennett | Roasting and semi-free squad for C6 Pyro MC. While the main hero deals the main damage through attacks on the field, Anemo support reduces resistance and groups enemies, Xiangling deals damage from the pocket. |
Gaming | Pyro MC | Dehya | Xianyun | A plunging squad with with Gaming. Frequent elemental burst from the damage dealer will allow for explosive area damage. Xianyun will increase the damage of the plunging attacks, but she needs to gain as much energy recovery as possible. |
Extra Stats For Leveling
The Traveler's leveling is distinguished by a special mechanic, where the hero retains his basic and additional stats obtained during the stages of ascension when switching elements. The main parameter that increases as you ascend is bonus attack power. The stat is imposed over the base attack power value, which increases along with the values of health and defense. You can find out more about all the parameters and bonuses in the table:
| Level | Base HP | Basic attack | Base DEF | ATK |
| 1 | 912 | 18 | 57 | 0% |
| 20 | 3 024 | 59 | 189 | 0% |
| 40 | 5 013 | 98 | 315 | 6% |
| 50 | 6 411 | 125 | 402 | 6% |
| 60 | 7 648 | 149 | 480 | 12 % |
| 70 | 8 885 | 174 | 558 | 18 % |
| 80 | 10 122 | 197 | 635 | 18 % |
| 90 | 10 875 | 212 | 683 | 24 % |
Leveling
Below we will list everything you need to level your Pyro Traveler and tell you how to get all the necessary resources. We'll indicate the regions and methods for obtaining key materials for leveling up the MC and his talents.
Ascension
To level up your Traveler, you will need widely available and rare resources. It is enough to level the MC once so that the level progress is saved for all his forms:
- Brilliant Diamond Gemstone is a limited resource, used only for leveling the main character. Obtained as you level your adventure rank (levels 15-45).
- Damaged Mask, Stained Mask, Ominous Mask are dropped by groups of regular Hilichurls, which can be found in any region of Teyvat.
- Windwheel Aster - flowers that grow in some areas of Mondstadt.
- 420 000 Mora and 425 Hero's Wit.
Talents
Leveling up the Traveler's talents requires acquiring both widely available items from the world and dungeons, as well as limited resources acquired as you explore Natlan to unlock higher tier skills:
- Books of Conflict, Contention and Kindling - all three types of scrolls are obtained in the dungeon Blazing Ruins on different days of the week. The general time of farming all books starts with sunday , server time.
- Warrior's Metal Whistle, Sentry's Wooden Whistle, Saurian-Crowned Warrior's Golden Whistle are dropped by Sauroform Tribal Warriors.
- The Cornerstone of Stars and Flames - rare material awarded for completing important story quests in Natlan.
- Crown of Insight - an item required to level talents to 10.
- 1 700 000 Mora.
Skills

Pyro Traveler's skills invite to playing his as a secondary damage dealer and applicator, capable of performing joint attacks with an ally to cause reactions for targets. Similar to the heroes of Natlan, Pyro MC has the mechanic of Nightsoul, and is able to use Blessing and Burst, but not Transmission. Thus, his skillset lacks skills that make it easier to explore areas with phlogiston, but in combat he remains as effective as other heroes of the Pyro region.
Nightsoul Blessing is activated when you press the elemental skill and ends when all NS points are spent. To maintain stacks, you need to use elemental burstn and resort to activating your passive ability, which is very easy to do in any squad.
Basic (Active) Skills
Below we will list all the Pyro Traveler's abilities, both active and passive, that are often used in battle.
Foreign Blaze (Normal, Charged, Plunging Attack)
Source of damage: ATK
Normal attack: Performs up to 5 quick strikes on a target or group of enemies.
Charged Attack: spends stamina and performs two swings with the blade.
Plunging Attack: rapidly falls down and deals area damage upon landing.
Flowfire Blade (Elemental Skill)
Cooldown: 18 seconds
Source of damage: ATK
Max Nightsoul points (NS): 80
This skill transfers the character into the Nightsoul Blessing state and grants him 42 NS points.
Tap: Releases a burst of flame and summons a Blazing Threshold that will follow the active hero. When approaching enemies, it deals Pyro damage with the Nightsoul attribute based on attack power.
Hold: deals Pyro damage in an area with the Nightsoul attribute, affects all the enemies at close range and summons Scorching Threshold, which attaches to the active character. Together with the hero, it prforms a joint attack to the enemy, dealing Pyro damage with the Nightsoul attribute. Also spreads Pyro status at close range. The effect occurs once every 3 sec.
The Nightsoul Blessing state continuously consumes NS points for 12 seconds. When the character runs out of NS points, the effect fades. Only one copy of the summoned Blazing Threshold and Scorching Threshold can exist at a time and will disappear when the Blessing ends.
Plains Scorcher (Elemental Burst)
Cooldown: 18 seconds
Source of damage: ATK
Energy required: 70
Condense the flames into a mark and causes an explosion, dealing Pyro damage with the Nightsoul attrribute to enemies in front of the characyer. For the next 4 seconds after the explosion restores 7 Nightsoul point per second.
Talent Leveling Order
Elemental Skill (E) ≥ Elemental Burst (Q) > Basic Attack
The priority of leveling up Pyro Traveler's skills is the following:
- Elemental Skill activates the Nightsoul Blessing state and summons an additional object for joint attacks at enemies with Pyro. Damage dealt increases with skill level. This ability in combat more often than the others.
- Elemental Burst — the ultimate is equivalent to Pyro Traveler's E in terms of effectiveness, but is slightly inferior in terms of using it within a fight. You need to gain 70 energy and wait for 18 seconds every time, so without a second fire hero in the team and a high percentage of energy recharge, it will not be possible to use the elemental burst immediately when it is ready.
- Basic attack is not used in the sub-dps role, but can be used in the main-dps build at C6 due to the Pyro infusion on the weapon. Until then, it is worth focusing on leveling other Traveler's skills.
Passive Skills
Pyro MC's passive skills are listed in the table:
| True Flame of Incineration | If the character has 20 or less Nighsoul points, the area of effect of Blazing Threshold and Scorching Threshold (elemental skill) increases after hitting an enemy. |
| Embers Unspent |
|
| Alien flame of the stars (unlocks when you receive the skin) "And heaven and earth were created anew") |
You draw new strength from your past travels. For each element you resonate with, you gain additional power:
Additionally, when nearby party members activate Night Spirit's Flare, the traveler gains 1 level of Sacred Flame Blade. This stacks up to 2 times. When 2 levels of Sacred Flame Blade are reached, a charged attack consumes them completely and transforms into a special Charged Attack: Devouring Flame. Charged Attack: Consuming Flame - Each hit of the charged attack deals increased Pyro damage with the Night Spirit stat. The damage increase is equal to 200% of the Traveler's attack power. Charged Attack: Consuming Flame can be performed no more than once every 15 seconds. |
Constellations
Pyro Traveler has two sets of constellations:
- the first one facilitates battles with the weekly boss Lord of Eroded Primal Fire;
- the second one increases the damage of Pyro MC himself as a game character.
In the game, the system looks like regular constellations with double descriptions. For convenience, we will divide the descriptions into two tables.
Consts for the boss fight
The table shows all the Pyro Traveler constellations for the boss fight. You don't need to make any offerings to unlock them, just complete the story. They are not used outside of Gosoythoth battles.
| Name | Effects |
| 1: Starfire's Flowing Light | While confronting the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire in Gosoythoth form, while Blazing Threshold or Scorching Threshold is active, the traveler's attack power is increased by 40%, damage taken is reduced by 40%, and interrupt resistance is increased. |
| 2: Ever-Lit Candle | When confronting the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire in Gosoythoth form, when the traveler is in the Nightsoul state and his Pyro attacks hit an enemy, the enemy's Pyro resistance is reduced by 20% for 6 sec. This effect stacks up to 2 times. The duration of each stack is calculated individually. |
| 3: Relayed Beacon | While confronting the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire in Gosoythoth form, the traveler gains a 40% Pyro damage bonus. |
| 4: Ravaging Flame | When confronting the Lord of the Smoldering Primal Flame in Gosoitoth form, after using the elemental blast Searing Plains, all nearby party members are restored by 40% of their Max HP. For the next 10 sec, the traveler restores 4 Energy every second. |
| 5: The Fire Inextinguishable | While confronting the Lord of the Smoldering Primal Flame in Gosoitoth form, the traveler's critical hit chance is increased by 20% and critical damage is increased by 40%. |
| 6: The Sacred Flame Imperishable | When confronting the Lord of the Smoldering Primal Flame in Gosoitoth form, while the traveler is in the Nightsoul state, his movement speed is increased by 20% and stamina consumption is decreased by 30%. Additionally, using normal and charged attacks will send flaming waves flowing forward, dealing Pyro damage with the Nightsoul attribute equal to 96% of the traveler's attack power to enemies in their path. |
Game consts
Below are all the constellations that boost Pyro MC as a game unit. To get them, make an offering to the Throne of the Primal Fire (Capitano) and turn in Blazing Flint Ore. Please note that this can only be done with the Pyro Traveler.
| Name | Effects |
| 1: Starfire's Flowing Light | When Blazing Threshold or Scorching Threshold is active, the active character's damage is increased by 6%. If the character is under the Nightsoul Blessing, their damage is additionally increased by 9%. |
| 2: Ever-Lit Candle | For 12 seconds after using an elemental skill, and whenever a nearby party member activates Burning, Vaporize, Melt, Overloaded, Burgeon, Swirl or Pyro Crystallize, the Traveler will recover 14 Nightsoul points. Each use of Flowfire Blade can restore up to 28 Nightsoul points. |
| 3: Relayed Beacon | Increases elemental skill level by 3. Max. level: 15 |
| 4: Ravaging Flame | After using Elemental burst Pyro MC gains 20% Pyro Damage Bonus for 9 sec. |
| 5: The Fire Inextinguishable | Increases elemental burst level by 3. Max. level: 15 |
| 6: The Sacred Flame Imperishable | Normal, charged, and plunging attacks during Nightsoul Blessing deal Nightsoul-attributed Pyro damage that is not overridden by other infusions. Critical damage of such attacks is increased by 40%. |
Best constellation for Pyro MC are C1, C2, C3.
- The first constellation - the Pyro Traveler has a buff potential for both himself and his allies, which is assigned to Blazing Threshold or Scorching Threshold. The buff will increase if the hero is able to enter the Nightsoul Blessing state.
- The second constellation will restore valuable Nightsoul points needed to use Blazing or Scorching Threshold for longer. This boost will allow the skill to use its full 12-second limit when playing in any team that can trigger a reaction with the fire element. In a mono-Pyro squad, it will not be possible to receive a boost from this constellation if the team does not engage in combat with elemental enemies.
- The third one is aimed at increasing the level of the elemental skill that the Traveler uses most of the time in combat. Along with leveling the ability, the damage dealt by Blazing or Scorching Threshold will increase. The charged skill has more attack power scaling, so you should not forget about them when performing the rotation.
Activation sixth constellation is a prerequisite for building a Pyro Traveler main damage dealer. Without this const, which transform regular attacks into a fiery infusion, it is recommended to use the hero only as a sub-DPS.
How to Play Pyro Traveler

The Pyro Traveler can be played in two ways, taking the role of both the main damage dealer and the supporting character. The style of play practically does not change, except that at a certain stage, regular infused attacks are added. To do this, it is necessary to activate the sixth constellation of the Pyro MC, which can be obtained for completing missions and exploring the world of Natlan. Activating the Nightsoul Blessing with an elemental skill is a key mechanic for both the sub-DD and the main damage dealer.
Rotation
Skill Order: Elemental skill (E) for Pyro Traveler > going on with further team rotation > Elemental burst (Q) > switching to a damage dealer or going on with further team rotation.
Here's a detailed sample rotation for Pyro Traveler:
- In elemental squads, it is important to start the rotation with Pyro MC. This way, in addition to extra attacks perfomed by Blazing or Scorching Threshold, valuable energy for the ultimate will be accumulated. With the first two constellations, it will be possible to get more benefit from the activation and a buff for the attacking ally.
- Perform any reaction over an already applied Pyro status using attacks by sub-damage dealers and supports, according to the established team rotation.
- Use Traveler's Elemental Burst to inflict a new Fire status to enemies and gain a chance to restore 28 Nightsoul points to maintain the Blessing state.
- Go on with the team rotation until the Pyro MC's skill is restored (18 seconds). If the hero is playing as the team's main damage dealer, provided that C6 is available, use normal attacks with Pyro Infusion.
Character Summary

Pyro Traveler in Genshin Impact is a sub-damage dealer and an applicator, who performs joint attacks with the main DPS of the team. Having obtained his constellations, the hero can act as a buffer and increase combat potential of allies. One noticeable advantage over other characters is his availability as a combat unit, because to get the MC you do not need to spend wishes in the event banner, but just finish story chapters. The Traveler has the mechanics of Nightsoul, which allows you to enter into favorable battles with opponents from Natlan, obliging you to have at least one hero in the team with such a status.
Thanks to the abundance of reactions in his passive skill, Pyro MC can be a good addition to any team as a combat unit. Despite the high cooldown of abilities, Pyro Traveler effectively closes reactions and carries out additional attacks together with the main damage dealer. The only real disadvantage is his low damage even at C6. The hero can play in the open world, but will feel the lack of DPS on targets in the Twisted Abyss, the Imaginarium Theater or in battles with local legends, sometimes losing even to epic heroes in the same position.

Why doesn't she have Pyro Infusion if I have a C6? Nothing changes after I use the E-class, and it's the same with the ult, by the way.
Hello! Have you made offerings to the Throne of the Primordial Fire (the throne of the Capitano)?
Will Vares, Iansan, and Chevreuse fit into the team?
Yes
After the song of the hollow moon, did anything change in his tier list or did it remain in the same place?
The twins are at least several million years old, because in the second story of the main character it is said that they flew around many myriads of planets (1 myriad is 2,985,984) and they clearly spent more than one day on these planets + a lot of time on flights and searching for new planets
Wouldn't the falcon's sword do?
